  1. I figured out almost all the lyrics to the 2nd verse. Here's the lyrics: [Verse 2: Chester Bennington with Mike Shinoda] But I’m tired I will always be afraid Of the damage I’ve received Broken promises they made And I’ll [?] I believed I will never break away (Can’t break free) Cause when I’m alone Edit: Nevermind
  2. @HFL377 mentioned that the song is in the key of B minor but he thought the guitars were tuned to Drop C#.
  3. I think it has all 7 of the studio album eras mixed into one song. It's a demo from the Meteora era, it has a kind of Hybrid Theory singing style that Chester does, as @IWillWalkAway mentioned, it has "In My Remains' vibes, as @STRANGELOVE92 mentioned, it sound a bit like a MTM demo, as @IWillWalkAway mentioned, it kind of also has a ATS singing style, similar to "Burning In The Skies", "Waiting For The End", or "Iridescent", in my opinion, it kind of also has a OML singing style, and it kind of also has "Until It's Gone" and "Final Masquerade" vibes too, in my opinion.
  4. It sounds like it's a part of the bridge based off the instrumental sounding exactly like the instrumental in the chorus from the other snippet/teaser. Anyways, here's the lyrics from this new snippet: [Chester Bennington] I try to keep this pain Inside my mind That'll never be alright I- It sounds like at the end, because it cuts off, that it most likely repeats again.
  5. C# Minor? Is that the key it's played in?
  6. We'll be getting the new image of the banner along with the Nobody's Listening voicemail later today.
  7. I already knew that, lol. Also, More the Victim sounds like it's either about betrayal, a toxic relationship, or an abusive relationship. That's what I think anyway. Guess we'll find out when it gets released.
  8. These make a ton of sense, though, I had a different opinion for Shifter. I was thinking about that the name Shifter is in relation to how the song shifts back and forth from the light and soft verses to the heavy and hard choruses. That's what I was thinking anyway.
  9. You're kind of wrong, lol. For ATS, there's LeftRight, Monday Meeting, Chicken Basket, and Fucking Awesome (That's all that I know of, anyway). For Living Things, the only one I know of is the fourth Until It Breaks demo with Chester's vocals. For The Hunting Party, the only one I know for that is The Glistening. And for One More Light, there's Friendly Fire, Tidal Wave, My Horizion, and Ricochet (I'm pretty sure there are more, but those are the ones I know of at the moment). Lol, I just noticed it.
  10. Maybe he does some backing vocals during the verses. You can hear him whisper "Can't break free" when Chester sings "And I'll never break away" in both snippets.
  11. When the song gets released Friday, I’m gonna have a field day with editing on Genius, lol.
  12. It's basically a b-side to Meteora.
  13. Meanwhile, I can't stop, lol. It's too catchy. Heck, the lyrics I heard in the snippet are already stuck in my head, lol. Anyway, I can't wait to hear the full song on Friday.
  14. And we'll get to hear the full song Friday! Can't wait!
  15. Here are the lyrics from the snippet: [Verse: Chester Bennington with Mike Shinoda] And I'll never break away (Can't break free) Cause when I'm alone [Chorus: Chester Bennington] I'm lost in these memories Leaving behind my own illusion
  16. Did anyone download this before it got removed?
  17. I agree on that. Sometime next week for sure. We don't have much to do with the puzzle. Just the computer and the tape and I think that's basically it. Right?
  18. He did mention this in the video of him unboxing the HT20 boxset: "Begrudgingly, Mark agreed to let us release the songs with his vocals, shout out to him for that." Maybe Mark wanted Mike to limit the amount of Xero songs with Mark's vocals on the release, mainly because Mark doesn't like his stuff out there to the public. He wants to keep his stuff private. He doesn't want lots of attention.
  19. Here's these pages: https://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Carousel https://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Step_Up This is what it says about it on those pages: "In Jeff Blue's book "One Step Closer: From Xero to #1: Becoming Linkin Park", he explained that "Carousel" ("Step Up" for the Step Up page) was originally a Xero song. It was included on a demo CD from November 17, 1998. Tracks included on the CD were: "Rhinestone", "Esaul", "Pictureboard", "Fiends", "Stick N Move", "Carousel", "Slip", "Pointillism" and "Step Up."
  20. You forgot some. There are more unreleased Xero demos. Slip (1998 Xero Demo) Stick N Move (1998 Xero Version) Carousel (1998 Xero Demo) Step Up (1998 Xero Demo)
  21. I guess we'll wait for Monday to arrive to see what happens.
  22. Would they do anything over the weekend? I actually kind of doubt they would do anything like that.
