  1. Question for you guys that have been on the show, how does the 360º stage feels like? There are a lot of moments both mike and emily are with their back turned to you? don't it feel weird?
  2. Well, with all the performances he already have, it's clear LP couldn't go on with just Mike on vocals. They made the correct decision.
  3. It's almost unbelievable how they kept all of this as a secret. I want a behind the scenes on the secrecy of their return. How it was planned, all the NDAs they had to do, the codinames, all the planning. They went to studio with lots of people, they recorded a full album with new members, they built a whole arena tour (with lightning, audiovisual, structure, etc.), they negotiated with venues around the world, they made a video clipe with real and digital capture, they did photoshootings, they did many marketing materials... The lawyers and management did an AMAZING job.
  4. Chester had 20 years with the band, to learn, to improve, to know himself and how to approach songs (songs he helped write, he was a part of them since their construction) Emily is no more than 12 months into this, having to first memorize structures and lyrics of 50 songs. All while recording new stuff and dealing with all this crazy world change for her. Now it's the time when she's starting to really learn the approaches on detail. She will be way more awesome than she already is. It's clear she was trying to heard to scream all the time, to be heavy and raspy all the time. It was the pressure of "no one will be able to replace Chester screams". And now she learned that we enjoy when she sings, and the scream are some spicy touches here and there.
  5. At the end on Papercut, they stood side-by-side, and it felt weird that they didn't hug. I get it was Mike and Chester thing, but i missed that, it felt cold not doing so. And i also understand, she being a woman, hugging and touching has to be way more cautious.
  6. Even Chester wouldn't always do justice to Given Up and some other screamed songs. People are remembering and comparing Emily to studio Chester or best performances Chester. The Faint bridge, for example, he wasn't even properly screaming anymore for years.
  7. Curious, almost all songs lyrics last words are the song title.
  8. They played Breaking The Habit, they played Friendly Fire, they have a new song, they are touring around the world. They're moving on, looking ahead. They will respect the past, sure, but they won't be stuck on it crying or mourning over Chester at every concert. This is Linkin Park. Chester would LOVE they just kept going.
  9. Colin is a good drummer, he has skills. And nice to see him playing guitars too, dude is a complete musician. Lacking the charisma for now, but that's allright. Can improve.
  10. "I don't like that this new Linkin Park has people that are not original members of Linkin Park. So i will listen to a band that no one is or never was a member of Linkin Park and has no relation at all with them." But each with their own, i guess. Hope you have joy, anyways.
  11. don't know what it is about, but the "falling for the promise of the emptiness machine" has the same syllable count, tonic and melody as "standing at the end of the final masquerade".
  12. about the song, i'm not a native speaker so... who or what is "the emptiness machine" the lyrics refer to? also, it's just me or someone else noticed that "falling for the promise of the emptiness machine" has the same melody, tonics and syllable count as "standing at the end of the final masquerade" ?
  13. Last Bring Me The Horizon album had this problem. 6 songs released before (some of them more than 1 year earlier) and when the album dropped it didn't feel refreshing, it felt almost like Papercuts (a compilation with some new things in it). I guess 2 singles before the album is alright to hear, there's another 8 full songs to hear (one is a short intro).
  14. Weird how when he talks about Xero, he mentions everyone by name but Rob. Like, purposely left aside. No interviewers are asking about Rob. Sounds like the band really don't want to talk about it.
  15. Mike said new shows will be around 2h duration. Damn. Hope Emily prepared her voice to that.
  16. It's weird without Brad, his visuals on stage are iconic (his hair and headphones). Linkin Park imagery on stage has changed a lot (half of it). But i can understand, Brad never was a great guitar player with lots of energy. Hope he sticks around and play a few songs here and there. Alex played for the singer LP and now he plays for the band LP. hahhaha that's funny.
  17. Seems like they're coming to Brazil soon. Brazilian fan pages are speculating in. A hard level, saying to save money ASAP.
  18. Did LP had to make a statement about people clamining Chester's death was a murder and a hoax with some deep state political stuff behind it? Not everything needs a statement.
  19. By the interview, sounds like the album will have some heavy takes.
  20. It´s HARD to replace Chester. She was pushing herself to the limit to try to appeal to the scream-side of the fanbase. She'll improve a lot, will find her pace. I hope they replace the livestream on youtube with the proper FULL HD or 4k proshot.
  21. It would just be nice am official goodbye from Rob. A message supporting the guys, or anything like that.
  22. Amazing, love it a lot. Emily fucking rockssss. I think it was too strange for not having Brad there. Half the band was new today. When he's, it will feel way more Linkin Park.
  23. IGYEIH I gave you everything I have (?)
  24. New logo just like the one in the leaked cover. Things are wrapping up.
  25. today is going to be a low productive day.
