  1. It's clear Linkin Park just wants to move on making music without looking back. There's not any clear nod at Chester, or any homage at all (at the concerts, songs, interviews...) They're almost pretending it didn't even happen. Seems like it's working, tho. Of course us, the hardcore fans, would expect more materials connected to Chester somehow, paying homages and such. But they have the right to move on like they're doing.
  2. Two Faced is everything the mainstream expects Linkin Park to be. If this song doesn't blow up, i don't know what will
  3. What's the piano bit played the last few seconds?
  4. More Brazil, please! we need more time to buy plane tickets, book hotels and such. Those two were too last minute. Like, 5 smaller arenas shows around all country would be awesome (Brazil is as big as USA or ocidental europe)
  5. Am on the third listen now, there's at least 5 very very memorable songs. Instant classics. The album as a piece feels a little bit without personality because of it's diversity. MTM and LT were very diverse and had a more clear identity. (Sorry for the double post, didn't even realize i did it)
  6. Cut The Bridge pre-chorus Emily sounds like Upsahl from Happy Endings. The sound itself brings me back a little bit to Happy Endings, don't know why.
  7. Just unbelievable to think that this is a real thread. 3 months ago it seemed so far away, almost impossible. Thanks for coming back, Linkin Park!
  8. Wait for the studio version, man.
  9. Weird how it was done with an 3d printed OLD LP logo. All those old logos cool pictures are basically useless now. Seems like the new logo came way later in the process. As a designer, i would say the visuals got so "fluid" and "smooth" that the old logo with sharp edges didn't fit the concept. So the new logo is a natural consequence of those pictures.
  10. Don't you guys feel Emily too shy, like she's restraining herself performance-wise. Not much facial expressions, not moving around. In Dead Sara her stage presence was insane. Was she nervous, maybe? Or this was briefed for this presentation, as not trying to take the spotlight from the event itself.
  11. Over Each Other is so under-advertised. Hope it gets some attention.
  12. So, it kind explains the theory of why so many writers in each song. The songs were worked a lot, many times, by many different people. So, the final version might have tiny vestiges of something other collaborator did.
  13. Guess LP will get in the trend of releasing new stuff each 6 months tops. Singles, eps, remixes... not necessarily full lenghts.
  14. There's a sound like a clock ticking. That's a good teach, it gives some tension, some urgency.
  15. Toronto. The persona from the account is from Toronto. It's on the bio.
  16. Yeah, this comeback cycle is the whole Linkin Park album cycle experience. Trolling, countdowns, big reveals, new songs, new heavy songs, new videos, new collabs with games, concerts, tour, ARGS... Damn, we could've never guessed and wished all of that! It's so wholesome.
  17. I'd say they'll be in a break for LP10. LP9 might feels like 2026.
  18. LP is a trendy band. They follow the music business, and right now we live times that bands keep releasing singles and eps. Bet they would keep that, probably more songs released in 2025. And a full lenght every 2 year.
  19. That interview was awful. Brad gave zero fucks.
  20. My guess is that Mike and Brad had sessions with many musicians since 2019, not necessarily for Linkin Park. And they created some seeds/demos. When the band evolved to what it is now and they worked on those seeds for the album, all those musicians have to be credited too.
  21. That's an unpopular take. Most people around here think OML Live was top 5 bad decision in their career.
  22. Very cool seeing more of Emily's personality. They are feeling a little too professional in the backstage, and LPTV was a lot about goofing around. Guess it'll loosen up as time goes by.
  23. Mike commented on his stories that the band somehow didn't had footage of that part and used fan footage.
  24. The investment on the 360 stage was probably millionaire. I doubt they'll leave for it and never use it again. Next year we'll see more of it.
  25. That's absurd. I bet if we had 2 or 3 more 20k venues, in different regions of Brazil, they would sold out easily too.
