I agree, i mean it's not terrible, but i believe he only got to a point in the mix and didn't finish it. That's what it sounds like because the rest of Meteora sounds amazing. It's like they decided to cut the track mid mix down because they started to really hear the album come together sonically and at this point they needed to cut some tracks.

He pushed as far as he could go, go easy on him.

I also remember the title ''Painted Me Wrong'' on a sticky note during OML sessions, so I wonder how many finished OML songs didn't make the cut aside from ''Friendly Fire''. I bet it's going to be this song, that's my guess! And probabaly as a single like new divide as someone mentioned previously.

I personally loved every second of this cover. I love the sound of your voice, I think it's very interesting and unique and I enjoy the chorus a lot. Mixing is great. Your accent doesn't bother me one bit. Very Solid cover.
