https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0GT5pqFonQ Damn...the hell is going on with him. Way too much energy

Since Mike is touring with some supporting staff (especially Matt as his vocal/guitar/keyboard support), I would like to revisit this thread.
I guess we can all agree that Mike's vocal performances has been getting better and better from each show (Look Castle of Glass) and that has something to do with not having to everything on stage.
I feel like this is one of the better solutions for a possible future of LP and wether it's Matt or Jon - LP definitely has a better chance of going back on stage while having an additional vocalist in the background, who can free Mike from doing everything.
-
I like how Mike gives both Dan and Matt the whole stage and play Running From My Shadow completely alone, which results in the end of the show. This is a sign of respect for me if you play as "Mike Shinoda" and you let your supporting staff play alone on such a big stage. Props!

awesome show and awesome set
and honestly, Matt's backing vocals are on point!
I feel like if LP performs in the furture, they need another guys who is used to sing and can help Mike with some backing vocal's. I'm not sure if the other 4 can handle some backing vocals, but you see how much better Mike sounds if he hasn't had to do everything
Whatsoever, Mike is getting better and better and as I said earlier the stream quality was on point.
-
Aaaand the quality of this stream is on point !
-
Nobody's talking about Step Up? I mean, he can do it alone and its quite a heavy song with some heavy rapping. I would like to see him performing it again after years
-
What a setlist...damn, I hope he uses this one for the upcoming Europe shows!
-
Fuck...this song with Chester Rock N' Roll voice....I hope the family give it a "yes" and it's going to be released at some point
-
It looks like Crossing A Line made it into the setlist based of off Mike's last Instagram story. I don't know if he had it on "paper" the last two show and just didn't play it or he really played it at this show and there were other reasons for the abstinence of Crossing A Line
-
- 'Faint' came after 'Petrified.' Inspired by the fans singing in Beijing, Mike wanted to include that in the show somehow
That will be interesting to find out how he transfer this song into the live set without having Chester and maybe not using a pitched voice like he is using it on Papercut

Its pretty disheartening how many people in the comments on Facebook for the show in my city didnt even know that Mike had an album at all. A lot of comments asking if this is Fort Minor. A lot of people seemingly surprised at the news that a Mike Shinoda album even exists, let alone a tour. Not to mention the comments suggesting that this tour is confirmation that LP is done forever. Its amazing how many people comment these absurd things before doing even 5 minutes of Googling this stuff.
That’s really troubling to hear but sad at the same time. Those people definitely follow LP on Facebook and how many times did they post stuff about Mike??
Those people are so impertinent...before writing a dumb comment you should ask yourself why Mike is on tour maybe Google it

Roads sounds massive live. Really good. Hope to see it with LP someday.
Shocked LP never played this one.
Quite a lot of "Ohh's" - just kidding. I really like Mike's voice on this one.
-
Running For My Shadow sounds so good with the added drums and guitar....on fire
-
So roughly one and half hour until the show starts

I feel like the LA and NYC venues might be too small. 3400 NYC and 3700 LA.
We have to wait and see how the pre-sale goes. If it sells too quick, than we might see a different venue or another show being added.
-
Luckily a guitarist. Looking forward to see RFMS live. And live drumming on PT songs? I’ll take it any day.
I guess he took random musicians so no one will say that he choose well known musicians in order to sell more Tickets

-
I just hope that he adds a guitarist and a drummer. I liked the guitar on Runninf From My Shadow at LoveLoud. It feels way better than hearing the guitar from the playback
-
I hope he chooses a guitarist for his upcoming shows in Asia. Running From My Shadow sounds more powerfull with a real guitar in the background.
-
Could John Green be a live band member?
seen theoretically, we already know him, right? And Mike said that it'll be someone we don't know and I guess that John is not a stranger for the LP community (mayber for the casual fans, but a large amount of people know him)
-
More German shows please! Seriously though, this one is too far away for me.
How long would it take for you to drive to Cologne?

Yeah I definitely agree, I hit Rock Bottom in October/Early November, around the time of the Bowl show and honestly didn't give a shit at the time whether I lived or died.
I thought I was going to hit rock bottom in January... each month was a little worse than the previous one from July to August to September to October (the show was a great time but I had to get out of LA immediately the next day... really in a bad place mentally/emotionally).
Somehow, alot of people have problems in these months. I just talked to someone from my school and we both agreed that the months of October and November, sometimes December are the worst every year. Ever since I had my worst year in school ( I received some bad exams in November, December) I'm quite scared of what the fall gives me. Last year I said: "I hope I'will survive this fall in school". Cause if my school kind of works and is not too bad then my mood is back too.
And to the album. There are many songs I like, especially Lift Off, Hold It Together and I.O.U.
I'm happy to have the opportunity to see him live
-
Man..the Sorry For Now verse is better than the original in my opinion
-
Can we expect more songs off PT? Something like Hold It Together, Can't Hear You Now
