That's a pretty awesome video. Look at Elias in the back with the hat and bandana. Haha. I like how Julien-K members are just down to earth and fun, it seems like that's missing from LP nowadays. LP needs to remember to just goof off and have fun once in a while! They always seem so serious and mature but they used to be really funny like this only a couple years ago...hmm.

Does anybody think we'll get 100 Degrees, Bloc Party, Respect 4 Grandma and All Night in regular studio form, not remixed? I think those are some of the best FM songs actually. 100 Degrees is like the best song Mike has ever done in my opinion.
-
I think we should all stop bitching about if FM or DBS are better, can't we all just enjoy everything?
-
Can somebody rip the FLV for this video? Or can someone teach me how to do it? I like the save all the LPTV vids...
-
I think it will be Mike that remixes the song. Pretty cool, I'll give it a listen once it comes out.

I don't disagree with them really. Fort Minor instrumentally was amazing, but I wasn't exactly 'blown away' by the rapping or lyrics. I think Mike is EXTREMELY talented musically, he does the most for LP also in that aspect. I think he is a good rapper and vocalist too, but he definitely is no way near as good as Chester vocally (hence why Chester is the million of dollars 2 grammy award winning lead fucking singer) but he still is extremely talented. I've found that anytime anybody bashes anything about FM you automatically disagree. I honestly don't think the song playing in the background is Let Down...it doesn't really sound like it. It sounds amazing though, really emotional sounding. I'm thinking more along the lines of 'Give Me Your Name' or 'Inside Of Me'.

It's pretty cool. Has that remix ever been released anywhere before?

Can somebody rip the FLV?

I generally hate LPU chats, I've been participating in them since 2005 and I've come to hate them because they always let stupid questions through and not the good questions. Mike is a different story though, he is great with the chats. I hope somebody's question about the b-sides get passed because it's kind of ridiculous that we haven't heard any after all this time.

Nice, I have 3 copies of We Major. I asked Mike at the meet and greet in Boston if he had any and he gave me 3 so I was pretty happy.

The way I look at it is just because some asshole thinks the lyrics to CBI suck doesn't mean that they do. Who cares what they think? If I like the lyrics then I do, just because some idiot who probably doesn't even write songs or isn't in a band themselves thinks they suck doesn't mean they do.

I guess it's just the Chester fan coming out in me. Mike does write a lot of really good lyrics, fuck, I thought Minutes To Midnight as a whole lyrically was amazing and the best work the band has ever done. I guess the songs on the FM album that were cringe worthy to me were Petrified, Where'd You Go, There They Go and some of Believe Me. I don't think SOB were talented writers at all so that didn't really help for me. I'm not saying you guys are wrong, I just think that both Mike and Chester are talented in their own different ways, that's why together, they make the best band in the world, LP.

Mike writes a lot of really bad lyrics too. You always bash Chester. I mean...a lot of the lyrics on the FM albums were cringe worthy IMO.

Similar to the PR08 band rankings thread, rate the PR07 bands! I'm not going to rank in order, I'm just gonna say what I thought about each band. I'm not going to include LP because obviously they were my favorite act, and I have only one word on the performances I saw from them at PR07: amazing. My Chemical Romance: I thought they were really amazing, they put a really energetic and fun show. I saw them a few months before PR07 at Bamboozle and they were equally as awesome. I'd say my favorite performance from PR was 'Mama.' Taking Back Sunday: I thought they were pretty good live, but I'm not really a big fan of their music to be honest. I also saw them at Bamboozle and I thought they played better there actually. I'd say my favorite performance from PR was 'What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost.' HIM: I like their studio stuff a lot, it's really dark and moody and that's what I like about it. I didn't really watch their whole set but I remember him chain smoking the whole time. Good band though. Placebo: I thought it was really cool to see them on PR and I thought they performed really well. They were very appreciative of Linkin Park and the fans which was cool. Julien-K: Sadly, I only got to see Julien-K once out of the three PR shows that I went to, and that was at Mansfield and we had seats, which sucked. I liked their set, of coarse they were awesome. My favorite performance from PR was 'Someday Soon.' Mindless Self Indulgence: I thought they were really amazing and fun live. They performed really well and played an awesome set, they were probably my favorite act on PR next to LP. Jimmy was really funny in Syracuse because he was bashing Hilary Duff. Saosin: I like the moodiness in their music and I thought the lead vocalist had a really strong and good voice. I haven't heard anything from them since PR though, what happened to them? The Bled: I'm not much intro screamo but I thought they were pretty awesome. Everyone was moshing and they were fun to watch. Styles Of Beyond: They were awesome, especially since Mike came out for Remember The Name and Second To None. They also played a song called 'Kick Me Out' which I still remember to this day because it was really good. I also brought my 2000 Fold and Megadef CD's for them to sign and they thought it was really awesome. Madina Lake: Actually, scratch MSI as being my second favorite band on this tour, Madina Lake was. I have always loved their music, way before PR, and I've since seen them 3 more times, they're really amazing and nice and they love their fans to death, even more than LP does I would say. They played an awesome set, and Nathan actually was walking around before PR started and said hi and hung out with me for a few minutes.

Chester already has answered about the idea of the scream. When the show from Webster's Hall was in theaters, there was an exclusive making of MTM that's like the other version and better version of the DVD and he and Mike explained that it wasn't intentional, but one time he kept screaming and they just went with it. He was like I could have went longer.
-
You should, I didn't think about that. Do you think he get touchy about the subject though?
-
I think Barack Your World was better than the whole mmm...cookies album itself. Anyone remember that song? Haha.
-
Don't use this question, but if you wanted, you can. ''What song by Linkin Park do you say mean's the most to you lyrically?''
-
It definitely will not be out by Spring 2010, I can almost assure you that. Especially now that DBS is coming out in mid October, there's also going to be a DBS tour as well, and we all know how slow LP is with making albums. Anyways, what's with the 2:00 LPTV episodes lately? We used to get like 9 minute episodes that were awesome and funny. The new ones have been really boring and usually consisting of one or two band members.

I love Crawl Back In, Fire and My Suffering all equally, but I do think LP should not have had them come out as an encore on this tour. Maybe at one show in Europe or something, but not as much as they did. Especially at Sonisphere since Chester was saying they were aiming to be the best live band in the world. I don't think this was personally a good time for DBS to come out to be honest. I think early 2009-spring 2009 would have been a perfect time, get it all settled with before the LP tour that way after the tour LP could put all their time and effort into the new album. The middle of October is too late for DBS to come out. I feel like I've been waiting for so long now that I don't even care about the album anymore. Why hasn't the album like leaked or anything yet? I mean, I highly doubt that Chester is expecting DBS to sell loads of copies so it should be leaked or something by now, I mean, fuck, we've been waiting since what like late 2004 or something?

It was fun getting rips and updates this Summer, I enjoyed it. I think the new POA intro is awesome, same as the new New Divide intro and new BTH intro. I also loved DBS, we finally got to hear My Suffering in HQ as well as Fire, awesome shit. RIP 2009 tour!

I was front row for the show in Manchester, NH 2008 and during FTI, during the ''I won't waste myself on you'' part, he actually dropped the mic onto the crowd and they didn't edit vocals in from another show or anything, I was happy they didn't. Chester got pissed off at the security cuz they didn't hand it to him fast enough, when they gave it back he immediately started screaming again, listen to it and check it out.
