  1. A date in Germany is a good indicator for a European tour, of course they wouldn't tour Germany only at this point. If it turns out to be true they will play in other European countries, the question is as always which other ones.

Probably concerts in UK and Russia will be also announced. It's their second and third "favorite" countries in Europe.

  2. I think Linkin Park could easily play shows in Latin America and sell relatively well. Also, I'd say rock is pretty popular in Brazil/South America right now - Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and Biffy Clyro are all touring there right now, and those three are probably some of the most popular rock bands currently touring. Dream Theater also played a few shows earlier this month.

Hate to bring this up, because I know Princess JZE can't handle it, but 30STM is doing an extensive tour of South America/Latin America. Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Panama. If THEY can play in all these countries I don't see why LP couldn't. MARS even added a second date in Rio de Janeiro because the show they're playing today sold sold out. If MARS can sell out Sao Paulo (Espaço das Americas) and Rio (Fundicao Progresso) I think rock is still very much live in Brazil. This show being almost sold out is another throw at that.

Maybe, I don't know. It's like you said, a lot of bands do that. Next year, Foo Fighters will be touring in 4 cities in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia. Pearl Jam also always do that. I really don't know why LP don't, because those band that we said are more expensive than LP.
They are always playing in Brazil but they forgot the rest of the continent.
Linkin Park concerts in South America: 11
Linkin Park concerts in Brazil: 8
Linkin Park concerts in Argentina: 2
Linkin Park concerts in Chile: 1
But one thing I can tell you, Mexico should not be part of a South American Tour because it's too far away from here. Mexico should be included on futures North American Tours.

Is there any official webcast?? Because i found just "unofficial" webcast MultishowTV.

The webcast from Multishow is the official one. :D They will be webcasting the concert on their website. Link: http://multishow.globo.com/especiais/circuito-banco-do-brasil/

  3.

According to your signature you still have one concert this year which is awesome! which song are you looking forward to hear?

I still can't believe that the band did not come to my country.. they had an awesome response at World Stage everyone loved them even the non fans who were there just because it was free.

The Mexico City concert sold out even if the price of the tickets were high, the venue divided the floor in 2 sections I got section B which was $140 dollars, the section A was $170 dollars and it sold out... fuck whoever needs to be fucked for the band not coming this year.

Yeah! This gonna be great! I can't wait my concert on Sunday!!! I looking forward to hear POA, With You and Keys To The Kingdom. My dream is to see them playing Forgotten but I think that's will never happen. hahaha
About be a sold out concert, I don't know if this it means something. Here in Brazil we never had a sold out concert besides Sao Paulo 2004 and Rio 2012 (this concert was at small venue). They are not selling too much tickets here. Rock is not too popular here in Brazil as was some years ago. Now if a rock band wants to me more popular here, they must play at Rock in Rio. It sucks. But even with all that, they are always coming back. Maybe they don't usually go to other places in Latin America due logistics problems. Mexico and Brazil have almost economy "power", so maybe this is the reason. I think that we'll never know.

Couldn't agree more. Papercut needs to be played in full. It is their best live song in the set in my opinion. Every time is a pain for me to listen to it shortened.

    Agree

  4.

Dude i'm so jealous about you getting LP again, I will drink a beer in your honor tomorrow while watching the webcast have a blast!

Tomorrow I'll be drinking a beer just like you. hahaha
I won't be in Belo Horizonte tomorrow, only in Brasilia on Sunday. I won't be able to attend this concert for personal reasons. It's the second LP concert that I lost because of that even after I bought concert and plane tickets. The first one was in Sao Paulo 2012.
I'm sure that LP will be back to Mexico very soon. The Argentine economy is not so good, so the Brazilian promoters are looking for Chilean and Mexican executives to share expenditures and dates in Latin America.
  5.

Mmmmm they have never played for 1h and 50 min.. all their sets are 90 minutes

Yeah, I think you're right but I saying what Chester said.

"Terra - About the tour, the shows are quite long, right? Something like 28 songs in the set, this is something that you will bring to Brazil, even playing in a festival?
Chester - Yes, I think the only change we'll make is about the time, because there is a time constraint. So if we can not play for 1h45 or 1h50, we play a maximum of 1h20, for example, and take off 30 minutes of the set. But yeah, we're playing 28 songs. I mean ... it has everything (laughs), basically everything is there."
  6. Didn't they play a soccer stadium in Poland? And another one in 2012 too in Europe? Or is that not the same thing? Sorry, I don't know anything about the world cup but I do know the LP venues, lol.

World Cup is the most important soccer competition.
Yeah, LP played in many different stadiums during their carrer, including in Brazil in 2004, but it's like Skipees said, the first time at World Cup stadium was in the USA in 2003, then in 2012 in South Africa and now in Belo Horizonte and Brasilia.
Poland never hosted a World Cup.
  7. As much as you might like LP, they will forever be opening for Metallica if they are ever billed on the same day of a festival. They've done it quite a few times since 2003, haha.

This is interesting. Metallica, LP and Deftones. Dream come true for a festival. And the USA crowds will be dead and not give a shit as usual (phones in the air all the time, etc). This makes it even worse that it's in Vegas because the crowds there are even more lackluster than usual. Put this in Europe or South America and the place would explode.

You're right. Go to YouTube and watch Slipknot and System Of A Down at Rock in Rio 2011. The Linkin Park concerts in Lisbon were amazing too.

  8. I'm so proud to see that the biggest music festival is from Brazil. People from US, you should get prepare to see what Rock in Rio represents, it's one of the most amazing experience that you can have... It's gonna be insane with LP.

I still waiting them play at the real Rock in Rio, here in Rio.

Maybe I will attend this concert. I will see if is possible to me to travel to Las Vegas just for this show.

  9. As with anything involving South America, my attitude is "not believing it until the band announces it themselves." For every legitimate concert promoter down there, there are about 15 scam artists who try to sell tickets to non-existent concerts. The quality of journalism isn't the greatest either, so regardless of how big the newspaper reporting it is, the amount of fact-checking they did before publishing the story is questionable.

You do not live here so I don't think that you are the best person to talk about our journalism

I dont know if this website is trustable, but he's saying that the line up of Lolla Argentina has leaked and Linkin Park isnt on the lineup.

In the past years, the lineups of the 3 South American festivals has been very similar, with only some small changes. So according to this leaked photo, the possible lineup for the three festivals would include Coldplay, Jack White, Robert Plant, Pharrell Williams, Kraftwerk, Kasabian, Lana del Rey, Lilly Allen, Interpol, M.I.A., Weezer, James Blake, Portishead, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Foster the People, Wild Beasts, Bastille, The Kooks, La Roux, and more. See the leaked picture below.

    http://indscene.net/2014/09/26/breaking-lollapalooza-argentina-lineup-leaked/

Similar but not the same. The are a lot of artists who played in one country and not in the other, like Jane's Addiction at Lollapalooza Brazil 2012, for exemple. Also, we don't know if this lineup it is true (like this new) because probably Coldplay will be playing solo concerts in Brazil.
The last two links are just blogs, the first two are trustable (the first one is one of the most important pages in Latin America).
The journalist who wrote the note on Popland is the same person who confirmed Linkin Park at Circuito Banco do Brasil in the middle of the year, so I think that we can trust him .

None of the sources mentioned they are going to Arg or Chile. The rumours is only about Sao Paulo!

Yeah, you're right but I think that I read something about it in somewhere. (maybe they edited the post, I don't know).

  10. I think this is possible, for sure. The band themselves have said they want to tour as much as possible on this record, so I imagine they will tour until the end of 2015 and write a new album in 2016, so on and so forth. Cool.

I was expecting them at Rock in Rio 2015. Lollapalooza has an indie music tradition and we all know that's not the Linkin Park style.
