  1. Very cool that they’re releasing a video of practically every show from this year. It would be interesting to keep doing this, but it might be impossible for next year’s tour with such a huge number of shows. At least they could do it for this year’s shows.

  2. Incredible how a festival that grabbed worldwide attention because of its lineup managed to get canceled just weeks after its announcement. But considering the ticket prices, it's no surprise.

With the price of a ticket, you could buy a PlayStation 5. 😅

No matter what they say at the show, Mike replied to us on Twitter about using both nights. And wearing the same clothes both nights mean they can use shots from both nights in the live release. Think this just means the 15th is the base of it all and the 16th is for supplemental/extra stuff if they happen to capture a better angle of something and want to sub it in, they can - etc.

Thank you for the information. It was exactly what I believed would happen. It didn’t make any sense not to use the images from the 16th for something, especially if they wore the same outfits for both shows.

I just shared what I heard from Adam that day, but I didn’t really believe it either. 🤣

Really? What a shame, we could have had a few more bonus tracks. I don't understand why, they like to cover up the fuck ups with footage from other nights.

Anyway, I hope they don't cut any songs for the official BR/DVD!

    Yes, unfortunately.
Even so, I’m not sure if he was telling the truth. It doesn’t make sense for the entire band to be wearing the same clothes from the night before. Maybe they’ll use a few small takes from the 16th during the editing.

It’s a shame because Points of Authority and A Place For My Head from the second show could have been used as bonus tracks.

If this turns out to be true, I think it’s a waste because the show on the 16th was much better than the one on the 15th, and that’s an almost unanimous opinion among those who attended both shows.

  5. The production of this video is incredible, perhaps the best we've ever seen from the band.
This video of the full show must be amazing!

Just one detail: at the show on the 16th, I talked to Adam, and he assured me that no content from the show on the 16th would be recorded for the documentary or used in any other way. I also spoke with a photographer working for Warner, and he assured me of the same.
This information makes sense since much of the recording equipment wasn’t present on the 16th, such as the drone.
However, the fact that the band wore the same outfits suggests otherwise. I don't know what is true.

I’m also curious to know if Multishow was involved in the production in any way, as they broadcasted the show live in Brazil. Perhaps they filmed a base version that the band will enhance with new takes and mixing.

Either way, I’m really excited for this concert to be released in such quality and to watch it in theaters. I hope the band ends up releasing a Blu-ray later on.

You dont see Muse or Green Day really putting their touring musicians on the spot. Alex is a live performer, not a member of the band. I dont think he is really sad about it, he is doing the fun part of being in a rock band, and getting good money for it.

I'm not saying the band is doing anything wrong or that anyone is upset with the situation. Honestly, I wish I were in Alex's position. 🤣

What I said is about how I feel, not about how things should be.

  7. If we haven’t seen Brad performing at any of this year’s shows, he definitely won’t show up next year, when there will be even more dates. Maybe he’ll end up appearing to play a song or two at some show the band might do in Los Angeles. The thing is, with each passing year, Brad gets older, and the chances of them coming back decrease more and more.

Honestly, the fact that the lead guitarist of a rock band isn’t touring is still strange to me. I love Brad, but I think his absence is being felt more than I initially thought.

For live performances, I think he’s deeply missed. I love Alex, but I agree that some songs do sound different during the shows, which doesn’t mean they’re bad.

What really bothers me is that during the shows, the band treats Alex as if he’s the guitarist of the band. In interviews during the tour, he doesn’t even show up and is rarely mentioned. It’s as if he’s not really there.

If they’re going to have a replacement guitarist for the live shows and not give him proper recognition, I think they should put someone to play backstage, just like they did in some 2014 shows when Brad couldn’t perform.

be thankful you aren't the one who has to watch all of them and add the one snippet of actual new information to the Linkinpedia pages :P

That's exactly why we should be super grateful for the work you're doing for Linkinpedia.

When I used to work on fan sites here in Brazil, I already did this type of work, compiling and trying to translate the content of videos into Portuguese. It ended up being a somewhat similar task, but back then, the videos were significantly shorter.

Now, I believe that with AI, this job of identifying points of new information has become a bit easier, hasn’t it? You can now ask AI to filter the topics of the interview by the video playback time and watch only what seems to be new information.

  9. I'll be completely honest. I can't stand these 40-minute to 1-hour interviews and podcasts anymore, where the interviewers ask the same things the band has already answered for someone else. 😅

I know this is the trend now, but it gets so exhausting...

Hard to say and also hard to compare. Music bidnezz a lot harder than it used to be. They made so much money in early '00s, and don't forget that the only 21st century album that's sold a lot more copies than Hybrid Theory is Adele's most successful album! Anyway, everything's more expensive now, and anyone you interface with in the industry wants larger cuts now, including the venues wanting more of the band merch cut etc...

Yes, it's complicated to say. I think that in the early 2000s, much of the artists' income came from CD sales. With the decline in physical sales, live performances became the main source of revenue. This new way of earning through shows, along with the incredible amount of merchandise and brand licensing, indicates a cash flow they had never seen before.

    Of course, all just speculation.

  11. I could be completely wrong, but this must be the most profitable period in the band’s history. The number of variations of the album, the commercial success of the new songs, and the amount of merch for each of the shows seem to reflect that.

Not to mention the store they opened in São Paulo on the day From Zero was released it had a line stretching three blocks full of people eager to spend money!

    Watching this today.

I was literally next to the person who recorded this video.

I went to both concerts in São Paulo, in different sections (on the 15th, in the Lower Seat - Cadeira Inferior in portuguese; on the 16th, in the LPU Pit) and I want to share some information.

First about recording for the documentary: I think it's a possible idea for the band to use both shows, but it's important to point out the differences between the two days (apart from the setlist).

The crane camera used for the 15th was removed for the 16th. Check the photos below. Also, my perception from being in the Pit is that the drone wasn't used on the second day. These two elements were used extensively in the footage on the 15th, which was aired on YouTube, Multishow and Globoplay.

    Photo 1 - 15th
    Photo 2 - 16th

Bleed it Out is a very particular case in terms of recording, and I'm curious to know how they'll decide which day to use (if the recordings are restricted to the São Paulo shows) or how to unify them. For one reason only: Mr. Hahn.

On the 15th he carried a big camera. My impression from being at the show and then watching the Multishow recording afterwards was his camera wasn't broadcast on the recording or on the screens during the concert. But that changed completely at the second show: Mr. Hahn carried a smaller camera and his recording was broadcasted on the screens. And Emily took the camera out of Mr. Hahn's hands and ended up filming everything. And it was great to follow what the camera was capturing! Just crazy! Check the footages below:

    BIO - 15th
    BIO - 16th

On the subject of the drone: it was used a lot on the 15th inside the stadium. And, from what I saw later on social media and in the recording, it was also used outside the stadium. All, from what I saw, with legal authorization to do so.

On the 16th, however, it seemed to me that a drone tried to fly over the stadium. But someone from the production team, using some kind of light, signaled for it to go away (or to try to identify what it was). I noticed this because I was in the pit and someone pointed a green light up into the air. This happened in the very first few songs.

    About the concert:

    - Collin's guitar didn't work at the beginning of When They Come For Me. He walked across the stage, went backstage and then returned with the guitar working properly.

    - The production team tried to set up the structure for Lost, Breaking the Habit and What I've Done (as mentioned on the Linkinpedia page). But the team ran into problems: they checked the keyboard keys several times to see if the sound was working, under the keyboard, on the catwalk and, finally, under the stairs that connected the stage to the catwalk. Finally, after no success, they removed the entire structure to the backstage area and, seconds later, Mike walked over to the keyboard on the main stage to continue.

    - I had the impression that Mr. Hahn and Mike were looking at each other and joking around just before Numb. And that Mr. Hahn started the samples a little earlier than Mike expected.

    About LPU and LPU Pit:

    - I loved the experience of entering early and meeting Adam and Lorenzo quickly. Both very friendly.

    - As soon as we got inside and headed for the pit, Adam showed up to give us the Linkin Park logo sticker in the colors of Brazil. At first he handed them out one by one: then he handed over a packet of stickers and told us to share them, so that each of us had to take a sticker.

    - The atmosphere in the pit was very good for meeting people, talking and organizing ourselves. For example, if someone needed to leave to get something to eat or go to the toilet, the person didn't lose the “seat” he or she had gotten when entering. We entered the Pit about 5 hours and 50 minutes before the concert. Even though we had a privileged position shared by only a few people, some fans still rushed to get the best position next to the railing.

    - And finally the biggest surprise for us was when Collin showed up to say hello and take photos. This was about 3 hours before the start of the concert and he surprised everyone. He walked around patiently greeting those in front of the stage (LPU Pit and Pista Premium).

Good to see you here, my friend. I agree with everything you said.

  13. Well, now that the shows in Brazil have ended, I can share my thoughts. I attended four shows this year: Los Angeles (Kia Forum), Bogotá (Coliseo Medplus), and the two in São Paulo (Allianz Parque).

Without comparison, the audience in Brazil was superior in every way. The difference is absolutely surreal. When I arrived in São Paulo, I thought I wouldn’t get as emotional since I had already attended two shows before, but with the crowd singing so loudly, it ended up being the one where I cried the most.

Even though I was in the front row for the second São Paulo show (which also had a better setlist), I was far more emotional during the first one. I think fatigue impacted my experience, even though I had such a great spot.

A serious criticism I’d like to make to the LPU regarding the São Paulo shows: the Early Entry sign-ups for both days were opened on the same day. Anyone who signed up for both had their request for the first day disregarded. While I think this is fair, it should have been communicated beforehand, allowing people to choose which day they’d prefer to attend.

As for the show in Colombia, I’d like to highlight the lack of organization when entering the arena. I didn’t have any issues because I had Early Entry, but all my Brazilian friends who traveled there and didn’t have it faced problems.

They've lifted a few restrictions. I keep with WWE now and then and from what I've seen now they can appear and perform with long sleeves and pants, so I don't think she'll have a problem with fitting in. If anything they might have been booked to make a point of that. All these sports and entertainment events have been made with the hopes of improving the international image of Saudi Arabia.

I'm glad to hear about that. Thank you for the clarification.

I see it right there, right below brazil. I don't think they would have any problem performing, after all WWE goes routinely there. Not surprised they won't say much about it, it doesn't exactly bring positive feedback.

Oh, right! I had looked in December 2025. This year is surprising!

I also didn’t know there were no restrictions.

One thing that makes me curious is how Emily will dress, since every woman has to wear a veil in Saudi Arabia.

  16. 8 minutes ago, linkin_boss said:

Did anyone else noticed they very quietly announced a date in Saudi Arabia for December 12th? It was lumped along with the announcements for 2025 in the website, but its not on the social media posts.

I didn’t see any dates for Saudi Arabia on the official website.

Honestly, I think the band might not even be able to perform there because of economic sanctions.

  17. Besides the music being amazing (let's pretend it's the first time we're hearing it), this is without a doubt my favorite video that Linkin Park has ever released.

It's really easy to see that they were having a lot of fun recording this video.

I wrote that Globo will stream it for free because I read this on LPASSOCIATION

I see. Ok, just a quick update: the Multishow broadcast will be available on Globo's website.

Now, we don’t know if it will be accessible outside of Brazil.

It seems that Multishow's contract covers only Brazilian rights, which is why there will be partial streaming on YouTube for the rest of the world. So, we’ll have to wait and see.

  19. 28 minutes ago, Frank1984 said:

The livestream from GLOBO will even be available for free for people that didn't subscribe

Globo will not broadcast it. Globo is a free-to-air TV channel in Brazil. The ones broadcasting will be Multishow, a subscription TV channel owned by Globo, and Globoplay, Globo’s streaming platform.

Even if it were airing on Globo, it wouldn’t necessarily mean it would be streamed live on their website. In fact, when it does happen, the content is often not available outside of Brazil.

does anyone know please know if we can subscribe to globoplay premium (if its requirred for the show) from Europe? sorry I am lost in googling this

Most likely, subscribers will be able to watch it, even if they are not in Brazil. This platform is widely used by Brazilians living abroad to access Brazilian TV content. It’s worth a try, as the subscription costs less than 2 dollars.

Wouldn’t be too worried about it as she sounded amazing in Paris and in person in Dallas, I bet she bounces back hard for Brazil.

I’m not worried. This is something that goes away automatically when you leave a high-altitude environment.

It was just a comment about how the altitude influenced the performance. For example, in Heavy is the Crown, she had to split the scream into two parts.
