  1.

Europe in September?? That would be an Arena Tour again because weather isn't good enough for a whole outdoor tour... and another arena tour for example in Germany.. i cant really expect^^

An outdoor tour like 2008 or 2011 is more conceivable

Considering the rumors, we don't have more dates for a European Tour if it's not happen in September or November. Maybe June and July? I don't know.

May-June: Rock In Rio USA + ?????? (but not more USA) Maybe they go to Asia/Australia in May and June and these two shows sandwich that? I think these two festival shows will sandwich some type of international tour.

I don't see this happening. Probably they wanna play a lot of concerts in Australia and at least one in New Zealand. Make a "sandwich" with Japan, an important country to the band business, and other Asian countries doesn't look like an interesting idea. It's good to remember that we don't have a big Asian Tour since 2011, only a small one last year.

  2. For me:

    January

    North American Tour

    April

    Asian Tour

    May

    Rock in Rio Las Vegas

    July

    Australian Tour

    September

Rock in Rio + Sao Paulo + Buenos Aires

    September/November

    European Tour

It's gonna be an amazing year, this I can say for sure!

It's good to say that the same journalist who confirmed the last two Linkin Park tours in Brazil and the date of the concert at Rock in Rio Las Vegas, said early this morning that two bands which played in Brazilian festivals in 2014 are in negotiation with Lollapalooza Brazil. Probably LP is one of them. We can almost say it for sure because we have this note from Folha de São Paulo, the most important newspaper in Brazil.
So maybe, we'll have an South American Tour in March with dates at Lollapalooza Argentina, Chile and Brazil, and a European Tour in September.
  3. Wow now this is my kind of festival. LP opening for Metallica, and Deftones the same day. And then Ed Sheeran opening for T Swift, the two top albums of 2014. Damn I really like it.

Great job on calling it Leonardo! You said it from the start that LP wouldn't headline.

Thanks, man! This festival is one of the biggest events of my city so I really know all about it.
I wish you have fun there like I had here in Rio even without LP. It's an amazing festival and I really wanna see if I can attend this one in Vegas. There are special offers to Brazilians on Rock in Rio page including plane tickets and hotel.
You have to choose if you wanna see Metallica or Deftones. Probably Deftones will be playing during the break between LP and Metallica. The stages are too far away and you'll lose part of the show of one of them.

So I thought No Doubt was going to be Pop and that's why LP and Metallica would be different days.

Still think LP is bigger than No Doubt and should be headlining, but May 9th is gonna be sick. Good call Leonardo.

I'm sure they will announce two bands that are bigger than No Doubt for this day. Thanks, dude!

  4. Ostrick probably never realized how interesting his material would be to Linkin Park fans until he released it online in 2006 and likely received an onslaught of YouTube messages inquiring about it. Of course, LPLive tried to get the footage quite a few times over the years and Ostrick wanted not a penny less than $10,000 for his 2.5 hours of footage.

More than 6 dollars for just a second!
Can we buy just one part of the show? I'm able to pay for 5 seconds! hahaha
  5. Ohh...

    2014-CircuitoBancodoBrazil_zpse828f467.p

The second show of the band's short excursion in Brazil is happening in Brasília! The band will be performing as part of Circuito Banco do Brasil, at the Estacionamento do Estádio Mané Garrincha in Brasília. This will be the band's first time performing in the city.

Ohh... Brasilia is not a city, it's a federal district :)

  6. Yeah but who plays on day two then? I think Metallica headlines one day and LP the other day. They didn't announce any other big bands for the rock weekend. Deftones aren't big enough to headline an outdoor festival like this.

They will announce other headliners. I'm sure about it. They always do that. If you don't remember, LP played before Smashing Pumpkins and after Limp Bizkit and Offspring in Lisbon in 2012.
If they can announce this kind of line-up here in Brazil, they will be able to do better a one in the US. It's so expensive to bring international bands to Brazil, differently from United States.

If I looked at the spot where RIR Vegas will be then I don't think they'll have enough room for 2 main stages. I highly doubt LP and Metallica would play the same day. Doesn't make sense from a marketing standpoint.

Rock in Rio has just one main stage: The World Stage. It doesn't matter if it's in Brazil, Portugal, Spain or USA. There is a second one destined to mash-ups.

People, look these Rock in Rio line-ups:
