  1. Hey guys!

I will arrive in Orlando in November 11th and I'm planning to attend the concert in Silver Spring. The best way to get there is flying to Ronald Reagan Airport in Wahsington? Does anybody know?

Is Silver Spring close to Washington? Can I get to venue by Uber?

Does anybody know the ticket prices for this show? I have to pay for LPU again!

  2. Mike loves Pusha T, I’ve heard him say in a lot of interviews that he is a huge fan of him. He’s pretty respected in the rap world, actually. He also was featured on Recharged back in 2013 so he obviously likes working with LP too. But yeah, I don’t think he’s that great personally. He’s ok, I don’t hate his verse.

Don’t get me wrong, the orginal version is pretty good, one of my favorites from OML but Good Goodbye is the only song from the album with rap. We have two verses of rap in the whole album and 50% is from Mike and the other is from Pusha. We lost the opportunity to listen Mike rapping in this record.

  3. I will stay in US just for 10 days and I have some things schealeaded. The only day that I could take off is August 4th. I planned this travel before the official announcement of the tour, I couldn't wait. I was expecting to attend the concert in Tampa but I will come back 1 week earlier.

I will see what I can do...

  4.

Dude, I'd say they have a lot more to worry about than seeing if the show on Sept 7th is still on. just sayin

Don't get me wrong, I'm not worry about the tour. I will not even attend the concert. I'm just concerned about the fans and the band.

    All love to Manchester!

They perform there July 7th and I imagine it will still go ahead as planned. The monsters responsible for these attacks are targeting random arenas, not just Manchester.

    Yeah, I think you're right!

but will Metallica play at the Manchester Arena?

  5. Yesterday we had a terrorist attack at the Machester Arena during Ariana Grande's perfomance. LP has an scheduled date for this venue on September, 7th. Does anybody know if they will still be playing there or the venue is closed due police investigations?

  6. I couldn't agree more with you. It's exactly what I think about all the tours in South America.

Ok, Brazil has 9 concerts and all the other contries together have 6 but without Brazil, probably this number would be something like 1 or 2. I don't know why people are always complaining about that.

Probably one day they will reach India for 1 or 2 concerts there but we need an empty spot on LP's schedule and someone able to pay a lot of money for this exclusive tour.

  7.

Not every fan knows that and it's obvious their reaction towards many brazilian fans always demanding a show on every single pic the band shares on social media.

Yes, they're as loud as maybe Russians or Indians (wich sadly they never got any show there yet, wonder why) and it's one of the reasons I feel ashamed of being from where I live (Spain). In all history we've got 6 shows in total, 2001, wich included 3 concerts when they were touring with Deftones, 2008, 2010 and the upcoming Download Madrid festival one.

Yeah, you're right. I hate when I see someone asking "come back 2 Brazil".
If Brazil was in Europe probably we could get more concerts. In this decade, the band came to South America because of Brazil and took the oportunity to visit other contries. I'm not saying that we are better fans than others in the continet, but we are paying the bill (even we having problems with our economy right now)
About Russia, I don't know... Maybe the reason they don't play there very often is because it's a countrie so hard to schedule a concert due political reasons. I'm probably saying something stupid but it could be the reason.
India... Maybe it has the same problems that Brazil had in the last decade. They can handle a concert but their neighbors don't, so it's not interesting to play only one or two shows there.
I don't think 6 concerts is not enough for Spain. It's almost 1 concert after 3 years waiting since 2000 and Spain is a small countrie and it's easy to reach other places to attend the concert. It's my opinion.
  8.

    We won! (?)

It really was a great show. My second LP concert and experience was better than the first.

Soon the audio of the concert....unless somebody wins us in publishing it.

    Yes, you did! :D

But depends of your point of view. In my opinion, we can't consider São Paulo 2004 as a festival perfomance. I see that show as solo with an opening band, like Rise Against in Chile.

If you see, the same band that played before LP in 2004 was the same that played in São Paulo 2012 and we don't consider that show as festival performance.

There isn't just one champion in this competion, there are 4 countries with amazing crowds in South America!

Movistar arena Isn't that big, its full capacity is around 16.000 people. it was almost sold out so I bet we were around 14.000 people in Chile.

As for Maquinaria 2010, I believe I read in the press that there were around 35.000 to 40.000 people in there. Of course not everybody was on LP stage, some people stayed the whole day in the other main stage or in the side stage.

So Movistar Arena must be at 12th or 13th with the sould out concerts in Rio for 8.500 people in the last positions. If you what you say are correct, Chile 2010 could be tie with São Paulo 2017 in the 3th place! :o

You are right! I edited my post.

  9. I wouldn't say NRL "totally counts" on the album. It was a bonus track, and the song was only ever performed as part of the Bleed it Out bridge outside of rehearsals. Live, it really was nothing more than that.

Agree. If it counts, It's my favorite song!

  10. My favorite track of Minutes To Midnight is In Between. It's so sad that I will never be able to see it performed live again :(

No More Sorrow and Given Up should return to the set but they are not so famous as One Step Closer and Faint and they don't sound like One More Light songs for this tour

  11. So, it's official: Mike said on Instagram that 33.000 people attended the concert in Lima..

According the manegers of Maximus Festival BR, 40.000 attended the concert in São Paulo.

So, about the public "competition" in South America:

    1) São Paulo, Brazil 2004 - 75.000 people (source)

    2) Itu, Brazil 2010 - 50.000 people (source)

    3) São Paulo, Brazil 2017 - 40.000 people (source)

    4) Lima, Peru 2017 - 33.000 people (source)

    5) São Paulo, Brazil 2012 - 27.000 people (source)

I don't know about the numbers of Buenos Aires 2010, 2012 and Santiago 2010, 2017!

But we need to remember one thing: Itu, 2010 and São Paulo 2017 were festivals with another huge bands playing at the same day... (São Paulo 2004 was a festival as well but with only two bands: Linkin Park and a brazilian rock group)

So, let's talk about solo performances (including São Paulo 2004)

    1) São Paulo, Brazil 2004 - 75.000 people

    2) Lima, Peru 2017 - 33.000 people

    3) São Paulo, Brazil 2012 - 27.000 people

If you don't consider São Paulo 2004 as a festival performance:

    1) Lima, Peru 2017 - 33.000 people

    2) São Paulo, Brazil 2012 - 27.000 people

  12. Just to add:
This concert will be fourth in the state of São Paulo and the third in the city of São Paulo. LP played in the small city of Itu in 2010 and I think you forgot to mentioned this concert when you were talking about the past shows in Brazil. :D
One of the highlights for the concert that I will attend is read the previous post for it on LPLive. It's such an amazing job!
For the people who are asking about broadcast or webcast, there's a Brazilian channel called Multishow that always broadcast the biggest concerts in Brazil like they did in 2010, 2012 and 2014. Until now we don't know if they will do the same tomorrow. Maybe some webcast like in Buenos Aires? It's the same festival, c'mon...

COME FASTER, MORE FASTER, EVERY YEAR, EVERY MONTH AND EVERY WEEK.

Seriously though, I don't really get why some Brazilian fans are very loud about them coming to their country, they go pretty much on evey tour cicle.

It wasn't awlays like that. Before the A Thousand Suns Tour, the played in Brazil just one time at the Meteora World Tour and just in one city. Brazil is such a huge country and the fans waited for it too much. In the last decade, Brazil became a better place to do business and that's why the band started to come back every cycle.
It is a culture that started in 2007~2008. Now I think it's a joke and the people who are always saying that are kids.
