Something like that đ

I also thought it was unlikely, but thatâs what many people were saying in the line. I think that if Brad didnât play at LOL or at the Champions League, he probably wonât play anymore. People were definitely talking about it, though. Well-known fans who travel all over the world to attend the shows were speculating about it during the Early Entry.
-
I have a friend at the show and something's going on. The Early Entry has been waiting a long time to get in because the band is doing soundcheck. Brad is on site. They're suspecting he might play something tonight. Looks like Brad is doing soundcheck with them. People in line are suspecting that either he's gonna play or they're gonna play an unreleased song.

The idea isnât that bad, but wouldnât that make them lose market value? When you make a move like that, you signal to the market that thereâs a strong chance that on the eve of a show you might not have your vocalist. I think that ends up lowering the bandâs booking fee, because it makes them seem like a risky asset. At the same time, I think it would be very difficult for a festival to accept that. Imagine the day before Rock am Ring the band informing the producers that only Mike will perform. That would look bad for the band. Not to mention that saying Emily is the one whoâs sick would end up bringing those stupid comments like: âI said she wasnât good enough to replace Chester. She gets sick trying to sing Chesterâs songs.â Until now, there have been two cancellations in a year and a half. If this keeps happening, that risk will become even more evident in the market. They need to reduce the number of shows. There were too many shows in Australia because there was a planning mistake (booking arenas instead of stadiums). Then they got greedy and added more shows. There were also too many shows in Latin America, with very long travel distances between them. The next tour needs to have half the number of shows that the From Zero Tour had.

I know this isnât the main topic, but since people mentioned Rob here, I think itâs interesting to talk about it. Has anyone noticed that Colin is constantly wearing a Music for Relief bandana from 2012, which they gave to some fans at shows back then? Since that project basically ended and itâs something so old, I see it as a quiet tribute from Colin to Rob, since Rob was perhaps the band member most responsible for Music for Relief. IMAGE: About Rob himself, I still think this clash of opinions is mostly the result of his silence. I donât see a problem with him retiring and disappearing. I just think that when the band came back, he should have released a short note explaining that he decided not to continue for personal reasons. That alone would have avoided all this debate. Now weâre going to be stuck with these theories forever.

Itâs funny how With You is a song the band always forgets and later remembers for their setlists. I really think With You will eventually come back, especially now that the shows are longer. It would be perfect to rotate in at some concerts.

The Rising Tied would have enough material for a 20th anniversary box set. But now, besides Mikeâs lack of interest because he wants to promote Linkin Parkâs new phase, I wonder if thereâs any content we still donât know about. We got some Special Editions released in 2023, which seemed like a way to put out those B-sides before Linkin Park came back years later.

Linkin Park Billboard Spotted in Bangalore, India
LeonardoMF93 replied to LPLStaff's topic in Newswire
Before that, Adam had already liked some posts about the photo, which made it clear it was real. I just didnât have time to comment here afterwards. As a lawyer, I can say that for someone to be sued, they have to be located. đ€Ł Anyway, Iâm really happy that Linkin Park is giving attention to a country with such a strong market. What an incredible day! Grammy nominations, a new show in India, Brazilian fans taking photos with Colin and Emily in SĂŁo Paulo... -

I might be wrong, but this artwork hasnât been used by the band yet, right? The other billboards all shared the same artwork, right? This one is different from the others we had seen. Isnât there a chance that it was a fan trying to get the bandâs attention and weâre interpreting it the wrong way? I also find it curious that Lollapalooza didnât sign an exclusivity contract for a band that has been highly wanted in the country for years. Letâs hope itâs a new show for India. -
Itâs unbelievable that a band as popular as LP has only two Grammys. I hope these nominations do them justice, because few songs and albums were talked about as much last year as The Emptiness Machine and From Zero.

Thanks! Itâs really annoying, but unfortunately these things can happen. I just got back to Brazil and Iâm ready for the next two shows! Again, thanks for your kind words.

In recent years, many shows have stopped happening exclusively in Rio and SĂŁo Paulo. In fact, Rio is no longer one of the main cities in Brazil for concerts. As for crime, thatâs a false assumption. For example, according to statistics, Porto Alegre is actually more dangerous than Rio, with a considerably higher homicide rate. At the same time, Rio and Curitiba are basically tied in that regard. Anyway, I donât think it really makes sense to keep discussing crime rates in a Linkin Park forum. I only brought up that information to correct something that was inaccurate.

Iâm really sad. I flew from Calgary to Curitiba on the 3rd, but an old lady felt unwell, and we had to land in Oklahoma. Because of that, I missed my connections and wonât get to the show on time. đ Now I can only go to the ones in SĂŁo Paulo and BrasĂlia.

World Tour 2025, Part 12 [LPTV FROM ZERO: Episode 37]
LeonardoMF93 replied to martinez's topic in Newswire
Second time I show up on an LPTV! đ I appeared at 8:24 in the video holding the Canadian flag, during the transition from the Vancouver to the Seattle footage. Now, who knows, maybe Iâll show up on LPTV at one of the shows in Brazil? đ -
It seemed there were some structural and organizational issues at the place where the show is going to happen. Thatâs why there was some uncertainty about whether the show would go on as planned. Adam had already addressed to reassure fans that the people in charge were aware of the situation and working on it.

Last yearâs show in Colombia was really tough. Besides the technical issues, it was clear that Emily was struggling with the altitude and the lack of oxygen. I hope they donât face the same problems this year, but unfortunately it seems the issues started even before the show began, with the problem involving the venue.

Linkin Park Show in Buenos Aires Airing on Flow TV
LeonardoMF93 replied to LPLStaff's topic in Newswire
It was probably not the bandâs choice. The channel likely made a money offer to broadcast it, and the band accepted. -
Linkin Park Show in Buenos Aires Airing on Flow TV

This is a rumor thatâs been going around on Instagram in the past few weeks, and it finally got confirmed! I wouldnât be surprised if this yearâs show in SĂŁo Paulo also gets broadcast on Brazilian TV. About the 2024 show videos, I think itâs pretty much certain they wonât be released. If the plan was to launch them in theaters in 2025, weâre already getting close to the end of the year with no news, and the shows are starting to feel outdated. Itâs a shame, because those two shows were the best ones out of the six Iâve been to since last year. It was truly a collective catharsis. -
I donât know much about Argentina and Colombia, but Morumbis usually hosts a lot of international concerts. Almost one international show per month, and it always works well (although Allianz Parque is better). About the game, when this happens, SĂŁo Paulo FC usually plays in another stadium. Itâs important to remember that SĂŁo Paulo is one of the most indebted clubs in Brazil and depends a lot on the income from renting Morumbis to cover its costs. I wouldnât be worried about the concert in SĂŁo Paulo. The CBF probably scheduled the game at Morumbis only as a temporary plan, and the location will be adjusted later. Detail: Itâs important to remember that the football season in Brazil runs from January to December, stopping only for about 20 days at the end and beginning of the year. There will always be games throughout the whole year. The Brazilian football calendar is very packed.

Well, after a very exhausting week, I finally have time to write what I thought about these last two shows (not sure if anyone is actually interested in hearing my point of view as well). I took a flight from Brazil to Vancouver and Seattle just to see the last two shows of the tour. In Vancouver, I was right at the barricade, while my girlfriend and I were photographed the entire show since we were the only ones in the arena with a Canadian flag (my girlfriend is Canadian). We even ended up on Mikeâs and Joeâs Instagram. In Seattle, I was up in the stands. Interestingly, I had infinitely more fun at the Seattle show, even though I was further away. The Canadian crowd was really unenthusiastic (and honestly, the American crowd isnât exactly the most energetic either). Seattle also had some light effects I hadnât seen in last yearâs shows. Nobodyâs Listening was also amazing. Completely unexpected. Aside from that, the shows were pretty much what I expected. Nothing too special. Now, time for a well-deserved break until the three shows in Brazil in November!

Honestly, the LPU lost a lot of its importance with the bandâs return. Back then we had M&Gs, chats, exclusive shirts, forums, etc. Now itâs just a way to get ticket presales and Early Entry. Btw, in the past Early Entry was available to all LPU members. Now, at some shows, Early Entry registration ends in seconds. One phenomenal thing they created for the LPU on this tour was the LPU Pit at shows and unbelievably, now thatâs also being sold to non-members. The LPU is terrible. The website is bad. The band didnât want to release more LPU CDs while Chester was still alive. If Iâm not mistaken, the LPUX CD only came out because the community kept complaining. Itâs no surprise that they finally decided to abandon the CD project in this new phase, at the same time theyâre trying to shift some of the attention away from the old lineup and onto the current one.

If confirmed, it would be Linkin Park's first time at Lollapalooza, right? That would be really interesting too.

Last show in Canada before the one Iâm going to in Vancouver! Itâs so close now! This tour has been amazing. Itâs impressive how the band has been getting everything right since their comeback.

2025.08.01 - Boston, Massachusetts (Night Two)
LeonardoMF93 replied to RogueSoul's topic in Newswire
I wanted to share a story I heard about this show. I saw on Instagram that a Brazilian fan who lives in Pennsylvania had an accident and lost his memory in 2022. His wife took him to the Boston show and during In the End, he remembered the song and managed to sing along while crying with emotion. It might be one of the most incredible stories Iâve ever seen related to this band. The power of music is amazing. If anyone wants to watch the video, hereâs the link: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DM3cmrmx2JU/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== -
