To me, the problem isn’t that it’s ugly. The problem is that it doesn’t resemble any design the band has ever used for their products.

Curious to know if the events like the pop-up stores and free food will continue throughout the entire North American tour.

Linkin Park Confirmed for UEFA Champions League Final in Munich
LeonardoMF93 replied to LPLStaff's topic in Newswire
Lenny Kravitz's show last year lasted only six minutes and included just three songs. We should expect something very similar for Linkin Park. They’ll probably play for a maximum of ten minutes and perform three songs. In my opinion, they’re likely to play The Emptiness Machine and Numb, as the first is their current hit and the second is the biggest hit of their career, besides being the one promoted by UEFA. If there’s time for one more, it’ll probably be In The End. -
Inside the Studio for "Cut The Bridge" [LPTV FROM ZERO: Episode 18]
LeonardoMF93 replied to martinez's topic in Newswire
I agree 100%. I’ve personally gotten into several arguments for criticizing the band over a release I didn’t like. Every fan has the right to dislike something and to criticize it always with respect. As for taking fans’ opinions into account during the creative process, that’s what sets apart true artists from hitmakers. Linkin Park practically never cared about what we thought and always followed their own sound. Still, here we are, years later, still talking about them (some of us have been listening since the Hybrid Theory or Meteora days). As for CTB, I really like the song and I think it had the potential to replace BIO as the last song in the setlist. Ending the set with BIO is something I just can’t take anymore! The only problem with CTB is that it’s not as relevant within the discography as BIO is, so it’s hard to imagine it being considered as a show closer. -

Inside the Studio for "Cut The Bridge" [LPTV FROM ZERO: Episode 18]

It's cool that in this episode you can clearly see how it all started with Mike, Phoenix, and Joe, and then how the others gradually got more involved with the project. -
Lies Greed Misery is definitely one of the songs I would most like to see return to the setlist.

Linkin Park Confirmed for UEFA Champions League Final in Munich
LeonardoMF93 replied to LPLStaff's topic in Newswire
I think it’s not very clear what this remix is, but I believe it must be an instrumental version that will be used commercially during the Champions League and might include some parts of the instrumental from Numb. A more traditional remix (with vocals, for example) wouldn’t make sense because it would either have to use Chester’s voice or re-record vocals with Emily and both options are terrible. Exactly! Perfect observation! -

I want to know what this track is. Will it just be an instrumental? We have the audio from the video, but what will the full version be like? As for the performance, this is huge. It's the biggest performance in the band's history. I also want to know if Brad will be there. But he is not in the promo, so I think he won’t. -
Colin Brittain TikTok Live - April 8, 2025: "QWERTY" Speculation

It's very unlikely that Burn It Down will be dropped from the setlist. It's Linkin Park's biggest single since Minutes to Midnight (disregarding From Zero). -
Colin Brittain TikTok Live - April 8, 2025: "QWERTY" Speculation
LeonardoMF93 replied to LPLStaff's topic in Newswire
QWERTY must sound great with Emily’s voice, and the fact that the band gave it so much attention on Papercuts gives hope that it might return to the setlist after all these years. -
If that’s the case, I think it shows even more incompetence from Live Nation for not securing proper contracts with the clubs to guarantee the stadium rentals. I believe there were no confirmed venues with signed contracts for those shows when the official announcement was made. If that had happened, the venues would have been announced along with the dates.
-
First of all: it was very unprofessional of Live Nation to announce dates for cities without securing venues, fail to find those venues, and then have to cancel. Second: It's strange that they didn't consider moving the show to the Praça da Apoteose in Rio (the venue where the Carnaval parades take place), especially since it can hold over 40,000 people, has a very open schedule, and is in a great location. Many major artists have performed there, such as Pearl Jam, Maroon 5, Bon Jovi, Beyoncé, among thousands of others.

I think it's a dream come true for all longtime Linkin Park fans, the amount of live performance videos the band has been releasing. Now, since the album's release, we haven't had any new music videos. Are we not getting any more?

A lot of interesting information. This reminds me of the old LPU chats.

The shirts that are exclusive to each show are unbelievably ugly. They only change the color to match the flags of the countries and commit an atrocity against fashion. 🤣

What a devastating news! I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends during this difficult time. May he rest in peace!

What a cool post! Congratulations, JZLP! I hope you enjoyed the show last night. From what I saw on the internet, it was the best one we've had this year, and it's great to have From the Inside back in the setlist. It almost feels like this song was made for Emily. From the Inside needs to be a permanent song in the setlist!

Linkin Park on Japanese DayDay TV, w/ Live Performance February 10
LeonardoMF93 replied to LPLStaff's topic in Newswire
Commercially speaking, it would be very strange if they didn’t play any songs from From Zero. Maybe we’ll get a different performance of a song from the album. -

Curious to see how the performance will be since only Mike, Emily, and Colin will participate. -
@LPLStaff I just sent an image of the physical ticket for the show in São Paulo on November 15, 2024, by email. This ticket is hard to find because about 90% of the sales were through digital tickets. I got this ticket from a friend for Linkinpedia.

New Limited Edition Posters, Including Signed Posters / 2025 Tour Merch
LeonardoMF93 replied to LPLStaff's topic in Newswire
The idea of the limited posters was brilliant. Last year, they noticed that demand was high, and the quantities were increasing with each show. Now, for some reason, the quantity has decreased again. My biggest criticism is that last year's designs were quite generic, but these from Mexico are absolutely stunning. I just didn't understand one thing: will any LPU member be able to buy the posters (signed or not) even without attending the shows and being in another country? Another question: the posters are numbered, but is the count the same for those sold at the venue and online? Lastly, I just wanted to comment on these exclusive show shirts that only change colors to match the country's flag. These shirts are ridiculously ugly, and the fabric quality is terrible. This Mexico one is so ugly, my God! -
Shows in Mexico are always special! The crowd is always very energetic, which makes watching more interesting. By the way, the 2012 proshot has a really cool performance. I find it curious that the band doesn’t include Mexico in their North American tours. It’s basically like always doing standalone shows in the country. About the setlist, the first show of a tour is always interesting because of possible surprises. Still, I think we won’t have many new things tomorrow. I’m hoping for Good Things Go and maybe an old song. That said, over the year, I think all the songs from From Zero will have their live debut. I know some people here are from Mexico, and I hope they enjoy the shows. This tour is very special, and I hope you all have a great time. I got unlucky. I’ve always wanted to visit Mexico. Even before the band’s return, I bought tickets to Mexico City for the end of this March. If I had booked for two months earlier, I’d be going to these shows too…
