  1. Before that, Adam had already liked some posts about the photo, which made it clear it was real. I just didn’t have time to comment here afterwards. As a lawyer, I can say that for someone to be sued, they have to be located. 🤣 Anyway, I’m really happy that Linkin Park is giving attention to a country with such a strong market. What an incredible day! Grammy nominations, a new show in India, Brazilian fans taking photos with Colin and Emily in São Paulo...
  2. I might be wrong, but this artwork hasn’t been used by the band yet, right? The other billboards all shared the same artwork, right? This one is different from the others we had seen. Isn’t there a chance that it was a fan trying to get the band’s attention and we’re interpreting it the wrong way? I also find it curious that Lollapalooza didn’t sign an exclusivity contract for a band that has been highly wanted in the country for years. Let’s hope it’s a new show for India.
  3. It’s unbelievable that a band as popular as LP has only two Grammys. I hope these nominations do them justice, because few songs and albums were talked about as much last year as The Emptiness Machine and From Zero.
  4. Thanks! It’s really annoying, but unfortunately these things can happen. I just got back to Brazil and I’m ready for the next two shows! Again, thanks for your kind words.
  5. In recent years, many shows have stopped happening exclusively in Rio and São Paulo. In fact, Rio is no longer one of the main cities in Brazil for concerts. As for crime, that’s a false assumption. For example, according to statistics, Porto Alegre is actually more dangerous than Rio, with a considerably higher homicide rate. At the same time, Rio and Curitiba are basically tied in that regard. Anyway, I don’t think it really makes sense to keep discussing crime rates in a Linkin Park forum. I only brought up that information to correct something that was inaccurate.
  6. I’m really sad. I flew from Calgary to Curitiba on the 3rd, but an old lady felt unwell, and we had to land in Oklahoma. Because of that, I missed my connections and won’t get to the show on time. 😔 Now I can only go to the ones in São Paulo and Brasília.
  7. Second time I show up on an LPTV! 😎 I appeared at 8:24 in the video holding the Canadian flag, during the transition from the Vancouver to the Seattle footage. Now, who knows, maybe I’ll show up on LPTV at one of the shows in Brazil? 😛
  8. It seemed there were some structural and organizational issues at the place where the show is going to happen. That’s why there was some uncertainty about whether the show would go on as planned. Adam had already addressed to reassure fans that the people in charge were aware of the situation and working on it.
  9. Last year’s show in Colombia was really tough. Besides the technical issues, it was clear that Emily was struggling with the altitude and the lack of oxygen. I hope they don’t face the same problems this year, but unfortunately it seems the issues started even before the show began, with the problem involving the venue.
  10. It was probably not the band’s choice. The channel likely made a money offer to broadcast it, and the band accepted.
  11. This is a rumor that’s been going around on Instagram in the past few weeks, and it finally got confirmed! I wouldn’t be surprised if this year’s show in São Paulo also gets broadcast on Brazilian TV. About the 2024 show videos, I think it’s pretty much certain they won’t be released. If the plan was to launch them in theaters in 2025, we’re already getting close to the end of the year with no news, and the shows are starting to feel outdated. It’s a shame, because those two shows were the best ones out of the six I’ve been to since last year. It was truly a collective catharsis.
  12. I don’t know much about Argentina and Colombia, but Morumbis usually hosts a lot of international concerts. Almost one international show per month, and it always works well (although Allianz Parque is better). About the game, when this happens, São Paulo FC usually plays in another stadium. It’s important to remember that São Paulo is one of the most indebted clubs in Brazil and depends a lot on the income from renting Morumbis to cover its costs. I wouldn’t be worried about the concert in São Paulo. The CBF probably scheduled the game at Morumbis only as a temporary plan, and the location will be adjusted later. Detail: It’s important to remember that the football season in Brazil runs from January to December, stopping only for about 20 days at the end and beginning of the year. There will always be games throughout the whole year. The Brazilian football calendar is very packed.
  13. Well, after a very exhausting week, I finally have time to write what I thought about these last two shows (not sure if anyone is actually interested in hearing my point of view as well). I took a flight from Brazil to Vancouver and Seattle just to see the last two shows of the tour. In Vancouver, I was right at the barricade, while my girlfriend and I were photographed the entire show since we were the only ones in the arena with a Canadian flag (my girlfriend is Canadian). We even ended up on Mike’s and Joe’s Instagram. In Seattle, I was up in the stands. Interestingly, I had infinitely more fun at the Seattle show, even though I was further away. The Canadian crowd was really unenthusiastic (and honestly, the American crowd isn’t exactly the most energetic either). Seattle also had some light effects I hadn’t seen in last year’s shows. Nobody’s Listening was also amazing. Completely unexpected. Aside from that, the shows were pretty much what I expected. Nothing too special. Now, time for a well-deserved break until the three shows in Brazil in November!
  14. Honestly, the LPU lost a lot of its importance with the band’s return. Back then we had M&Gs, chats, exclusive shirts, forums, etc. Now it’s just a way to get ticket presales and Early Entry. Btw, in the past Early Entry was available to all LPU members. Now, at some shows, Early Entry registration ends in seconds. One phenomenal thing they created for the LPU on this tour was the LPU Pit at shows and unbelievably, now that’s also being sold to non-members. The LPU is terrible. The website is bad. The band didn’t want to release more LPU CDs while Chester was still alive. If I’m not mistaken, the LPUX CD only came out because the community kept complaining. It’s no surprise that they finally decided to abandon the CD project in this new phase, at the same time they’re trying to shift some of the attention away from the old lineup and onto the current one.
  15. If confirmed, it would be Linkin Park's first time at Lollapalooza, right? That would be really interesting too.
  16. Last show in Canada before the one I’m going to in Vancouver! It’s so close now! This tour has been amazing. It’s impressive how the band has been getting everything right since their comeback.
  17. I wanted to share a story I heard about this show. I saw on Instagram that a Brazilian fan who lives in Pennsylvania had an accident and lost his memory in 2022. His wife took him to the Boston show and during In the End, he remembered the song and managed to sing along while crying with emotion. It might be one of the most incredible stories I’ve ever seen related to this band. The power of music is amazing. If anyone wants to watch the video, here’s the link: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DM3cmrmx2JU/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  18. I was completely wrong. 🤣
  19. I think we’ve already reached a point in the tour where we can say that no new songs will be added to the setlist. Still, I believe we have the best selection of songs since the Living Things tour. It’s really nice to know more about the LPU Reserved section, even though I know it changes depending on the arena. What bothers me the most is that you don’t need to be an LPU member to buy a ticket for that section. By the way, does anyone know which version of the From Zero Deluxe vinyl is being sold at the North American shows?
  20. I'm curious how you managed to get tracks that were playing randomly at the pop-up store. Could you share how you got those remixes?
  21. I know the request is about the 2025 shows, but in February I sent an email with a physical ticket from one of the 2024 shows that hasn’t been uploaded to the Live Guide. I’m not sure if you’re interested and just didn’t see the email...
  22. One thing that’s never been clear to me is what Brad actually doesn’t like about touring. Is it the performance itself or the logistics? I understand if he doesn’t want to play with the band at every show, but I was expecting a few special appearances. Couldn’t he have played at the comeback show, the São Paulo show for the documentary, and the Champions League? If he didn’t show up for those three, I think it’s almost impossible that he’ll ever perform with the band again. I hope I’m wrong.
  23. Right now, I’d be really surprised if a song from OML gets played this year or anytime soon. It seems like the band doesn’t really care much for that album, maybe for commercial or emotional reasons. Anyone hoping to hear something from OML will probably have to settle for the occasional performance of Friendly Fire, even though it was originally released on Papercuts.
  24. According to the post, the fans who were already inside the stadium because of the LPU Early Entry were allowed to buy merch.
  25. Since the band is already performing again, the reason for the cancellation doesn’t really matter if they reschedule the show for next year. I just feel bad for the fans who traveled to the concert and had expenses like hotel and transportation that won’t be refunded. I can imagine how frustrated I would be if they cancel the Vancouver or Seattle show after everything I’ve already spent. Another thing I keep thinking about: whoever managed to buy the exclusive shirt from the Bern show is holding a real treasure.
