  1. Pretty much confirms that LP won't tour Australia until 2015. Will be interesting to see if they return to running their own headline shows, particularly since 2015 is probably too soon to return to Soundwave. (https://twitter.com/iamnotshouting/status/463867075950170112)
  2. I've needed to see a couple of shows to fully understand why the setlist is structured as such. A big part of it is due to the LED walls that drop over Rob and Joe's risers; I think I have this right in that they come down during Robot Boy, and are raised during the encore break. Whereas I thought all the interludes were included just to give certain band members a break (except Mike who pretty much does the whole show), the Robot Boy one has a greater importance. Assuming they keep the same stage design for the Carnivores tour, I'd say the set from Robot Boy to Faint will remain exactly as is. The single element that is hampering this setlist is the Ballad Medley. The crowd is being lost here, and then the band is expecting them to sit through Robot Boy interlude (which many wouldn't recognise), and the Joe solo (which many would simply not care for).
  3. Can someone do me a favour and post an online time converter link for the webcast start time? I got two different results when trying to convert myself.
  4. Chester can't even learn the 2nd verse yet Mike needs to learn Rakim's verse.
  5. Show has begun on http://tvfree2.me/sic-radical-online. YouTube is not showing LP.
  6. I mean, those headphones he wears on stage? He's not wearing those because they're monitors. They're like gun headphones so he can't hear anything. Who does that? If it weren't for Pooch revealing this in an LPA interview, this would likely be the big talking point.
  7. *sung to the chords of Burn It Down or A Light That Never Comes* It's our first single from the new album With the pain and lies we've had for so long It's got the same chord progression As all, our other hit songs
  8. Ok, so the standard way to do this is to play in album order. But looking at the track order, I don't think it necessarily translates well to a live environment. Papercut One Step Closer With You Points of Authority Crawling Runaway By Myself In the End A Place for My Head Forgotten Cure for the Itch Pushing Me Away I'm just wondering whether they'll change up the track order to make it feel more like a mini-set. There's plenty of ways you could arrange this, but for example: Papercut Forgotten With You Runaway Points of Authority By Myself Crawling Cure for the Itch Pushing Me Away In the End A Place for My Head One Step Closer
  9. So With You and Runaway would be tied if it wasn't for that one random performance of Runaway in 2007.
  10. Wait until the full song is released, then judge.
  11. Okay, so as part of the news report, Doug keeps saying "Coming up, Linkin Park live at the Sunset Strip Music Festival". Chance of some proshot footage later?
  12. Well considering we had nothing to begin with, enjoy what you can.
  13. Bugger was hoping for another live version of Breaking the Habit.
  14. Same was true for Adelaide (TINFOIL into Faint) - Mike and Joe were doing a slow shuffle during the start. I would assume it has been mentioned that the live version of TINFOIL is different to the album version, but the variations are more so in the piano melody than the string section, so you wouldn't notice the difference simply due to Mike playing along.
  15. Solid show by LP on Saturday. Can I just make a point about how good the live visuals are for the LIVING THINGS songs? Ghost Town Media have done extremely well; the live visuals seem to be their best work out of everything they have produced for ATS/LT. Apart from what Pez said about With You, no other technical dramas as far as I could tell. Audio wasn't great and sounded very tinny. The worst song affected by this was LIES GREED MISERY, where Chester's vocals were basically incomprehensible. It was enjoyable watching the stage being set up, particularly all the cameras for the live video. Anyone know the name of the guy that tests the cameras on stage? Blond with glasses I think.
