leftshoe18 Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Camp Freddy performed some cover songs with Chester in 2006. You can find them on youtube. Here's one of my favorites: Highway to Hell (AC/DC cover): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9KLs1Z_-xw So, has anyone else seen/heard any of the covers? What do you think of them? Quote

RMD369 Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 I've heard quite a few of the covers and I think Chester does a great job. Really shows off his vocal range and delivery. Quote
Guest Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 in the 2 concerts u hav up, is there mountain song(jane's addiction cover) feat chester in there? been hunting it down for ages. Quote
Revolution1985 Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 i like when Chester sings on Man in the Box Quote
linkinmetalfanatic Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 its shows like this which show how great chester is. it shows that he can sing stuff which isnt just his band, he is great! Quote
Astat Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Maybe I'm just a lot more critical of Chester's voice on LP performances, but I've always felt like he sings at his best when he's doing other people's songs. Whole Lotta Love is probably my favorite vocal performance he's ever done. Quote
linkinmetalfanatic Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 what do u reckon of slash in them? (as your the guitar god of the LP community [cept for mike and brad]) Quote
Astat Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 what do u reckon of slash in them? (as your the guitar god of the LP community [cept for mike and brad]) Well, Paradise City is a no-brainer since it's a GNR song and Slash is playing it. He plays Highway to Hell pretty much flawlessly, and Whole Lotta Love is pretty good, although he trades sections of the solo back and forth with Joe Satriani, and Joe's guitar isn't turned up loud enough, so it doesn't sound right. Whole Lotta Love is probably my favorite vocal performance he's ever done.Thats a good one but i think my favorite is Anything Anything from Club Tattoo 06 and Jane Says from zepp 01... he really nailed that shit <3 Quote
Ru551anR0ck3t Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Honestly I find it a little disturbing that Slash is playing lead over Satriani rofl, I mean really. Quote
immortalsoul Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I seriously think Chester should sing on Slash's upcoming solo album, at least in one or two songs. Slash brings in so many musicians, and I think he should consider Chester as well, since they are friends anyway. Quote
LPdude Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 does any one have the link for i wanna be your dog by camp freddy, chester and a few others... its performed on 8th may 2008... Quote
Xero21 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 The links posted in this thread aren't working anymore, anyone mind re-linking? There are some songs in here I haven't heard Chester do yet. Quote
