Skipees Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) Where can that be found? Edited May 6, 2013 by Skipees Quote
lpliveusername Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 There are also these versions of "Waiting For The End" which are officially-commissioned remixes done by Dave Dresden and DJ Lynnwood for a single release which was I guess was scrappedI think this should be on the list. Quote
SergSlim Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I think this should be on the list. It should be considered as something like semi-official remix, as it was not posted on any LP official sources, and was not mentioned by any of LP representatives... As I said, we should create a separate section at the bottom of the list for such remixes, which some people for some reason consider official, but for the reason described above, they can't be added to the main list. Skipees Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 i'm with Serg in this thing, if we consider these two remixes, we need to consider EVERY remix of LITE that ever made, because they also got the multitracks from the band. Quote
Skipees Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 A Thousand Suns Era: When They Come For Me (Diplo Remix) Others: Pts.OF.Athrty (FSG Remix) The Catalyst [DIOYY? Remix] (FSG Remix) all of them from the same source, pure racism. Quote

Skipees Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 (edited) What do you mean by that? Pts.OF.Athrty (FSG Remix) - should be under Hybrid Theory Era. The Catalyst [DIOYY? Remix] (FSG Remix) - should be under A Thousand Suns Era. not under Others. Edit: you can also put: A.06 - under Meteora Era. QWERTY - under Minutes To Midnight. your choice. LPMaskMan Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Now I see... I think I put them there for a reason. Maybe they aren't 100% official? They were released in DJ Hero game. Quote
Skipees Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Now I see... I think I put them there for a reason. Maybe they aren't 100% official? both of them + When They Come For Me (Diplo Remix) are from Linkin Park Mix Pack of DJ Hero 2. officials. Quote
SergSlim Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 both of them + When They Come For Me (Diplo Remix) are from Linkin Park Mix Pack of DJ Hero 2. officials. OK, once again, is there any Linkin Park-side related info mentioning those remixes? I mean, did LP themselves, or their management, or WB, mentioned those remixes as official? Or it's only official because they are in a game? Quote
Skipees Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 FSG = FreeStyleGames = DJ Hero Develpers. Nobody mentioned it as official*, but since it's in a game that marketed all over the world and the band gets royalties* for this, in my opinion - it's official. *As far as I know. --- Leave Out All The Rest (Mike Shinoda Remix) - Leave Out All the Rest Japanese CD SingleLeave Out All The Rest->L.O.A.T.R. SergSlim Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Leave Out All The Rest->L.O.A.T.R. The Catalyst ("Bobby Bloomfield" DIOYY? Remix) ... Changed You can actually do these changes on your own Quote
Skipees Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 You can actually do these changes on your own I want to be sure that it's not just me think/agree about it before I'm editing. Quote
SergSlim Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I want to be sure that it's not just me think/agree about it before I'm editing. You linked to official sources, so why not? Just write afterwards what was changed from what and why. I just moved High Voltage remixes to newly created Hybrid Theory EP Era. Actually, I see that we already talked about High Voltage Reprise, and decided to not include it. Maybe I'm wrong here about moving them to HTEP era? Are they considered as remixes of Reprise version, or remixes of original HTEP version? I just looked at the Reanimation insert and here's what is said there: All tracks except ..., 9, ... originally appear on the Warner Bros. album Hybrid Theory. and then in description of H! VLTG3: Original version available on Linkin Park's DVD: Frat Party At The Pankake Festival. So it's considered to be a remix of the Reprise version. Undoing my changes. Quote

Vltg3 is the remix of the reprise version, it's even start with Chester singing the "Sometimes.." part, which is not in the HTEP version. Quote

Yeah, I've already figured that out from the Reanimation insert. Why do we have only few Reanimation Demo tracks, as opposed to all Reanimation final versions? Quote
Skipees Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Why do we have only few Reanimation Demo tracks, as opposed to all Reanimation final versions?Maybe becuase those demos are featured guests? There's only one Reanimation demos on LPU CD. Quote
SergSlim Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Maybe becuase those demos are featured guests? There's only one Reanimation demos on LPU CD. There were only 8 tracks on the Reanimation demo cd - that's why there are only those tracks in the list.. Damn, it was very late, when I wrote that post yesterday (or was it today already)... Quote

Damn, it was very late, when I wrote that post yesterday (or was it today already)...Oh, you meant in general, I thought you refer to officaily released. Maybe the Reanimation internal CD is "what we finished so far" CD. Maybe there are more CDs like this one, but who knows. Quote
Skipees Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Time to update the list Done. I added Recharged as the second source where needed. Quote
SergSlim Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Done. I added Recharged as the second source where needed. Awesome. I have noticed this just now. And I finally created a Semi-official remixes list. Also I added a note with description of why this list exists. Quote
Skipees Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 And I finally created a Semi-official remixes list. This is basically "not directly released by band" section. Great idea. Added pre-order note for Recharged after BID Paul Van Dyk remix. Quote
