martinez Posted June 5 Posted June 5 According to unshattermovie.com, Linkin Park will be releasing theaters worldwide a film "UNSHATTER" directed by Joe Hahn. The trailer for the movie was unveiled during the band's live performance at Rock Am Ring. Watch the trailer below: What do you think about it? Based on the trailer, the film will be a mix of the documentary and a live performance. Quote
JZLP9CharlesMarcia Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I have mixed feelings about this I would love to have a documentary about the band's return but I also need a full show. What about an extra cd with a full live set? Quote
bloodbath Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Seems to me that's gonna be a film about LP's Rebirth. From the bleak ending of 2017 to the triumphant return of 2024. Now it makes sense to record a show so soon in the touring cycle. Will we ever see the full show? Now that I see the trailer, I don't think so. I think it was never conceived that way and maybe because of that they allowed the Livestream. Best case scenario we will have the full show as "Unshattered OST" with the audio of 2CDs Still I don't lose the hope of having another full official live recordings of 2025 (2026 is yet to see) On 6/6/2026 at 1:38 AM, JZLP-Benningstrong said: I have mixed feelings about this I would love to have a documentary about the band's return but I also need a full show. Stranger Posted June 6 Posted June 6 this will be just like twentyonepilots recent film release. it's a documentary with live footages but not entirely a full show. also, it will be run on cinemas only. i dont see twentyonepilots releasing the movie online or in physical form. for this kind of movie/documentary, not all country will show this. sad. 😔 Quote
Guest Posted June 6 Posted June 6 I don't care what this film is about, I'm just happy we're getting a movie in theaters and taking over the world in this way as LP fans. I'm gunna feel so proud when I get to the booth and order my ticket. Quote

The band and team know fans want live content. They'll make some sort of live content available, whether through this or an additional live release. Remember the touring cycle is not even over yet. It is smart to wait until it's finished - what if they film or record and release something from one of the remaining Europe shows? We never know what the plans are, but they'll definitely start building their live releases up with Emily. This documentary looks cool. What a brilliant idea about putting it as a trailer on the show intro. Quote

DylHDZ Posted June 6 Posted June 6 (edited) You know I’m wondering if it’s titled “Unshatter” because that was “the first song they did with Emily they really liked and felt like it was LP” and all kinda felt like after that moment she was who they wanted/needed and knew for sure that “this is LP” Edited June 6 by DylHDZ Quote

This is exactly what LP did to move forward. They took something broken apart and created a ''new'' image out of it and continued to live. I think, as humans we all go through that in some form or fashion as well. Something changes us that's out of our control eventually, forcing us to learn how to live on with that. I love it's double (or triple?) meaning because the lyrics are also another side of it. Quote
RYG4R Posted June 6 Posted June 6 If there's an UNSHATTER film, I am expecting a full SOUNDTRACK and SCORE by no other than LINKIN PARK. I am not even surprise if we get a studio recording of Lost (Abridged/Emily version), 2-3 new tracks exclusively for this project, cinematic renditions of From Zero. Quote
Stewe Posted June 6 Posted June 6 (edited) I hope this will be physically released Edited June 6 by Stewe Quote
silverwing Posted June 6 Posted June 6 This needs to have a release beyond Theaters. I bet the closest one running the movie will be more than 500km away. Quote
martinez Posted June 6 Author Posted June 6 This film has the potential to go big in theaters, if I will be right, and if it will be making an appropriate amount of money, all the time, then we will not see it anywhere else or in any other format for a long time. That will be just my 2 cents for everyone already requesting to be released on DVD and on some others. Quote
