LP9 - From Zero 2 or unknown roads?

In my opinion, they have plenty of material or demos featuring Emily ready to be reworked - after all, they were already working with her in secret, behind the scenes in the studio, a few years back. They’ll probably take a break now, then start sorting through that material in the spring, and I reckon the new album will drop in early 2028.

 

As for the sound, that’s obviously a mystery. I’d love a From Zero Part 2, but they might come up with something completely different. Shinoda, as we know, is full of surprises!

Hey I just had a question regarding future albums (unsure if asking in the right place) would any future albums be compared to from zero (like how all of Chester’s albums were compared to hybrid theory/meteora)

Is from zero gonna be Emily’s hybrid theory

Any future albums will continue to be compared to Hybrid Theory and Meteora. From Zero already got that treatment.

I'd generally like one more like From Zero before they do something more left field again. (Which I do want them to do for LP10!)  From Zero is an odd album as the record was built as the band was being rebuilt. And I think "doing it again" with the current six members fully involved in the creative process from the start is going to produce great results if Up From The Bottom is anything to go by.

FROM ZERO sound was more like step 1 for the band - LP9 would be more polished, refined FZ sound.
