We're in the final stretch of the From Zero European Tour, but the fun is not stopping! Linkin Park are back to the festival stage for a final run of festival shows starting with Rock Werchter in Werchter, Belgium on July 3, 2025!

This will be Linkin Park's third time performing at the festival, the last time being in 2017 near the end of the One More Light European Tour. The band emerged dramatically to the sound of the legendary 'Fallout' and 'Roads Untraveled' mashup that flowed right into 'Talking To Myself,' opening the show with an electrifying energy. The One More Light Tour setlists flew between eras quickly, highlighting the roads the band has traveled throughout their career, churning through cuts early in the set like 'Burn It Down,' 'The Catalyst,' 'Wastelands,' and 'One Step Closer.' The band dug deeper in some areas of the set, with Mike whipping out 'A Place For My Head' verse one for the new ending of the Experience Version of 'Castle Of Glass' and 'Somewhere I Belong' being rotated in, despite the band playing a festival set. New tracks from One More Light also stated their case as 'Invisible,' 'One More Light,' and 'Heavy' brought a lighter tenderness to the band's hectic setlist. Chester sang the piano version of 'Crawling' from the crowd, with a fan whose friend said that she wanted to sing with him! To top it all off at the end of the show, 'Faint' closed the show rather than 'Bleed It Out' for one of the few times that year.

The band's first performance ever at Rock Werchter goes all the way back to 2011, the band headlining the festival during the A Thousand Suns European Tour that summer. The festival setlists this summer were nothing short of thrilling, with this show opening with an unbeatable run of 'The Requiem,' 'The Radiance,' 'Papercut,' 'Lying From You,' and 'Given Up.' With soon-to-be A Thousand Suns classics like 'When They Come For Me' and 'Waiting For The End' also finding their place within the set, the set gave fans a taste of both the old and new with style. Even if relatively safe on paper, the band made some cool choices with the set like playing 'What I've Done' earlier on after 'Given Up' and 'Numb' with the Oppenheimer Outro transitioning into 'Breaking The Habit.' The summer 2011 sets really packed a punch with every show!

Interestingly enough, the only other show the band ever played in Belgium up until that point was in 2001, opening for the band that's playing before them on the mainstage: the legendary Deftones! Linkin Park opened for the Back To School Tour in the spring of 2001, the band's first proper European Tour taking them to the city of Deinze. Linkin Park and Deftones have been intertwined for years, Chino being a good friend of the band (appearing on the Mike Shinoda track 'Lift Off') and Linkin Park themselves covering 'My Own Summer (Shove It)' in 2002. Could it be primetime for a collaboration onstage with Linkin Park? Emily Armstrong onstage with Deftones for 'Passenger?' We'll get more into that later... Linkin Park also performed at  a different Belgian festival in 2015 - Pukkelpop at the end of The Hunting Party World Tour, bringing rare tracks like 'A Line In The Sand' and 'Rebellion' to the crowds of Belgium. This show brings the band's total amount of shows in Belgium up to five!

Linkin Park's full show at Rock Werchter 2017 in Werchter, Belgium on July 1, 2017. A big show with an equally epic setlist, this is definitely a great listen to prep you for tonight's show!

The band's last show took place in Düsseldorf, Germany with the first headline show since the band's groundbreaking show at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The band returned to Germany with pretty much the same setlist as the last show there (Berlin, a similarly groundbreaking show at the Olympiastadion) but just as much fervor, ripping through rotations like 'Cut The Bridge,' 'Given Up,' and 'Good Things Go.' 'Let You Fade' featured in the encore for the first time in a few nights, being rotated with 'A Place For My Head' between shows. The number game on 'Numb' was even the same, with the punk rock style being chosen, but this time the band jammed with the style more during the outro, leading to a pretty awesome ending to the song! Other treats including Mike rapping a verse of 'Petrified' over his solo medley (commemorating the Fort Minor show he played there the last time Linkin Park was in town) and him performing 'The Next Episode' by Dr. Dre over the 'Overflow' intro for the second time ever. It was also funny to note that Mike seemed to not be as prepared as he was for previous shows, forgetting to write a little speech in German (he started talking about schnitzel and beer before going into the crowd and asking for a translator), initially forgetting which verse to do for his solo medley, and even thanking the wrong opening band (he accidentally had the crowd cheer for Spiritbox)! Pretty funny, especially since I also forget just about as much at work on a daily basis too. We all have our off days, but these little moments didn't make the performance any less amazing - the band killed it as usual, and have really hit a flying streak coming into the end of this tour!

What can we expect to see for this festival set? The band will be hitting the stage let, with a 90 minute set starting at 11:30pm. Every festival set has been unique in its own right, and each set has come with its share of surprises like the headlining shows. The band plays around with the festival set even more than the headlining set, moving songs up and down in position and rotating things in and out - anything's possible here in Werchter! 'From The Inside' or the festival debut of 'IGYEIH' would be epic moments to see, and other possibilities like 'A Place For My Head' or 'Casualty' would also be a treat! It's looking quite possible that this show will be livestreamed by the festival - but at the time of posting, it's not confirmed. Keep your eyes peeled on the https://live.rockwerchter.be/nl/ page tomorrow, and we'll keep you updated on whether or not it looks like the band's set will be streamed live!

Linkin Park performing 'Numb' with a punk rock 'Numb/Encore' intro and punk jam outro at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany on July 1, 2025. The band's been continuing the number game style into the outro of the song lately, and it's been leading to some awesome moments like this!

The festival has a whole slew of awesome artists performing: on the MainStage alone before Linkin Park will be Deftones, Fontaines D.C., and De La Soul, while other stages will boast the likes of Coheed & CambriaIggy Pop, and London Grammar, just to name a few. Though the band hasn't had too many onstage collaborations this cycle (the only two really being Page Hamilton for a one-off 'All For Nothing' in Arlington last year and grandson on 'One Step Closer' throughout this year), the air is rife with possibility at Rock Werchter. Like we mentioned before, a Deftones live collab has been in the books for decades now. Though they aren't playing the song this summer, it's not out of the question that they could bring in 'Passenger' and perform it with Emily. Earlier this year, Hayley Williams from Paramore joined them onstage for 'Minerva,' which is another possibility. Chino coming out for a song would be shocking and epic too - he'd pull of some awesome screams on perhaps 'Crawling' or 'One Step Closer' for sure! We'd love to see the band do some more with other artists at these shows, but we're ready to rock out to both bands no matter what the night holds!

Deftones performing 'Minerva' with Hayley Williams at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on March 26, 2025. Could we see Emily come out during their set for some of the same action?

Who's going to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting a cool day ahead but with pretty clear skies accompanying the moderate temperatures, so look forward to a nice day out with a high of 22°C and a low of 11°C! After this show, Linkin Park plays one final festival of this European run at Poland's Open'er Festival before topping off the tour with two nights in Frankfurt, Germany and a final massive show in Saint-Denis, France. The band takes a few weeks off before kicking things back up for a huge second round of United States shows starting in Brooklyn, two nights in Boston, and Newark (I'll see you at all of them ;) )! Linkin Park will return to Belgium and Werchter next year with the newly announced Werchter-Parklife show, currently slated to wrap up their 2026 European Tour on July 28, 2026.

We've been updating our Linkinpedia show pages over the last few weeks leading up to the tour with new features like more statistics, highlighting rotation songs, a banner at the top of the guide, and lots more, so be sure to head over there and explore what we've been up to! We've also recently launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, but we'll be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates in these, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already! And if you haven't noticed, we've made some upgrades to our LPLive and Linkinpedia servers so both sites should be running a lot more smoothly now!

We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/XInstagramFacebook)!

The lack of livestreams is getting very annoying at this point. We're getting close to a year since the band's return and we've only got 2 full shows. I don't remember something like this happening maybe since 2013 or 2008? Add that to the fact that we haven't gotten any news on the Sao Paulo show. It's starting to get frustrating.

Who blocks official livestreams from festivals? Warner, management or the band on its own? Surely someone from this environment. It seems to me that they want all the live material they release to be polished and mixed as best as possible.

It's pretty absurd. The supposed recording of Sao Paulo for cinemas didn't stop the Brazilian TV to show a Livestream. I really don't get the point of forbid livestreams like we were in 2007

Seems like there'll have been a specific, purposeful decision made at some point to have no livestream for now. We can only speculate why.

My best guess would be that they're very aware of getting every aspect of this comeback right, and they're just being very protective of how their show is presented. They have control of the live show, and control over their own video releases, but don't necessarily have full quality control over how a local livestream broadcaster presents the show. I think now, more than any other time in the band's history and with so much riding on this comeback being a success, they'll be protective of what they have and how it's presented to the world. Let the world judge the comeback by the album and by attending a concert in-person - not by a random third-party livestream. Just my guess!

They could easily polished the livestream and upload it on YouTube afterwards.

I saw Evanescence doing that a few years ago.

Maybe. It seems more likely they'll just focus on one individual show for future release at some point. They're clearly just not up for livestreams right now for any number of possible reasons.

I don’t think there’s a livestream because they’re probably planning to release a show sometime soon—maybe the São Paulo one or something else. They likely don’t want other shows floating around online that might kill the excitement or make people less interested in buying or watching the official release.

But you can find online the Sao Paolo show, the exact same show they've planned to release.

I get what you said, but dozens of bad quality YT videos won't "hurt" the comeback but a decent quality pro shot will, it has zero logic. The tour has been VERY lucrative and successful, we're not in September 24. This is just control freaks on board.

Emily did the full 16second scream on HITC!
First time? Even in the proshot LP posted months ago it was cut short at 13s

Fan-recorded YouTube videos are a lot more forgiving than a direct soundboard-mix streamed live. A lot of bad notes, voice cracks, wrong notes on the instruments are lost in the more chaotic sound of a amateur recording.

It's about control. With how much (unfair) shit directed at Emily's abilities online, they don't want a festival's livestream to potentially give more fuel to the haters. Live streams can be notoriously dry and revealing for artists.

Personally, I think the biggest risk (and maybe mistake) LP took, was opening their comeback with the livestream. And this one was even completely within their own control. Very bold and risky. I respect that, but damn... It did a lot of damage to Emily's reputation as a live performer, straight off the bat.

She was so (understandably) nervous - the ironic thing is, that she in many ways is a more consistent, on-key singer than Chester ever was, and she delivers a lot of those old raspy choruses more in line with the studio performance than Chester did for years. But for a lot of people, they just heard her nervously force and voice crack her way through the older songs on that initial livestream, and they made up their minds about her right there.

Transmitieron las tres primeras canciones. Están programadas, sí.

I started searching the internet for the three songs that were supposedly broadcast, but I didn't find anything.

She came close to it several times but it looks like this is the first time she really went all the way!

It was about Deftones, not LP

Yeah the initial livestream did not do her any favors lol. I actually think you’re right here, I’ve noticed she has amazing technique (she’s used vocal techniques I’ve never heard Chester use) but when you’re as nervous as she was you’re gonna make mistakes. Unfortunate that people made up their minds about her right there because you can tell now that she’s way more confident and in control of her voice than 10 months ago.

Dman, i loved her in the first livestream. Even with all the slips and cracks, i felt every emotion, i really felt like she IS linkin park in the first 5 minutes listening the stream.

So sad for people judgning only by pitch perfection or things like that. Music is much more about emotions.
