xxHybridXeroxx Posted yesterday at 12:19 AM Posted yesterday at 12:19 AM We’re so back baby! LP finally make their return to the Carolinas in Raleigh today, Tuesday May 6th, 2025 at the Lenovo Center (formerly PNC Arena). The last time any LP related act played Raleigh or North Carolina for that matter was Mike Shinoda’s stop there in 2018. The crowd there got 'When They Come For Me' opening the show, followed into 'I.O.U.' and then 'In Stereo!' Talk about filth! One of my friends and who I’ll be attending the show with @ChuckCheese actually sang part of 'Running From My Shadow' with Mike at this show! He also told me that the fans were singing LP songs in the parking lot of the venue after the show! For the last time LP played North Carolina as a band because of the cancellation of shows in 2017 (due to the tragic passing of Chester Bennington) and 2015 (due to Chester’s ankle injury) you will have to go back to my very first show EVER. Charlotte 2014. I had the pleasure of meeting the OG lineup at a M&G then and it’s something I’ll never ever forget. I remember being a deer in the headlights when Chester came around and he said something along the lines of “I love this guy, I’m excited for the show now” and hugged me. I’ll never forget his kindness to me that day, I miss him so much but I’m also very happy and grateful the band has found new life. 16 year old me about to receive a hug from the legend himself, Chester Bennington To go back to LP’s last show in the city of Raleigh however, you’ll have to go back to the Minutes to Midnight era on Projekt Revolution 2008. The show there was the first show without Busta Rhymes as he had a dispute with his label that forced him to drop off the tour! Even with 'We Made It' being dropped, the crowd still got tasty songs such as 'No More Sorrow' (can you please play that again LP?) and 'From The Inside.' Chris Cornell also came out for his now famous performance of 'Crawling' on this tour, and this show was no exception to that. Prior to that they played the year before there in 2007 also on Projekt Revolution. The crowd there got the epic set B (although 'QWERTY' was dropped) the most noteworthy thing about this show is Mike rapped 'Second To None' by Styles Of Beyond for the only time ever over the song. That and 'Bleed It Out' from this show was released on LPU 7. To my surprise while researching for this post Linkin Park has played only 3 shows in Raleigh, NC. 2000 (which we have no setlist for), 2007, 2008. As far as this current tour goes, we are really off and running now, last show was in Baltimore and 'Stained' finally got it’s debut, so with the debut of 'Cut The Bridge' in Tulsa and now 'Stained,' the ONLY song left from From Zero that hasn’t been played live yet is 'IGYEIH.' Could we see that or any other surprises? The rotation tonight should be ‘set B’ with the 'Iridescent' intros, the last show set B was performed at was Tulsa, so I’m expecting to see songs like 'Given Up' and 'From The Inside' in those rotation slots. If Baltimore is any indication however, they may be mixing things up though. The show is also Emily’s birthday, so maybe one of the songs she’s been requesting ('Lies Greed Misery' or 'Blackout') will be played? ------------------------------------------------------ Weatherman Rogue Soul here to hijack the end of the post! 😎 Great work by xxHybridXeroxx on the pre-show post! Who's heading to the show? Looks like a wonderful day in the forecast, with temperatures in the 60s and low 70s and partly cloudy skies. Get ready for a great day out and an even better show! grandson will be opening, so be sure to catch his set if you can! Linkin Park continue their first U.S. leg of the From Zero World Tour with one more headlining show in North Carolina on Saturday before taking on Ohio's Sonic Temple festival on the 10th and wrapping things up in Florida next weekend at the Welcome To Rockville festival. The band will then head to Europe next month for their first full European Tour of the touring cycle. We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)! RogueSoul Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Awesome post, love how you told your story with the band throughout! Should be an awesome show, I'm personally expecting something special in the set for Emily's birthday! Could be the day we finally get 'IGYEIH.' Quote
Stewe Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) I'd love your Meet & Greet story. I'm about to meet Chester as well in 2014 when he did a meeting at a Porsche Design in Italy but I was back in the queue and I couldn't enter the building in time Edited 18 hours ago by Stewe Quote
ramanlfc Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Podcast with LP's tour director Jim Digby : Great background on how the livestream was put together and how the crew puts together all the shows. PS Happy Birthday Emily 🎉🎉 Quote

ChuckCheese Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Woo hoo! The best band of all time is finally back in my neck of the woods! This will be my 18th Linkin Park show and I couldn’t picture a better one than right here in NC. Y’all can find me acting a fool and being an overall menace in the pit throughout the night. And then round 2 in Greenville! Let’s do it! Quote
