martinez Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Third episode of behind the scenes from the making of the From Zero album. This episode shows the process of the making of "Heavy Is The Crown" track. Quote
DylHDZ Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Demo versions with the diff riffs and synth sounds soooo Meteora! Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted April 25 Posted April 25 I know that this is just the new era of YT for these things but it would be nice if the Deluxe Edition had a full documentary in one part, like the old documentaries that we had thats the best format. They are going song by song but what about the whole process of the album? demo names? demo teasers? just like when we heard Rob's drum song which remained a mistery for 20 years. Also what happened with the Brazil 2024 show? i thought that it was going to be part of this deluxe edition. Quote

The whole documentary things is my favourite part of LP, is too bad that starting with The Hunting Party they just did a few YouTube videos. As for the Brazil show if I remember correctly will be showing in theatres but I don't remember a physical release Quote

I guess this isn't supposed to be a release with 2xCDs plus DVD. The show is coming up probably later this year. Be patient. Quote
cjv1991 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Zero sign of Brad in this one, huh. I do get the feeling that he came in *really* late and there’s a bit of a PR job being done to make it sound like he contributed more than he actually did. Quote

Qwerty18 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 (edited) Casualty, Two Faced, and IGYEIH are the three songs said to have started from Brad ideas. Casualty, they did right after Brad joined. Two Faced, they did after Casualty, because they wanted another heavy guitars driven song. And IGYEIH was one of the last completed songs, and I'm quite conviced I read somewhere it started from a Brad-Mike collab. Basically Brad came in to bring the heavy stuff. solidss Posted Friday at 11:11 PM Posted Friday at 11:11 PM Wow the demo version sounds so completely different than what the final version ended up being. I really like that sound effect used before the guitar hits on the demo version! Quote

I'm considering trying my hand at taking the Zane Lowe interview, the conversation with Mike and Emily, these BTS videos, etc. and putting together something like that. Quote
NimaLP Posted Saturday at 07:06 AM Posted Saturday at 07:06 AM The demo reminds me of every Meteora demo from LPU albums. Quote

They have been pretty transparent that Brad was not involved for a lot of the album and made his decision to join in with it all pretty late in the process. With Colin playing guitar in these videos, it seems like they were prepared for a while to be a five piece in the studio. Quote
KeysToTheLinkinPark Posted Saturday at 08:37 PM Posted Saturday at 08:37 PM I'm just happy he's still a part of the band and most likely will be more involved in the creation of the next album. Quote
