In between tours, the band got together at my studio. As we listened to demos, everyone kinda agreed we didn’t have the song we needed. As we talked, I scribbled notes. When everyone went home, I started piecing things together at the piano. For days, I obsessively pulled at threads of unclear ideas, until a special one began to reveal itself.

 

One of the most satisfying things I get to experience is the moment when I play a new song for my band—knowing it’s unfinished, but confident it’s going to be special. Extremely mediocre song, I don’t like the 2000s pop punky vibe at all, hope the other 2 don’t sound like this. The bridge is kinda cool, BMTH/Blackbear vibes. Overall it’s a pass for me but glad you enjoy the song.

Love FZ era from the begining but releasing song cutted from the album as a single is so 🫥  I think it's ok song, very pop-punk something different but worst track from that era imo. Sorry for that opinion but I hate modern approach to releasing music and FZ go with it.

An OK song for me. Reminds me more of Mike's solo stuff. Love the bridge, but don't like the drumming though.

yeah, i noticed the two faced clip in there. someone in the shoutbox yesterday mentioned a scene from TEM in the music video as well. very interesting that they included those

It's a simple, super fun, fast-paced track with a great bridge.

 

It's refreshing to have LP step out their usual "Mid-tempo"  beat range when it comes to singles. The energy level here is super high, and contagious

 

Love the vocal harmonies and back-up vocals throughout the song as well!

 

The video is quite cool too, loved Emily on guitar during the bridge, and the Two Faced ref is super random but fun

Pretty sure that this song will be a huge moment during the live show, very energetic

better than Stained , and Cut the BIO

 

also its cool that the album will be extended to like 42 minutes or something.

 

i just wish that they did an alternative tracklist and not just add the extra songs at the end.

The tempo is what stands out to me as well, cool to hear them tackle that and it sets it apart from other FZ tracks and older material. I really wanna hear them do another 3/4 / 6/8 song like FTI again in the new era as well, there are a lot of little things like that they could latch onto to keep things feeling fresh 

 

I kinda don't get the music video, what is the Two Faced shot supposed to represent?
