I love those songs as well and get if you’re not feeling the new song, but realistically UFTB has radio all over it, doubt any of those songs would perform as well as a single to the potential UFTB has (imo)

that's how it always is with new songs. takes time to digest it. I didn't like Over Each Other when i first heard it, now it's one of my favorites.

It's a good radio friendly song

But GG is a radio friendly song too

Overflow as well

If this song is from FZ in any ways it's not even included for original tracklist.

Really interesting approach.. this is new for the band

they are touring for FZ, they have some other songs that could do pretty fucking good like Good Things Go, IGYEIH or Casualty but instead 

they decided to release as a single a b-side or bonus track.

 

I guess that this is the beggining of the non album singles for this band.

I agree not releasing GTG as a single is a huge missed opportunity.

Singles are just a way to keep releasing new stuff and keep the momuntum going. There's a reason why all the FZ singles were released before the album came out. Nowadays once the album is out there's no need for more singles. Every song is available to everyone for free. With how things works in the music industry in 2025 releasing as a single a song that has been out for a few months is like releasing an old song as a single, it hardly makes sense. It would be different if Casualty and IGYEIH had blown up on tiktok or outstreamed the rest of the album but those are the least streamed song on the album. GTG is a fan favourite but that song didn't blow up either

New Divide was part of a movie soundtrack.

 

This track its a new trend, a bonus track from a deluxe version became a single thats the first time.

MTM should had one real expanded edition. I still don't like tht we don't have songs like Blackbirds in physical format

Why do I have a feeling that they’ll give us more than just one single? Maybe From Zero could be like a series of concept albums similar to Post Human: Survival Horror & Post Human: Nex Gen by BMTH.

This is the bangers era, not the weird stuff era.

 

Those craving weirder stuff will eventually get it, I guess, but there is a time for everything. A comeback was not it.

I was not really big on Overflow but the live version changed my mind. Let's see how UFTB does live. Right now it's an alright song to me.

And yes, radio-friendly is good, but I don't want the band to make and release songs to be only radio-friendly.

Speaking of creativity and innovation in music, the modern rock and metal bands that were mostly influenced by LP in some way are killing it out there. LP wouldn't stand a chance if they can't come up with something fresh and exciting in the future, especially with their next album.

Guys overflow is a great track for sure one of the best on FZ but Linkin Park can't release songs like that as single. Singles are supposed to be catchy and radio-friendly, that's the point of a single for a mainstream band.
