'Heavy Is The Crown' (Original Score) out now!

A second version of 'Heavy Is The Crown' is out now on streaming services! The Original Score version features in the Arcane League Of Legends series, the second season of which dropped its first three episodes on Netflix today. The song is featured in episode 1 (which is itself titled "Heavy Is The Crown") about 33 minutes in and runs to the credits.

 

 

This version is slower and more atmospheric, coming in with a slow and heavy explosion in the second half. What do you think of this version of the song? Could make for a cool live intro in the future. The full soundtrack for Season 2 of Arcane League Of Legends will be out on November 25, and also features the likes of Twenty One Pilots, Mako, and Imagine Dragons.

The softer guitar part in the first half of this was used in the Ext. Intro for HITC at the Worlds 2024 performance, so hopefully they revisit that in some capacity eventually.

Considering this version and the Worlds24 intro, Heavy Is The Crown in my opinion should either open the set or encore. They give some exciting cinematic vibes.

So while the full soundtrack will be released on November 25, the song itself (the 'Heavy Is The Crown' (Original Score)) was released yesterday and to day it is now available on streaming platforms. In most places it is available for streaming only and I think you can purchase it currently only on iTunes. So I think we can update our databases that the song officially was released on November 9 starting from YouTube and few hours later it became available on digital platforms.
