The other day, when I was checking some releases on the site, I noticed that in all MTM releases that have booklets, they have just names not after the release, like for example in "Minutes To Midnight (Deluxe Version)" the booklet have just "Minutes To Midnight" so I did re-check for all of them, and when checking one of them on iTunes, I discovered something interesting.

 

Do you remember this, when I used the album ID from Crawl Back In (Live) track and found the OOA album release with that ID but without that track? Which was at the same time proof that the release wasn't on iTunes only during the pre-order time, but also it was available there when the album was already released.

 

So I was checking some MTM releases on iTunes and I found out that the booklet of this MTM release had a name: "Minutes To Midnight (iTunes Non-LPTV Pre-Order Bundle) (Amended)" (you can see the full name of the booklet in the site's source code) - I think this was the "iTunes Non-LPTV Pre-Order Bundle" edition but after it was released and they removed No Roads Left from it, they updated the name to "Minutes To Midnight (Deluxe Version)" but it seems that they forgot to do the same and update the name for the booklet.

 

The same edition is on kkbox. "Amended" of course means that the release is censored. I re-checked databases and there was only one digital censored 14-track edition with No Roads Left and WID (Live) and that is this one:

 

Which is also available on Qobuz and Beatport. So I'm gonna add the alternate name to this release and the iTunes link, which at the same time I will remove from this edition:

 

Also, a similar thing would happen to this release:

 

The current iTunes link to it with the ID: id253334696 will stay, and the one from the notes with ID: id253330231 which is different (the different album ID also suggests a release with a different barcode) will be associated with this edition:

 

There was also a "MTM (Pre-Order Bundle)" 13-track version with just No Roads Left, I was thinking if maybe it was this one, with this iTunes link? When I found it, I had searched a lot to find the barcode for it, but I never really found a barcode for another standard 12-track digital edition of the album, and it seems this particular one with the booklet was available only on iTunes. The only standard edition was always the one with barcode: 093624447764, to which I also had an iTunes link in notes, and which never had a booklet on any digital platform it was released. So what do you think? Should I merge this one with this?

 

So I did all of this, it is not 100% done yet which I will go into details in a minute, but first let me explain something - so from my previous post, it turned out that the booklet of this edition had a name "Digital Booklet - Minutes To Midnight (iTunes Non-LPTV Pre-Order Bundle) (Amended)" - which is a confirmation that the edition was having the 14 tracks, because it says "Non-LPTV" and the only other thing that was available only during the pre-order time on the release was No Roads Left. Plus the same edition is still available for streaming on KKBOX, NRL track is not present on the KKBOX because the license for it expired on that platform but if you click on any track from the list, you will see the full tracklisting with NRL on the left side. So I have the confirmation about this 14-track edition and that is the censored version.

 

Now, as for the explicit version - I received a confirmation from the fan who purchased "No Roads Left" and "What I've Done (Live)" tracks back then in 2007 when the album was still during the pre-order. So I asked if he could send me the album ID from which the tracks were purchased (because like I said earlier, when you purchase a song from iTunes the whole information including the album ID that's at the end of the iTunes link is in the metadata tags inside m4a files) and he sent me this album ID: 253330231, which of course belongs to this album:

So now I have confirmation for the 14-track, explicit edition! This is some kind of plot twist on the info I had on the site this whole time and which was totally wrong. So I can now make some updates, here is what I changed:

There is still a little mess with those editions, which I am currently not sure what to do if it's about the names of those editions, for example:

The only reason why both had "(Deluxe Version)" is because of the links I had in them (those: link, link) which turned out that both are not for both editions. So I don't know, whether i should keep the "(Deluxe Version)" name in them or remove it, and keep the names of both editions just as "Minutes To Midnight"? Have no idea. The label updated the names of most editions with bonus tracks to just "Minutes To Midnight" and this is the current name of them on almost all digital platforms. So having both above editions as just "Minutes To Midnight" might be not correct.

Got a confirmation from other fan that the digital download of this album contained also the booklet. Added the booklet and the info that it had 8 pages. It is no longer available with the release.

 

Others:

- small visual update in all LPU albums.
- update of the notes in some of the videos + some of them that didn't have, have now notes when the info is exported to txt file.
