Mark Morton feat. Chester - "Cross Off" on March 1

Recommended Posts

In April 2017, we reported that Chester was in the studio with Mark Morton of Lamb of God. Mark had been working on a solo album since 2016 and posted a tease (with some lyrics) of Chester in the studio with him.

In October 2018, Mark confirmed that the song with Chester WOULD be released and it was on its way, promising updates soon.

We are happy to bring you the news that Mark has announced his solo album today, entitled "Anesthetic", coming out on March 1st, 2019. The album (available for preorder now) is 10 songs and track number one is none other than "Cross Off" (feat. Chester Bennington) coming in at 4 minutes and 13 seconds.

This will be the first release with Chester in 2019, following two prior music releases - Linkin Park's "One More Light Live" and Julien-K's "Time Capsule". Slash recently confirmed he recorded a song with Chester that he handed over to Chester's family. At the end of the day, it appears that Talinda gets a big say (likely the final call) in what IS or what IS NOT released with Chester on it, and so far, things are going really well for everyone. Thank you to Talinda for allowing us to continue hearing Chester's voice on (new) recordings for years to come.
