Ever wanted to be Linkin Park? Probably just so you could add 'A Place For My Head' into the set. Come on, we know you. Don't lie.

Well, you won't be able to make any executive setlist decisions, but you will soon be able to experience what it's like to be part of the band onstage while they perform! Spatialand and Intel are partnering with Linkin Park to bring a unique concert experience where YOU are the performer.

The new app, Linkin Park VR Destination, will launch next month on July 27 via the Spatialand app. It will be compatible with the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive and bring a lot of content, including music, exclusive merch, special contests, the ability to unlock secret fan experiences created by the band, and more.

It is unknown if the launch will have anything to do with the North American Tour this summer (as the article specifically points out that tour starts on the same day the experience launches), but as we find out more we'll keep you updated. November update:

Mike and Joe visited ComplexCon, and did an Intel virtual reality "Linkin Park" demo. You can see footage from the Making of One More Light included.

There is currently no information on whether the Making of OML will be released or not, or if the Intel VR experience will be made available for fans.

So Mike and Joe were at ComplexCon today, and from seeing Mike wearing a VR headset I can only assume they were using/playing with this. Did it get delayed after Chester passed? Never heard anything about it until today again.

It's very likely that Chester's death delayed this, especially with the planned release being only one week later.

If Mike was indeed using this app at ComplexCon, that's awesome. It sounds really cool.
