This is clearly the Orlando 7/24 recording, it was mislabeled with this date for a very long time. I removed the setlist from the page again.

From that page: Be sure to check out Linkin Park as HOB.com and MTV.com present this 24-Hour Audio Cybercast recorded at the House of Blues Orlando on September 16, 2000.

It is this show: http://lplive.net/shows/db/2000andearlier/20000916

I'm not too familiar with Linkin Park live recordings, but I think it's pretty obvious it's the performance AndOne is talking about on his post above. It was recorded on 2000.09.16 in Orlando, the recording was commonly mislabeled as 2000.08.16 (which happens to be a date Linkin Park also played a show on), but since the band says "Orlando" a few times during the recording, someone then mistakenly labeled it as the bands other show in Orlando on 2000.07.24.

The 2000.09.16 show happened in Lake Buena Vista which is part of the Orlando metropolitan area.

That means Mason Jar is now the oldest show recording we have, since there is no recording of the show in The Sapphire.

Yes that makes sense. The conclusion that it's the 7/24 show was originally in Omar's guide and no one questioned it I guess.

There's no way there would be two Orlando webcasts and there's also no way we wouldn't have the HOB webcast.

That the show was in "Lake Buena Vista" instead of "Orlando" probably helped in the mixup.

How the mixup with the 8/16 show came together remains unexplained since that was definitely not the webcast date but who knows could be anything from a simple typo.

I listened to the show not too long ago and there is really nothing in there that helps. All they say is Orlando, they dont even mention the other bands.

Mason Jar was always the oldest video recording though.

"Crawling" was dropped from the setlist:

mike, why didnt you do crawling in indianapolis? i was looking forward to that

shawna--chester wasn't feeling good, and craling is hard on his throat

http://lplive.net/wiki/db/releases/live-around-the-world-series

While Blackout is labeled as being from Hamburg 2011 on the A Thousand Suns: Live Around the World release, the recording is in fact from Sydney 2010.

I also think That The Messenger on that same release wasn't from Las Vegas 2011 but from another show. can you look into it for me? when I listened to the Vegas '11 DSP It sounded different and had a different ending. I'm almost certain they screwed up there too.

Beijing 2015

Chester's mic dropped out a couple of times during New Divide, this isn't mentioned on the show page

I guess it's also worth to mention that the subtitle lyrics for Given Up for example were uncensored.

Not necessarily a corrections, but definitely a few things to look into:

Some guy from the comments saw the show on 2000.11.21. According to him, Hed PE didn't show up due to a bus problem.

Seen them in 03 with papa roach in joplin mo, Linkin Park was on the ticket but backed out the day before. would have been sweet to see them all that year.

He's probably talking about Papa Roach/Hed PE show on 2000.12.02 in Joplin during Master Bay tour. Linkin Park joined the tour a few days later after that date.

- In the hidden track from Hed PE's album "Only In Amerika" the singer mentions "doing crack with Linkin Park" or something to that effect:

- Hilarious story from 2000.07.27 show:

Yo guys, the first time i ever even heard of you was when you opened for The Union Underground in Philly. It was a free show at the TLA on South Street. Me and my friend talked to you guys outside before the show for like a half hour and you told us to make sure we were inside in time to check you guys out. Right from the very first second you hit the stage, you guys kicked ass. There was only a couple hundred people at the show. I remember some asshole kept spitting on Chester during the show. Then when guys left the stage, The Union Underground came out. Half way into their 2nd song, i fucked my knee up in the pit and couldn't even stand up for the rest of the show. I just sat there against the wall. Then when they were done playing i saw you guys again as i was leaving. Me and my friend stood around and talked to you guys for a while again. You remembered our names. One of you said "What's up Jon, what did you think of us"? Then i told you how phat you were and that i couldn't wait till the CD came out. Then i showed you guys my knee and one of you was trying to help me with it. I signed you mailing list and then walked outside. Chester was out there talking to that kid who had been spitting on him during the show. Then Chester asked if he could spit on the kid and the kid said "ok". So Chester spit on him. Then the kid spit on Chester again. I was sitting down 5 feet away from all of this. I got a kick out of it. The kid was a fuckin cock sucker. Anyway, a few days after that show i downloaded all the tracks from Hybrid Theory and burnt them on a CD. I had been listening to the burnt copy for months but when i finally hit the stores, i was there the first day to pick it up. I just have one thing to ask of you guys: CAN YOU PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM MTV?! You guys kick enough ass, you don't need MTV!

Again blue cap Fred Durst is watching the show from the side of the stage, then to the sound of the 'take a look around'-guitar riff runs on stage with a beer and dissappears again.

Take A Look Around guitar riff?

From the same review, Fred Durst cleaning the floor:

Midways through the set suddenly the Limp Bizkit frontman and 2 lookalikes storm the stage again, but this time to 'attack' the guys of Linkin Park and poor beer all over them. But now there's a mess so Fred is coming back and for the next couple of minutes of the gig starts to clean up the floor, which, I can't deny this, is rather amusing to watch.

After a fleeting - not to mention slippery - visit to Kansas City's rock radio station, where the band awarded tickets to tonight's sold-out show to the caller who best howled out the 'Shut up when I'm talking to you!' portion of One Step Closer, Linkin Park and their crew enter the Uptown Theater's main area to set up for soundcheck.

+ Papercut was played during the soundcheck.

One Step Closer, Runaway and With You were played during the show:

LJoustra in Onstage4 asks:
Mike, what kinda coin is it that you're wearing almost all the time?

Linkin Park says:
That got ripped off Mike's neck in Indianapolis and after the show everyone helped him look for it, and he ended up finding it himself on the ground. It's a Japanese family crest.

http://lpchickfl.tripod.com/articles_interviews.htm#Digital%20Dish%20Diva%20says:

Not sure if this is relevant, but after the show the band went back to Los Angeles to shoot the music video for Crawling:

This could be the reason why Linkin Park didn't play the first two shows on the Deftones tour:

http://lplive.net/shows/db/2001/20010301

According to the article, the band went to Spain on February 27.

On February 26 they were still doing the video.

xx. Unknown Backstage Acoustic Jam

http://lplive.net/shows/db/chesterbennington/20061108-2

Before taking the stage, the guys — along with a dozen friends and family (including LINKIN PARK's Mike Shinoda, AUDIOSLAVE's Tom Morello and PUDDLE OF MUDD's Wes Scantlin) — staged a last-minute rehearsal/jam session in an upstairs dressing room. With Bennington taking the lead on "Light My Fire", Farrell guiding the sing-along through "L.A. Woman" and Slash ripping straight into THE ROLLING STONES' "Sympathy for the Devil" (on acoustic guitar no less), passersby — and even the city fire marshals who came to break up the hallway cluster-fuck — stood with mouths agape in awe.

We had put that song in the set and took it out because the chorus has 10 voices singing on it, and live it just never sounded right. But during the Milton Keynes show, there was a fan in front of the crowd who had a sign that said "Play 'Hands Held High.' " Halfway through, I thought, we can't play the song because we aren't prepared — but I can give him the first half. So I just threw the verse in a cappella. In fact, we added that verse to the set, so that kid's sign essentially changed the set for the rest of the year. It was really cool.
