  1. Accident (Bleed It Out Demo): I've wanted to hear this since 2007. During the making of feature for MTM that was shown only in theaters at the Webster Hall showing, the band showed us the noise of the party in the background, and a different version of Bleed It Out as well, basically. I think the idea for this song was really cool, how they recorded an actual party that they had in the studio and infused it with this song. I would love to hear the original version that they had for this. Mike also claimed to have written over 100 different versions of lyrics for this song, so you know there is some good shit here.

Apparently it's going to be on the upcoming CD, unless they'll pull "Fear" on it and release another version.

  2. LPU11: November 15th

LPU12: November 16th ("a day" after the previous)

    LPU13: November 18th (two days)

    LPU14: November 21th (three days)

    LPU15: November 25th (four days)

LPU16: maybe November 30th? (five days)

This is just brilliant, I have never noticed before.

  3. Here's a list of what we should NOT count:

http://lplive.net/shows/db/2001/20010126-1 I don't think we should count separate performances on the same day. If we count Endsession/Seattle 2001 as two shows then we have to count Jimmy Kimmel Live and iHeartRadio Theater 2x in 2014 and also Madrid EMA 2010 + rehearsal 2x. That makes no sense, if they played the same day for a rehearsal or soundcheck party or something, just count it once. That means we can remove Sunrise 2011 preshow rehearsal etc from the count.

I agree with what you meant but not with how you wrote it. For example In 2008 the band played Lisboa then Madrid on the same day/date and according to how this rule was written we should count those as one which obviously doesn't make any sense.

  4. I would say if the songs are played acoustic or piano style by Mike and Chester like they often did at the summits there are LP performances!

But Chester is singing to some beats or Joe only pressed PLAY like they did in China this year...that is not a LP concert or performance

I get your state of mind but I have to disagree. Guitar is an instrument the same as turntables.

Also saying that we shouldn't add it because "Joe only pressed play" will lead us to ignore an imaginary example of LP playing at the Super Bowl (where the instruments are pre-recorded) and leave it out of the live guide?

If the show was promoted as "Linkin Park" this is a Linkin Park's show no matter how many band members actually was there, simple as that. The Shanghai one was a surprise so it's a bit tricky but then again it was more than one band member playing the band's songs. The same happened in Salt Lake City 2013 (Chester and Phoenix) and Beverly Hills 2014 (Chester and Mike).

  5. If the album is available for streaming only (not for purchase) is he must have EAN/UPC code? Or there is no exception and EAN/UPC always mean that it was available for purchase?

    https://s22.postimg.org/nqh4m0rzj/Untitled_1.png

Above image is just example (one of many).

Digital streaming gets the ISRC codes, but I don't think they "need" EAN or UPC codes since these are barcode methods for stuff on sale.

In your question you've used the word "available" and I think this is the tricky part because I guess you're getting these codes before the actual release, meaning that if the release was canceled the tracks still has the EAN/UPC codes even if one unit haven't sold yet. So this release from your example wasn't available for purchase but meant to be one.

  6. I prefer not to have such thread in the forum, it's something you can easily ask in the mp3/flac threads. If some download is corrupted you should post it in the related thread so the uploader or someone else will reupload the show so no one will get the corrupted file again.

You're getting a star for the longest title in the forum.

  7. What a great find.

A few things I've found out:

    - Leave Out All The Rest from Twilight soundtrack is 3:20 and listed separately from the single version (3:19) even noted as "Twilight Soundtrack Version" (USWB10807374 | 075678970115).
    - There's an instrumental version of Walking Dead by Z-Trip listed there (USHR10521562 | 720616252166).
    - 16 out of 19 songs from Stone Temple Pilots with Chester's Biloxi show are listed there (Big Bang Baby, Silvergun Superman and Hollywood Bitch aren't). There's a release date "2013-12-27" but not an actual release name.
    - We Major: "Green Lantern Intro" is listed there as "Introduce" and "Outro" as "We Major".
  8. What I've Done (Live From Soundcheck)

Breaking The Habit (Live From Soundcheck)

    Where exacly this was released?

Only this two songs was released from "Live From Soundcheck"?

When you bought a copy of Minutes to Midnight from Wal-Mart, a card came in the package that gave you a code and a link to visit to download .wma's of 'What I've Done' and 'Breaking The Habit' from this performance on the Wal-Mart website.

  9. Topic titles in this section should be:
    "[Request] Year-Month-Day City, State/Country {- Event} (Source/Format)"

    For example:

"[REQ] 2005-02-18 Anaheim, CA (Source 1)"
    Or:

"[REQ] 2005-02-18 Anaheim, CA - Music For Relief: Rebuilding South Asia (Source 1)"

AND PLEASE STOP USING ALL CAPS WHEN YOU ASK SOMETHING, it's the same language anyway.

I'm locking this thread, you can create another one with the right title format, and you should also edit you other topic title.

  10. After the complete surprise last year, when we've found that The Visionaries demo with Linkin Park was uploaded to Bandcamp 7 months without us getting notice, nobody even had the idea that it'll happen again so soon.

This time we are talking about a song called "Sailing Through The Clouds", which was recorded around 1999-2000 and completed around late 2015 by Zayed Hassan and featuring Rob Bourdon, Victor Agbo and Bill Burley.

In early October, Linkin Park did a mentoring session with Zayed Hassan, the grand prize winner of the Stagelight Monthly Music Contest, at Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles. During the sessions, Rob recorded drums for the song.

This is what Zayed wrote about the song in his SoundCloud page:

I started working on "Sailing through the clouds" back in 1999-2000. I only knew how to play guitar back then. Since I had no professional setup back then, so I used to input the midi notes from my guitar to my music arranging software manually- one by one. However over the time the tune evolved, harmony of the song took better shapes and elements of the song kept changing. Later when I started to collaborate with artists around the world, I asked many of my musician friends to contribute for this song. My sole purpose was to make a track, that speaks about different cultures and ethnicity, through the language of music!

You can listen to the song for free here, and/or purchase it via iTunes, Google Play or Amazon, and don't forget to check Sailing Through The Clouds page on Linkinpedia for updates.

  11. Since Linkinpedia is public now, there's no need to post these massive lists on the forum anymore, so a few of the current ones will be moved there completely, and newer lists we'll be posted only on Linkinpedia but will get a topic here as well for two reasons - archiving and discussing.

The current list is about all the live covers, collaborations, solos and any variation of a band or a band member playing other band's song (Mike as Fort Minor playing A Place For My Head for example).

This is the first version of the page and we might add some more information and notes in the future:

List Of Live Covers, Collaborations & Solos

Is there any incorrect infomation? Is there something missing? Is there a song you would like the band or a band member to cover?

  12. Hi, guys

    ...

    Hi Dmitry,

    1. As you can see in the main post there are stuff like "LPUX Teaser" listed, while the playlist for A Thousand Suns on LP's YouTube channel lists only videos with a specific "LPTV" in the title = actual LPTV episodes.

    2. Linkinpedia is the reason indeed, this page is in priority so you might see it soon in Linkinpedia. Surely we will post here when the page is ready.

    3. We cannot upload LPU content even if it's currently not there, but I'm sure someone already saw your request.

    4. No problem, especially since the Fort Minor Militia tracks are available for download.
