Studio version of And One played live. The 2000 version finished for Hybrid Theory.
No need for an official release, the song was just shortened.

They excluded US fans from it. It was international only. In fact the first one was UK/EU only and I thought that's what the second one was too until some fans in Mexico and South America mentioned it.
They shipped my replacements to a US address.

But Phoenix is actually involved in things lol, if they are writing music, he is a part of it so it's definitely happening. The band has said multiple times since 2019 they are writing music - who knows what it's for, it could be for them personally or it turns into a release one day. There's no doubt there is music happening; Mike's comment is referring to they have no music lined up for release, no album planned, and no tour happening.
I know that they will comeback and they are doing things.
Remember when Mike was working on Looking For An Answer and he discussed the song with the rest of the band?
Cant wait for their comeback no matter what they do I'll support them.

I’ve got Major news about the songs:
The rob drum track is “Healing Foot”
“Resolution” is likely to be the demo version of “Lost”.
I don’t know what “Wesside” and “Massive” are but will probably be brand new demos to us or possibly more complete versions of familiar demos.. Exciting stuff!!
Also, the special QR code could very likely be or include the original 2002 mix of Lost we’re getting also on the deluxe CD. Maybe it’ll be added at some point on streaming services too. That’d be really awesome.
Damn you were right about it holy shit.
Let's see what happens w your next prediction.
My apologies 😅

I heard literally just 20 seconds of HF to not spoil anything before April and it sounds like I predicted of how it's gonna sound with Chester vocals.
Question to everyone collecting media. What do you do with "Lost (2002 Mix)"? Do you will add it to the main folder of Meteora (20th Anniversary Edition) album? If yes, do you will add it as a 14 track ti the Meteora album (1st disc) or you will add it to the last disc as a 15th track?
14 track of Meteora by the way I wonder if they are going to add a transition from Numb to Lost

I loved every second of this, keep em coming you guys rock so much.
I wonder if you can do something like this with the Nu Metal Agenda once M20 drops and you do a review of the Lost Demos.

Would be cool, and possible, since it was shot on film too (except the close drumcam, which is DV), so it can rescanned in higher resolution.
releasing this show straight to vinyl was the perfect excuse to not create a remaster of LIT.

I'd be happy if they rename themselves back to Xero or Hybrid Theory and continue as a brand new band. Ask Mark whether he wants to rejoin, and crush the stage.
Yeah throwaway a huge brand that its worth millions of dollars.

I want to know exactly what they did to improve the quality
It's a massive upgrade I love what they did to Numb i love the new colors.
-
It's a really good song, I don't consider it a demo, with a better mixing it would be enough to sound similar to the album.
I don't think that Manny mixed this song.
Xeroboi said that Chester does some rap style vocals and actually he is right Chester does some backup vocals in the bridge similar to what he did in the Papercut chorus, it sounds badass.
the energy it's massive, too bad that Joe didn't scratch on this.

Thanks guys!
Okay so some more good news. I think the kid on stage released a CD in '03 and I just ordered it on Ebay. I think I also found a way to reach out to him, so after I get the CD, I'll reach out to him and see if that's him etc... I want to verify that's him and he can tell me stuff about that night without me asking etc... After I confirm it's him, maybe we could get to hear his side of the story that night. I know he was with LP signing stuff by the busses, and I wasn't out there since I was backstage the whole time, so I never heard his side. Could be cool!
So glad you guys are enjoying it!
fucking cool

im listening to it right now
thanks for this release man it means a lot to me, there's something really special about the sound of the band during this era
i love their raw passion.
This is one of the best bootlegs that i;ve ever heard i love it so much! specialy for your story, probably this is the only time that ive ever read something like this
and also been around since 2001.
thank you so much!!

I wonder what happened to that kid that did a freestyle w the band

I wonder what the process for getting these higher qualities out was. It is definitely not like they just had the videos we had before in higher quality and they had to reupload them. The new version of Numb has a different aspect ratio and a vastly different color grading for example. Here is the exact same moment from the Numb video, and as you can see the new one is much more vibrant.
Also what's really odd and I wonder if they are already aware of that: You get the original video upload when you select 360p instead of a downsampled version of the 4k version. Which is cool, that way it is easy to compare both versions. But the original 360p upload is totally out of sync with the audio. I assume audio for all versions is used from the new version while the old video had a shorter break in the beginning or something like that (that's why the screenshots have a different timestamp).
I wasn't able to find similar differences in other versions, but they seem to use the same base version of the video file for all quality options and I was too lazy to find a good upload of the original video quality.
FTI and Numb were recorded back to back. I guess that those videos were recorded straight to film and got a 4k rescan.

Do you know if the Mikes Shirt instrumental is an early demo instrumental or the same instrumental as the Manny Marroquin or Andy Wallace mix?
I always thought the music used in Mikes Shirt sounded like an early demo instrumental version and not the same instrumental as the finished version.
For example, Cumulus, was an early demo instrumental that isn't exactly the same as the instrumental for the finished More The Victim.
Manny started working w the band during LT, im not really sure if he also did ATS.

Confirmed
Resolution its the demo of Mark The Graves.

News? Without proof?
The theories about the Lost Demos tracks are getting really boring.

I don’t understand why they didn’t announce it in December so people would buy it for Christmas/Holidays. And then just have it release in March when the actual 20th anniversary was supposed to be, not April. I think maybe they weren’t going to do an anniversary but once they saw the demand put the idea together last minute idk. If not then whoever runs their merch and stuff like that sucks. I always thought Adam sucked too though, Lorenzo, all those people. But that’s just me.
Either way I ordered the super deluxe and I got the CD too so I can have the proper mix of Lost. Meteora is supposed to have guitar and the Manny mix of Lost has barely any.
A Christmas presale was the perfect moment for the announcement.
-
I'll buy the super deluxe version
But i wish that they offered an all digital version with EVERYTHING even the dvds.

Do we know for sure Bert isn’t on Faint at the Denver 2004 show? I know it’s not listed on the set but if I recall before we got the Bristow recording in 2019 he wasn’t listed on the set list on LPLive but we did do Faint with them. Maybe whoever provided the set back then forgot he came out. No big deal just wondering since I’m a big fan of The Used.
A proshot w Bert it's one of my personal holy grails i would be very disappointed if Snoop is not there.

Quite curious how the Mike's singles are so polarizing. Either you love them or despise them. But I really like that he's now a single-focused artist. Contrary to the album-mindset LP had. I always supposed that they had that ambivalent relation with studio
It's been a while since I LOVED a song by Mike
the only song that I actually thought that was amazing was Over Again, the rest of them are just decent songs.

Interview 1 and 2 are basically the same haha it's like a script
but ill watch all of them for sure.

The very last video that they put a lot of $$ on it was Final Masquerade, the production was really GOOD
its probably one of their best videos for sure.
Too bad that they chose the wrong song to spend that money.
