  1. I dont use spotify i dont like streaming music.. i prefer the oldschool way of having tons of flacs and wavs in my phone ready to rock. anyway here's my top 5 most listened LP songs from 2024 1 One Step Closer (From Zero Livestream) 2 Papercut (From Zero Livestream) 3 Heavy Is The Crown 4 Emptiness (From Zero livestream) 5 Crawling (Live From Nottingham) Honorablen mention Awolnation ft Emily Armstrong Jump Sit Stand March in case you havent listened to it its a must pretty sure that she can do Blackout after listening to that song.
  2. if you want to listen to crowd noise watch fan YouTube videos. i love the mix of every live video very balanced sound, clean and powerful. you fucking rock Ethan.
  3. fucking amazing i fucking love this show πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
  4. i didnt remember this fucking gold
  5. 500 wasn't insane that's what you get paid for one-week of work at McDonald's tons of band it was worth it.
  6. As some of you may know I have a 4 y.o daughter who loves Linkin Park since she was a baby, now that she's almost 5 she knows stuff about the band she has her own favorite songs right now Heavy Is The Crown and Cross Off (lol wtf) I've never seen anyone doing headbanging to the LP songs as my daughter for real. I know that its an odd question but I'm looking for advice. we watch videos from every era almost everyday. but now she is starting to ask.. where is Chester? why he is not with the band singing with Emily? and its kinda weird but that comment caught me off guard, made me feel kinda sad and I don't really know what to say to her. what should I do?
  7. just found out that you translate the whole posts am i annoying and crazy in portuguese too? πŸ˜‚
  8. The LOATR new guitar parts by Alex are really beautiful. I think that he's pretty fucking good he can play anything and I admire how he adapted so quickly to the band.
  9. Just heard again the Lost demo man I still think that the 'Thoughts that take away my pride' it's fucking GREAT and better than the final bridge. That vocal it's insanely beautiful and epic. Can't believe that we didn't got Healing Foot with the actual live drums, Rob took the song to another level with his drumming. Now it seems very impossible to get those tracks since the band it's trying so hard to move away from the past and being recognized as an active band not as the CB nostalgia tour, their strategy it's working they are so freaking successful.
  10. i dont think that the band will release old material for a while they are on a course about looking into the future. hell not even mentioning Chester in the booklet was weird. pretty sure that we will get new Chester stuff until MTM 20.
  11. Probably the guitar of fhe old songs sound different because they changed the key to fit with Emily's range. Where's the expert?
  12. I know nothing about playing instruments but Brad and Rob have a very specific sound that no one can replicate, their parts seem simple but the way they play stuff it's so unique. Would love to see a review from this topic from people who actually play instruments. @Astatcalling the wizard.
  13. I think that Mike saying ''and in the role of Chester bennington is each of you'' was more than enough to let us know. but yeah Chester not being mentioned anywhere in the booklets its a bittersweet feeling...LP wouldnt be here without him and also after Chester passed away he still found a way to have a #1 single with Lost which helped the band to become relevant again.
  14. Seems unlikely but everything that it's happening right now it's unlikely haha so who knows?
  15. 1 Hybrid Theory 2 Meteora 3 Minutes 2 Midnight 4 A Thousand Suns 5 From Zero 6 Living Things 7 THP 8 OMS As album FZ it's way stronger than 6,7 and 8 but there are some songs on LT and THP that are way superior than anything on FZ.
  16. Dude I need a post of you talking about what you think about Emily in detail 🀘 In my eyes she's like a female version of Chester... Her vocal power, versatility, the way she acts, she's funny, outgoing, etc She kinda looks like Chester a bit and has that sense of rock fashion that Chester loved.
  17. The band knows that Good Things Go it's a fan favorite hopefully they debut that song at MΓ©xico πŸ”₯
  18. The OML promo tour was pretty sad and Boring. Performing those awful songs in piano or acoustic versions to random crowds who didn't give a fuck was so awkward. There's a video of them performing at Spotify HQ and a girl in the back looks bored as fuck and instead of watching perform the band she's just checking her laptop. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I felt like Chester was acting like AJ from the BSB.
  19. Safe to say that she has the best voice in rock music from this era. Another thing in common w Chester... Both can sound beautiful and so evil. She's a beast.
  20. One of the best comments about this situation.. yeah it's definitely difficult because some of us will always miss Chester but you got it right. So far they are doing great at how they are handling the situation. You explained it perfectly man. I think that the only way that I could never forgive the band it's if they have a show on Chester's bday or during the week of his bday and they don't mention him at all. Without Chester Linkin Park would never be what it is.
  21. I don't think that it's a big deal but it sucks that they didn't mention Chester at all. Wouldn't hurt anybody to write some words for Chester or even dedicate this album to his memory. Definitely there's some kind of strategy to make people forget about him starting from now.
  22. I still haven't received my vinyl, does anyone know if they mention Chester in the booklet?
  23. Live in Texas kinda failed because it wasn't their show whoever decided to film a show where you are a support act was an asshole, even PR03 would have been a better choice. I get what you mean but I think that not many things will change in the setlist for 2025. Right now I feel like Emily it's really comfortable w the band she adapted very quickly to the band. Also releasing a film that quickly it's a pretty good strategy, they are having a massive tour next year and this is like saying "hey this is what you'll miss if you don't go to our tour" The whole team it's killing it w every decision that they are taking. By far this is one of the best revivals of the music history. I wonder how Brad is actually involved behind the scenes he's probably one of the reasons of why everything it so successful.
