  1. I felt the same way after the first listen, but after a couple dozen plays I love the album, or at least the first 2/3 of it. Everything up to "Tinfoil" is cool, and then it feels like they're filling time to drag out the end of the album. One of these days they'll end a studio album with Chester going crazy with screams instead of insisting on the soft pop ballad.

i really enjoy TLTGYA, messenger and powerless is bad though, especially messenger
  2. i'm very impressed overall with the album. powerless, LITE and BID are the tracks i usually skip, but the rest are all good with COG and RU being standout tracks for me. Overall i would give this a 8/10. Some pretty unique and fresh moments, enough to enjoy for a while. This would probably rank as my third favourite LP release behind reanimation and HT.

  3. This interview reads like something written by a total LP fanboy with little knowledge of actual musical composition. Pretty amateur stuff here, wouldn't be surprised if this falls into the "deceptive track descriptions" category that Mike's mentioned.

could not agree more, he speaks of LP as if they have been the rulers of music over the decade. As if this album will bring the end to world hunger. Waaaaay to much praise and it's like a worships the album. fanboy alert of note
