I think that we all should get back to discussing White Noise. So how does the song hold up,almost a week after release?

We need something like a Tempe/Arizona (music) historian, or someone who's able to check out the local newspaper archives.

It's not that hard but you definitely have a really hard time with amphitheaters without a car, public transport to those doesn't really exist. Getting a cab back might be a problem with all the after show traffic, and is going to be expensive if you are stuck in traffic. Arenas are usually directly in the major city centers, so that is a plus. Amphitheaters are not in cities, they are in tiny little shitty towns, and not even in walking distance from there.

but they won't play that on a regular tour, there are other small venues but they won't play them. If they do an arena tour it's MSG, if they do an amphitheatre tour in the summer it will be Wantagh.

Pretty much the only way to see them now directly in NYC is Madison Square Garden.

Don't you think he has some contract obligations playing these shows? I'm pretty sure to "not feeling like playing" works. It's exactly the same when you have a normal job and I don't think faking it would actually work for him. Even if Brad seems uninterested at times or bored, I doubt that it's enough for him to actually leave the band. I'm sure he loves making music and his career would be pretty much over if he left. I can relate to that he is apparently annoyed by the M&G's these days but he still shows up and he still has funny at the shows. He's not the most emotional person anyway.

And getting everyone at the M&G sick and possibly the whole band? great idea! Sometimes you are just too sick to travel and maybe his doctor told him not to.

aaaaand because of that apparently some people are thinking that Brad left the band and has been replaced by somebody else lmao. Another reason why they should tell everyone what the hell is going on. Telling a few people at a M&G is obviously not enough haha.

It seems like unless they are forced to cancel a show it's not worth commenting. We shouldn't learn about it through LPTV months later.

Apparently Mike said at the M&G that Brad is sick. What I don't understand is, when something like this happens there's literally no official comment about it. Just like in West Palm Beach this year, no one said what happened, what caused the show to be delayed and have a shortened set. People pay a ton of money for the shows and deserve an explanation. Doesn't even take a minute to say "We are sorry Brad couldn't be here tonight, he's sick and Benjamin plays tonight" that's it. But screwing with people is apparently better.
