It's incredible but it makes total sense. I suppose that he can't always control what is livestreamed or not, hence the Brazil 2014 disaster (the 2017 weren't that bad IMO, I think they were pretty decent). But now to protect the LP 2.0 brand he must have adopted this protectionist attitude, with some exceptions (last year show must have gotten the pass since they supposedly were going to release on its own), like this one. No Livestream will ever be perfect, and this one came very close. Let's enjoy what we have

Two things considered. Mike is a very diplomatic guy, he isn't going to tell you: Stop asking about the next boxset, it's too soon. If he tells you that there will be another boxset many people will spend the next two years thinking about some random demos from 2006 and stop paying attention for a rebirth he has put so much effort the last 4 or 5 years. Second, he's happy with his band right now. Last thing to do on his mind right now is thinking about how many shows from the Projekt Revolution 08 should he include on the boxset. Maybe by this time next year he will start to think about assembling the whole thing, maybe

Maybe they planned to release it at some point in 2025 but after seeing that their shows during 2025 were so good beyond their expectations, they've probably think that they have outgrown that show. They wouldn't be the first band that doesn't release a show because they realize that the recording has quickly aged badly (Depeche Mode and their 82 show at the Hammersmith comes to mind). Best case scenario? If they release a DVD of a 2025 show/shows and songs like Breaking the Habit or LOATR are included as bonus tracks since they aren't part of the regular set anymore
