I know its a hint for MTM20. But why would they put it now? MTM20 won't be available until May 2027.

For MTM 20 we'll have an entire CD and vinyl for all the studio rehearsals. Forget the live shows with audience. Who doesn't want 10 almost identical versions of WID?

lol if you really pay attention, which we haven't, we can see Fiore hiding shit right in our faces for 15+ years.

The Live in Texas TV special has proshot clips of the Seoul show, and it looks great. It also has proshot video of Tokyo Budokan Night 2, which would be great to have someday. That was an epic show, but Seoul is definitely the one to release from the tour as it was a stadium.

LPTV PR04 has Denver proshot clips all over it, which are easy to tell now because that venue has no roof like a traditional amphitheater. He's very smart with editing because he will hide it in the beginning, middle and end around other clips but if you pay attention, it's all there. How did we not recognize this years ago?

Entirely possible Manila footage is the stuff hanging out at the end of the LPTV Europe/Asia episode from before PR04 too, but we've never seen video/photos/anything from that show so we don't know.

All of this was hiding plain as day for years. Just like the PR02 DVD clip was hiding in the Making of Meteora when Don Gilmore was talking about Chester.

I don't know what else has been hiding during the other eras of the band....

    feeling things =/= being entitled.

and I have the right to call people entitled, just as much as you have the right to be offended by what I said.

Not offended, particularly, I'm enjoying the game, but your comment was disrespectful and condescending, like you were above the rest of the forum. Perhaps wasn't your intention man, but it sounded pretty bad

As a sidenote, this is more of a pet peeve and not really related to what you said, but despite including the Live in Texas audio via vinyl there's no CD with the ininterrupted concert or the video. Was kinda hoping the deluxe CD set would have that

    😕

Unpopular opinion here, I've never dig into Live albums on vinyl, even though is the complete show, you can't experience it as a whole (and meant to be). Every 15/20 minutes the concert gets "interrupted" side the side of the record ends, not to mention the fade in/out aren't always in the proper moment. For a entire live recording the CD is the best suited format. So, like you, that's my only complain

I have a doubt, can anyone tell me if the HT20 Super deluxe box set was limited when it was announced?

Why when the MT20 was leaked on the Warner website it said "Limited Super Deluxe Edition" will we have a limitation this time?

another question is, will the amazon store advertise?
I had problems with the HT20 box and had to buy it again, but I bought it through amazon.

Got my HT20 just a few months ago, don't worry you'll have plenty of time

Yeah... for example HT20 documentary had the same clips were used in other documentaries The Frat Party, Making of ITE and I think making of BTH. I think the clips you might hear in the new documentary will be just the ones you already heard in others documentaries and already released LPTVs.

I think that stuff like extended version of the Grr could be done by Fiore himself during the film editing, I don't remember how it sounds but at least the extended instrumental of TTMP of the verses (which he just loop) confirms that.

Was a documentary about HT20? Got no idea about its existence

That makes sense. Probably with Reanimation and then the band was finishing Meteora that year, they didn't want too many releases out there at once.

Yeah, agreed about the talking being cut. It's very strange and takes away from the listening experience. Glad we have the DVD but yes, one with the band talking would be great. They have that epic speech by Chester before My December that is cut out of the DVD and pasted into the The Sequel DVD. It looks like judging by The Sequel DVD, they may have more PR02 footage possibly of another show. And then Colorado Springs, maybe that was filmed too. We will see one day! :) Glad we have the show on HT20 though.

That show too??? For having "barely" 17 years of touring as signed artist, the LP live vault must be impressive

New divide was made in the ATS sessions, so it will go into that package. It doesn't make sense to do a 20th anniversary for a single.

You're halfway right (pun intended). Yes, it was made during that time, but made specifically for the movie, like a parallel movement. It doesn't even sound like the early ATS demos like Aubrey One or Tritonus. I'd really love to see it included in a proper package but I wouldn't be surprised if it's omitted

  8. Hi everyone, title sums it up, but I'll expand my ideas here anyway. From the Docklands Arena show back in 2001, to the 02 Arena '17 the band has professionally filmed a relatively huge amount of shows. And I'm talking about stuff worth of Live DVDs that can be commercially viable for mainstream audiences but most of them are shelved in the vault. Bands like Metallica have an enormous quantity of live material, but the 80% of that is mostly composed of venue feeds and SBD raw audio, which is more aligned with the hardcore fans. I was surprised that 2 shows from the PR02 were hidden up until this day, and with the upcoming boxset, I wonder how many shows throughout the years could have been filmed. Creating a DVD isn't so simple as put some recording gear in the mixing desk and let it running, that shit is expensive, so then why just record it if you're not going to use it at the end of the day?

  9. Besides each own personal age and connections with the band, I get why the Meteora era is more appreciated than HT. This is my theory (pun intended)

When HT came out and exploded, LP for general audiences were another one nu metal band, one of the best sellers, for sure, but their image and music were very alignated with the scene. Moreover the band was present in all of the cultural highlights of that movement: Ozzfest, Family values... Not to mention touring and supporting bands like Korn.

The Meteora era was the one when they really started to become a unique entity. Not just because the Nu metal was falling apart, but because their "urban" image that the mainstream audience has always attributed to the band, was developed during this 03/04 seasons. And for many that was their pike before "disappearing" and return as a very different band that many have outgrown.

In fact, when LP announced their last European tour in 2017, many people on Social Media jokingly said "LP in my country? That's so 04". That's why I also believe that the rest of the boxes won't be so successful

PS: Except for the OML, watching the "THIRD TO LAST SHOW BEFORE CHESTER'S PASSING" will be so tempting for many...

I can say for sure that at least Brazilian folks back in 2005 wrote like this all the time in MSN Messenger and Orkut. hehe

Here in Spain it was also very common back then to be writing in Spongecase. It surprised me when that kind of writing was resurrected. Perhaps wasn't so common in the P2P, but far from being a historical inaccuracy. But we all agree that Linking Park is such a cult classic.

If my memory from yesterday isn’t completely shot, the Deluxe CD had “Lost” added to the main album after “Numb,” and included the LPU Rarities as a second disc (much like Hybrid Theory 20th digi-pack CD included the B-Side Rarities).

I’m pretty sure the Deluxe vinyl was listed with LPU Rarities as 2 LPs and Live Rarities as a single LP.

The Live Rarities 2003/04 are also included on that version
