  1. Only a few minutes, but if anybody wants to listen the HQ Audio is here BBC_Radio_1_live_2015-08-23_20_26_53.partial.m4
  2. Unsure if this is known, but at approximately 10m:19s in Die Hard 4.0 / Live Free or Die Hard, a Hybrid Theory era poster can be seen on the wall of Matthew Farrell's (the character portrayed by Justin Long) apartment.
  3. Yeah I understand that, it's what I was meaning about enough time. But you look at other acts, and they spend a lot longer on stage - I thought the O2 had a curfew time until I saw Bon Jovi there. - Boils down to, a curfew of the venue (sound reasons or next event prep.); - They have to move all the kit to a new location within a day or two, so they have to finished on time to do that; - And Chester's voice might be put under too much pressure night-on-night if they stay on stage longer. A lot of bands have the same attitude as LP, but once in a little while, a longer set (extra 15m) would be awesome. They can take a break for 5, have a talk with the crowd/a rest and we feel happier with those extra 2 songs.
  4. Just watched the iTunes interview on the ITV website; Mike says for this gig he’s reminded of a venue in Chester’s hometown Phoenix, AZ. Out of curiosity had a look on that year and I see: 01.07.2001 Phoenix, AZ Blockbuster Desert Sky Pavilion (8,000 / 20,000) or 11.11.2001 Phoenix, AZ Veteran's Memorial Coliseum (14,000) He could’ve meant to say 2000, it’s hard to pinpoint memories 10 years ago. But got me wondering, how many small venue (<=4000 capacity) gigs have LP played? I was also reading some posts further back (like GraDoN #766) about talking in the show and I think that lines should be re-used each night. So long as they don't out and out lie by saying this is the best crowd we've had on tour at each night, it's fine. It is a performance. Most nights they will have great crowds and if those standard lines brings the crowd into the performance and excites them, then they should say it each night. But as Hahninator says, they aren't just saying everything the same (#829) which is awesome. On the other hand, I do believe strongly in taking a few minutes to talk to fans. What I miss are the little intermissions, kidding around, introducing a song, thanking the audience or fans, pick them up lines, side to side singing battles (think that would be sweet on W&K). Chester thanked the MFR auction winners at iTunes, but given that they are passionate about MFR, they should talk about it at each gig for 3 minutes or so - especially here where it would be televised because the message gets out that way. More dialogue should come back, but I can understand if they want to be professional (especially for televised) and give a solid performance with disrupting momentum. I do agree with Hahninator on #739 that they are rushing through the set a bit, but is this more because of time more than anything else? I always see the 1hour30-45 as a bit low in comparison to some other artists, but, its a good amount and I'm not complaining - I hear what I want and there isn't a lull. I do remember hearing Joe asking Mike at the Summit about enough time, so by not speaking are they trying to squeeze more in for us each night?
  5. @philporter Same story here, both about Summit and tonight. We'll hope. See you all there, we won't be hard to find in one queue! I'm aiming to be there at 5pm.
  6. @philporter I agree, but we will see what happens. Someone wrote previously that their may be a section cornered off for M&G people, however I suspect we will have to be weaving through the crowd to the front (we'll all do it together ) And were you at the LPU Summit in London Phil?
  7. I'm not so sure, we will see. In my opinion, iTunes Festival + Live Broadcast = No Real Risks. For all they know (I'm sure your awesome) you could be rubbish and that would kinda blow up in their face. But who dares wins right? Ask as a longshot saying you know its probably a no and then say "maybe next time then? "
  8. Just realised I meant to post this in here: In case people are wondering, I've been emailing about to get some answers. Tickets: Pick those up from Box Office, take the card you made the transaction with and some ID in case. You can if you want, ring the TicketMaster Customer Service and ask for the booking code (like I did) to be double sure (it's like 00000/00UK or something) Times: We've got emails from Apple and LPUHQ, both saying 18.15 approx arrival time. In terms of the M&G, I quote "will likely happen around 8 PM so if the opening band is playing at that time, then yes, you may miss the opening band". This was hinted in the info email and why I emailed LPUHQ, so it seems we may not get the pre-entry to the venue / front row that many ^ were hoping for See you all tomorrow, I'll the Ginger headed guy wearing an LPU 2.0 shirt

  10. Reading this, seem's like I got a bit of a bad deal - £200+ for VIP. It's stings a bit worst when I see the prices in here!
  11. For those that posted after me, as said previously, the YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eQCCHKSxg4) is not working, it never loads at least not for me (in all browsers) ; The number of views is going up, but very slowly (1 or 2 per day). It cannot be ripped with standard youtube software / sites like keepvid, as it is a RTMPE stream. TheGinge
  12. Hey all, Spent a few hours (of which I'm residing defeat) trying to rip a higher quality off of 4oD; I was not able to rip it using RTMPDUMP - kinda wasted time in the pursuit! I can post the RTMPE stream URL and the code I was running through RTMPE if need's be. The issue is that it is a RTMPE stream over 4oD and possibly over YouTube also. I've focused my attention over to the YouTube video, which is currently not even playing for me (UK). So I cannot rip that either. If it's not ripped and the YouTube video comes back online, I will do my best to get a rip. TheGinge
  13. Kramer is right, the lyrics are different by that one word. leftshoe18 has got it right too, I mean, if they can make Jedward sound slightly less horrific then I'm sure they can tweak the pitch of his voice.
  14. Hey all, Recorded both broadcast and iplayer afterwards (go go get_iplayer!), the latter turned out better. Anywho, ripped at 128kbit/s in MP3 if anybody wants it >>> http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5J3TKF5L -TheGinge
