The band has just released a new, acoustic version of their single from The Hunting Party, 'Final Masquerade'! While the band has performed it acoustically at various LPU Summits (Darien Center and Woodlands), this is a brand new version featuring a duet between Mike and Chester and a new guitar line than previous performances. Sorry for nor being able to maintain this site as much as i would have liked. Soul i haven't heard further about India tour after i last updated here. There was a bottleneck in the process where they asked for full payment so as to just give a guarentee of announcement of 2 shows. And when that was worked out , the only thing they said was when they'll start booking for Asia Tour they'll drop us an email. After that NOTHING . So much uncertainity sadly if it will happen or not . And looking at Phoenix's comments at Amsterdam summit , well , i can see why the booking agents are very much adamant in their dealings.

Yeah July-August was expected time-frame given to us and that was many months back , as they come closer definitely things will be put into place.

It is still being negotiated upon. Just a little informal chat with contact in organisers. translation of the part in hindi ( 3rd blue bubble) : And the part where they asked for 100 % fee in advance , is that settled ? Show in India is not yet dead. It's a waiting game for now.

Haven't heard from the contact in organisers in a long time regarding this. Last I heard was that when all was set and decided, LP booking agent (or whatever) asked for whole amount to be paid in advance just to announce the shows. No booking fee or even 50 % of the amount . 100%. Negotiations got stuck there i guess. Anybody has knowledge of the usual process regarding this ? Guys from Brazil ? By the way proposed time-frame was July-August 2015 for 2 shows in India.

From the source that i got info , this is the most likely the timeframe it will happen . But now according to latest info , the negotiations have run into trouble unfortunately. Everybody , isn't it norm to pay 50% of the fee or some booking amount to get the shows announced ? "They" are asking for complete payment beforehand just to announce the shows .

UPDATE : 1. India date has been pushed back along with Asia and Australia tour (mid 2015 or typical July August like LT tour cycle) 2. They are keen on South America tour which will be after carnivores tour (late oct - nov 2014) 3.More USA dates after South America ( not sure they will follow immediately or early next year) 4. South Africa is also being considered again ( no schedule for that) 5.Asia and Australia tour will be together All information i have got is from organiser who is in contact with booking agents for LP. I have copies of mails exchanged between 2 parties ( can't show though legal reasons) All of this is tentative, anything could change. I will be posting any more updates i get on LP India website

I always thought Not Alone was worked upon completely in MTM era maybe this was the 17th track of MTM. When released for DTD Haiti it was reworked or rerecorded.

Around the time High Rise was released , Chester mentioned in interview at Jay Leno show that there had been lot of screaming in LP vocal sessions a day before which is probably why that particular "Black Heart" performance was not upto the mark on Jay leno show. Maybe remaining songs on album have screaming or other songs that may not end up on album .

Went for site-check with the organiser for Linkin park show at Buddh International F1 Circuit, Delhi a few days back . Had a look at the possible venue for LP show there. Recently it was host to deadmau5 and Megadeth (replacements for STP for that damn Feb 16 show) . Also LP management asked for a second show in India so exploring possibilities in Mumbai and Bangalore , venue check going on in both cities these days . Now we have a definite timeframe for the shows , either it will be late November or late January/early February. Also i got this info that it won't be a full fledged Asia tour , most likely special shows like South Africa got in LT tour cycle.
