Linkin Park Returning To Honda Civic Tour In 2013?
zerothree replied to hahninator's topic in Newswire
This. Another idea would be Fall Out Boy as they have just reunited or whatever and they have done the HCT tour a long time ago. -
Linkin Park Returning To Honda Civic Tour In 2013?
zerothree replied to hahninator's topic in Newswire
I think the photos are stock photos from HCTs past. The band fun. is a possibility. Although they didn't form in high school, they may have met in high school. And as somebody else has said, The Black Keys also fit this criteria. Somebody also mentioned Red Hot Chili Peppers. Personally, I don't believe that Linkin Park will be back for the HCT. EDIT: If it was fun, that would explain "The trip to LA for you and a guest will include air, hotel and fun!" -
I'm glad that this was uploaded as an LPTV episode rather than to Music For Relief. Linkin Park, and Mike especially, are trying to promote MFR and their current focus and cause. Uploading this video to Music For Relief alone would have seen minimal exposure and this is only further proved by If this wasn't an LPTV episode, it would not have made it to the LPLive newswire, therefore promoting it further. Also, SRS is not officially affiliated with Music For Relief. It is a private project between Mike & Andrew. I think it's awesome that Mike was able to actually go to Haiti and see the impact of SRS on the people. Hearing that they are in the top ten employers in Haiti is fantastic, too. What an incredible effort from Mike, Andrew & SRS.

Ever since the fan survey, I have been wondering how long until we hear more information on Linkin Park: Recharge. I wish I could get a Beta code because I am really interested in this. It looks really good. In regards to whether it will be available on any other platform other than Facebook, I don't believe that it will. The whole idea was to interact socially via Facebook to raise awareness about current issues in the world and Music For Relief. This sounds really ambient. I can't wait to hear more.

This tour saw Linkin Park come to NZ for the first time since Minutes to Midnight so I was very happy to attend my first show. As it was my first show, the setlist didn't matter at all because they would all be my first experience. I have no reason to complain about the tour. I am looking forward to seeing what Joe Hahn has done with 'Mall' and hearing the soundtrack and score for it. I also cannot wait to see what LPLive has up their sleeve in terms of exclusives (:

''System'' the most underrated Chester B. song
zerothree replied to JZLP-Benningstrong's topic in Side Projects
Jonathan Davis' instrumentation on this track compliments Chester's voice so well. I have always considered this to be one of Chester's best performances. -

Awh man. I was honestly looking forward to getting the DSP for the NZ show -
21.02.2013 - Auckland, NZ - LPU Summit #8
zerothree replied to hahninator's topic in Previous Show Discussion
I don't see a reason to complain. This is the first setlist that NZ has seen since Minutes to Midnight so the setlist, although used throughout 2012, was a perfect fit for NZ. Linkin Park aren't performing setlists for the people who are sitting at home & researching setlists, they're performing it for the audience who haven't seen them since 2007. P.S. Mark, do you need photos of the setlist, tickets or summit pass? -
21.02.2013 - Auckland, NZ - LPU Summit #8
zerothree replied to hahninator's topic in Previous Show Discussion
Set B opens with APFMH and closes with a medley of LFY, Papercut and one other which I can't remember. It was sitting on Joe's decks at the Summit. Stone Sour were fucking awesome. Chester was praising them when Linkin Park came on stage. -

Castle Of Glass CD Single Impact Date: 12 November
zerothree replied to michalangelo's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Well then, congratulations Damian for losing your post virginity. And I shall keep you updated This haha. 5" is ridiculous. You either get vinyl in 7" (or 45rpm) or 13" (33 1/3 rpm). -
2013 Live Poll: What songs do you want to see added to the setlists?
zerothree replied to hahninator's topic in Live Talk
- Wretches & Kings - P5HNG ME A*WY - It's Goin' Down - Reading My Eyes I don't want to add rare songs to the setlist just so they're not rare anymore. I genuinely believe these songs would be so much fun to hear live. -
Castle Of Glass CD Single Impact Date: 12 November
zerothree replied to michalangelo's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Welcome to LPLive Damian. I hope you enjoy your time here. As for the scans, I will do them when the CD single arrives however I'm sure somebody will beat me to it as I still have a while to wait before my disc arrives. -
LIVING THINGS - Australian Tour Edition
zerothree replied to zerothree's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Was thinking the same thing. It's obviously just Warner trying to squeeze a last few sales out of LT. I would have preferred rare lives or a few remixes or something to lives that were already circulating in mediocre quality. Would you like me to sort you out with a copy or something? Mail me if you want. -
The Australian Tour Edition for LIVING THINGS has now seen it's release. What are your thoughts / opinions? Personally, I thought that it would be released in as a digipak but unfortunately it is the same packaging as LIVING THINGS with an extra disc added and the added tracklist on the back. EDIT: The tracklist mentions that New Divide is track one and In The End is track two however it is the other way around. Also the mixing for the two Rock im Ring live tracks is not great.

Places You've Heard LP When Least Expected
zerothree replied to RogueSoul's topic in Everything Linkin Park
I heard Numb / Encore at a club in the weekend. The first thing I thought about was this thread haha. -
Here you will find an interview with Chester from New Zealand's Radio Hauraki. This is the second radio interview Chester has done in the lead up to their one-off NZ show in Auckland. http://www.hauraki.co.nz/player/ondemand/l...-park-interview

I am wanting to create a full list of all Linkin Park releases from the LIVING THINGS album cycle. I would also like to include international releases, rare item release if there are any (e.g. Gundam from the ATS era) etc. Please help me to complete this list. Should LP renew their contract with Warner?
zerothree replied to JZLP-Benningstrong's topic in Everything Linkin Park
This is a relatively misinformed comment so please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't believe a lot will change on the direct LP front however I think discontinuing the Warner contract will allow room for side projects to grow e.g. Machine Shop Recordings amongst other projects. Warner seems to stem projects which makes me wonder if Mike has been abstaining from a new Fort Minor album until the contract with Warner has ended. As I stated before, a misinformed statement so please feel free to correct me. EDIT: Just read above statements about Machine Shop. Damn that's a shame because Mike & Brad were super passionate about MSR. -
THIS. THIS. THIS. I watch Live In Texas just for this and A Place For My Head. A setlist including P5hng Me Aw*y, LITE and POWERLESS would make me a happy boy. I already know that the rest of the setlist will be a wicked set of hits but these three need to be in there. I'm not normally a big POWERLESS fan but I can imagine it being such a good live performance.

Would I be right in saying that the link in the original post is the one that the LPU were supposed to get a free download for ? Because a ) I didn't get a code and b ) it's just downloading now saying that i purchased it. I am so confused right now.
-
Apologies for the double post however the Nü Metal Mixtape has been released. Visit mikeshinoda.com or Mike's Soundcloud to hear the mixtape in full. Did not see the second page of posts . . . Awkward.
-
Nope. Keep an eye on his soundcloud for updates. This is where he has released all other mixtapes & assuming from his previous tweet he will release the Nu Metal Mixtape here too.

I'm not sure what to think just yet. It feels slightly Julien-K ish but it doesn't seem like it's THAT exciting. but it's not bad. It's just your average slow paced electro rock track.
