  1. I really think it will. Even if they don't want to do another huge box set like this HT release, I wonder if they would consider a 20th anniversary reissue of Meteora maybe with at least a bonus disc or 2 of stuff.
  2. The ironic thing about HT20 is that, without question, HT is the era with the least amount of completely unreleased material. That's why there's only a few songs on this release that we know absolutely nothing about and haven't heard in any form. A box set for Meteora 20 could definitely be insane, I agree. Especially if Mike finds those Meteora remixes. Imagine one CD of unheard Meteora demos and B-Sides, including some with vocals, and another disc for the remixes... By the way, if those Meteora remixes ever do surface, I'm definitely taking credit for reminding Mike about them on Twitch. LOL
  3. This would be the best time to do it, for sure. HT 20, during quarantine. This is probably the best shot to have his schedule free enough and everything align right to make it happen. Of course, I'm not sure how much specifics he would remember about some of these songs, but it would be a great opportunity nonetheless and I'm sure we would get some great info/cool stories about HT and that entire era.
  4. I first heard that on the LPL stream with Mark and Astat, but apparently that info was revealed in a Rolling Stone article about the release. EDIT: Look at this article. "The third disc, Live Projekt Revolution 2002, will boast an hour of unseen live footage from Las Vegas and San Diego, plus a 45-minute sequel to Frat Party, dubbed The Sequel to the Worst Name We’ve Ever Come Up With, that will boast previously unavailable backstage footage and interviews."
  5. A mixture of San Diego and Las Vegas.
  6. For him to be trolling, Mike and Chester both would have had to simultaneously remember a specific song that doesn’t actually exist. It’s real. We just don’t know if it’s Could Have Been or Dialate or something else entirely.
  7. Theoretically I could see them releasing the Crawling demo, but that would be 2 songs from the Forgotten Demos disc. More likely, if they did another pre-release song, it would be something like the Rock Mix of OSC or ITE from the LPU CD.
  8. Adam all but confirmed that Pictureboard is being saved for release day.
  9. It will bother a lot of completionists and collectors out there to know that there's a vinyl technically included with the release that they won't be getting. So they have to choose between either not having it, or buying it and therefore having duplicates of the other 3 vinyls. Hate to say it, but it feels like they had to have known that would be the situation, and still did it that way. Personally I would rather pay $200 and have all of the items included in the release, and it may bother me to have a vinyl missing, but not so much that I would buy another box set just to have it lol. At least it's the B-Sides vinyl and not HT EP, HT, or Reanimation. That's probably the biggest issue I can see with this release. We know LP themselves didn't make that decision, and from Mark's stream with Adam I don't think he made that decision either. It had to be the marketing team at Warner.
  10. I got that feeling too, like they went to plan B after the info started leaking. It's all good, though. It was a really cool way to get the buzz going before the huge announcement today.
  11. I hate to keep bringing up The Beatles lol but I only remember this because I was following all the pre-order stuff. What they did during the pre-order phase for their anniversary releases was to release the album version of a song, remastered, and a demo of that song. For example, when they announced Abbey Road pre-orders, they released Something (remastered), and an early take of that same song. So for LP, if they did have HT remastered, the equivalent would be like if they announced pre-orders and released the album version of APFMH (remastered) and Esaul. That would be great, and my point is that there's precedent for bands doing that.
  12. I would love it to be Esaul, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it were a demo of ITE or Crawling.
  13. This release would still be happening for sure.
  14. To be fair, Mike has had question redemptions closed since before this promotional campaign even started. He was just so backed up that he still is working his way through them.
  15. Amazing post. Thanks for that! Definitely agree that this needed its own post. I hope this isn't a red herring lol because this plot twist is just too perfect. Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw the parallel to Carnival of Light! Their poor fanbase has been waiting for 52 years and counting lol
  16. WE WILL THE SONG PICTUREBOARD!!!
  17. The fact that Mark and the band are on good terms leads me to think they have no reason to exclude him/ It's not like there's any kind of bad blood that would make it awkward. It's a celebration of HT, but the foundations of HT were laid with Xero. Any Xero songs that weren't re-recorded with Chester shouldn't be excluded arbitrarily. Mark left, which we can all be thankful for since his departure opened the door for Chester to come in and take LP to unimaginable heights.
  18. 4P7LYE caps sensitive. It worked for me a few minutes ago.
  19. Yeah, I took the "Just make sure you keep these secure" line to be a reference to Mike revealing it way too early lol
  20. I love how the band took Mike's accidental slip on his stream and made it part of the hype for HT 20. "Mike, I’m going to have Ryan send everything over for you to review. Just make sure you keep these secure." 😂
  21. I'm honestly already hyped at just the thought of ATS 20. Amazing album, and the imagery of the ATS era was really cool. It will make any box sets look amazing. Also, no, I can't imagine this whole thing is leading up to just HT remastered with a few bonus tracks lol.
  22. You’ve been asking questions like this for the entire thread. We don’t know lol. That’s the whole point of the band doing it this way. We know the same info as you do, and all of that info is in here. I promise you, as soon as finding out solid details is possible, it will be posted here immediately.
  23. Honestly, I would probably laugh before the disappointment actually sunk in.
  24. He was explicitly talking about Friendly Fire when he said that. Somebody asked him to play it during the stream, and he laughed it off by saying something like "Yeah right, let's just debut a brand new Linkin Park song with Chester's vocals on a Twitch stream," and then wound up saying "You guys are going to have to wait literally years to hear that stuff".
  25. I've beaten solitaire on their site twice now. I'm at work, and bored, and that game really is an excellent time waster. Thanks LP! Lol
