    "Set B13"

Why can't people just be satisfied. Look at the things you DID get. Most bands don't listen to what fans want anyways and 99.9% of the stadium won't care. STOP WHINING. And honestly, SOTD and Iridescent sound awesome live and Chester needs 'break songs'. Would you rather a few soft songs with Chester's voice intact or a string of concerts with only heavy ones and his voice dying?
  3. Yeah, that seemed like a kickass show, I'm jealous of them haha. I'm happy I'm seeing them them in Montreal, they have a huge gap between, so Chester should be well rested. As for depending on the venue- aren't most arenas ~ the same?
  4. I've been to quite a few concerts and I've never seen Linkin Park yet. I've always found that the vocals always seemed muted in concerts and the instrumentals overpowered. How is the balance in the Linkin Park shows? The balance seems good from all the audience recordings I've seen but the recordings of the concerts I've been to also sound a lot better when recorded. Just curious (:
  5. Haha I'm excited to see what tonight will bring If there is P5hng Me A*wy or Easier to Run I might pee myself
  6. Hopefully not -.- People like that ruin it for everyone.
  7. How are they cheating you? Are you going to every show? If not, then don't complain. Most of the people at a show go to only 1, so it makes no difference to 99.9% of the people there.
  8. Damn... That was a little harsh lol. Edit: I just watched Blackout live haha. On the album, Mike's part is actually my favourite part (even though I think he should sing less and rap more). But... It's pretty weak live and Chester's part was quite a bit above my expectations... Damn.
  9. I agree. I love Shadow of a Day and Leave Out All The Rest live.
  10. I agree... The more they do for the fans, the more they complain.
  11. I love how much fun they're having
  12. To those of you that have seen LP before, how is the balance? I've been to a lot of concerts and I always find that the vocals are turned down way too low and I can barely hear the singing.
  13. Lol yeah I realized x) Thank god brad doesn't have to sing... Hopefully they don't cancel any :| And that they're all good for Feb 7th
  14. Why are you worried about brad? :S Edit: Nvm... saw twitter. Hope he gets better
  15. I have 4 tickets to montreal lol but I sent you one... I noticed that you put x1 tickets... do you want the other 3? :S
  16. Basically summarized haha, exactly what I think x) And the reason - there are many talented bands out there, but it really takes a special something to get yourself noticed. And for a lot of people, it happens to be Chester's voice.
  17. I'll send you Montreal EDIT: Sent
  18. Lol well yeah I was just throwing it out there... And I never said MIKE could hit all the notes, just that hitting the notes does not make someone a good singer. And I hate Axl Rose's voice, but yes he can sing. I just don't find Mike a good singer And well, maybe I 'interpreted' it wrong, maybe other people do. All of it is a speculation. Personally, I am a huge fan and I have like 700 LP tracks on my comp x) but I'm not someone who agrees with everything Mike does haha. And sometimes, it takes getting bored to be good at something. You think I wasn't bored perfecting piano for 10 years? Sacrifices need to be made sometimes.
  19. It's not Mike's VOCALS that are annoying me personally... I would love it if he rapped more verses. Of course I acknowledge the fact that I do not know the band or their exact roles, however, this is how I interpret the situation - Mike is an extremely talented person, one that I would consider a genius in his level of creativity. However, he is trying too hard to be good at everything instead of mastering a couple of things. He is an incredible rapper, but he is not adding to that anymore. He can play piano and guitar, but are not improving at those either. Singing is a natural talent, one can hit the notes with perfect pitch and still not be an incredible singer. To me, Mike is an average singer (he's not bad, but there is nothing that attracts me about it), but he is unwilling to accept the fact that he is not an excellent rapper/producer/keyboardist/guitarist AND singer. He'll have to accept the fact that Chester is better eventually...
  20. I think poor Brad's contributions to the band is greatly underrated and under appreciated. Additionally- while I agree that Mike is indeed the "brain" of the group, I think Chester is the extra 'oumph" that made LP what they are. The voice and even more so, the charisma and character that he has brought to the band. His experiences make the songs more real to me and more inspirational.
  21. You won't regret it! Haha. I'm seeing them this tour as well, have fun! You are lucky you don't have to wait in line haha... I'm going to the Montreal show on Feb 7, and I'm going to have to wait for 8 hours in the coldest month of the year x) And well, the bodily functions issue too. For 2 concerts, I went for like 12 hours without peeing because I had to keep my spot in line x) lmfao
