They said they were putting the song on iTunes after the game came out sometime.

I don't care whether Blackbirds leaks or not. If it leaks then well and good, I can listen to it. I'm pretty sure all of you would agree with me when I say that I've waited long enough. Even If it does leak, I will still buy the song and the game on itunes, and possibly a T-shirt as welll. xD If it doesn't leak, I'll still buy the game anyway. What suprise is there to spoil? You get the suprise whenever you hear the song for the first time! It shouldn't matter if it leaks before the actual release date, because If you are all true LP fans, you would buy the song anyway.

I think that "Blackbirds" is based off the 6th string song demo, but it was re-written with LP's new style for the game. You can tell that in both Not Alone and Blackbirds there are some fort minor beat samples. And their new style has that fort minor influence. Not Alone has some fort minor influence, there just wasn't any rapping because it's hard to rap about something like an earthquake that has killed many people and destroyed many homes and villages.

I don't think they recorded it in 2007, because this definately sounds like to me what the new Linkin Park style is.

Is anybody ever going to realise that they are taking their time to be the best they have ever been with this album? That was their goal with Hybrid Theory and Meteora. With M2M, they experimented, and with the fourth album, they have their solution. My point is, LP tried to make Meteora sound "epic" as if their first album wasn't epic enough. They are trying to make this album even more epic than Meteora. They are not experimenting anymore, they are back in the same songwriting process as HT and Meteora. Meteora was made from around 80 demo ideas. Minutes to midnight they had 120. This new album we have been hearing about, Mike has said they have only made around 60. My theory is that the less demos per album, the better the album. Mike has said that they are also spending more time in the studio and coming up with all kinds of stuff. They have finished 5 songs, and are working on another batch of 5. Be patient people, I'm sure we will all have 8 Bit Rebellion + the new song in the next few weeks. BTW, in the game we will get to unlock each individual track of the song, and they all come together to form the song in the credits, so it may be possible for people to create instrumentals/acapellas from it. > DJ Intensity
