Victimized, nu metal? I'm not a nu metal hater, but this song is very very very very far from the nu-metal standarts. It's more of a punk-rock-electro-hardcore-hip-hop songs...that genre don't exist, but well, you can't really categorize Victimized. Also, the guy singing at the end of UIB is Brad, it was said in an interview

I'm lazy, so I'm will quote what I said on LPA... This album is f*cking freaking amazing. And to be honest, this is the first time I'm saying this after a new LP release. With MTM and ATS, I was disappointed at first. This album just blew me away with the first listen. It's energetic, it's weird, but weird in a good way. Lost In The Echo is....I don't even have words, I was smiling all the way the first time I heard it. Castles Of Glass and Skin To bone and Until It Breaks....This is what I wanted ATS to be. I usually prefer LP more heavy stuff, but those 3 songs were magic. And now, Victimized.....If LP ever made an entire record with this style (well, with longer song), it would instantly become my favorite record! And I'm being serious. This song represent what I've always wanted LP to be. Heavy, but weird as fuck at the same time. The only song that didn't really amaze me is In My Remains. This one is maybe a little bland. All, in all, this record will probably become my second favorite from LP, after HT. I can already tell I'm gonna enjoy this way way way more than ATS, MTM, and Meteora.

10.06.2012 - Moscow, Russia - Maxidrom

First, props to LP Russia for organizing the flashmobs, wheter they were bad or not is just opinions, the main fact is that they organized flashmobs and had fun, so it's all good. Now, into this.... Ok, I'll be honest, and say I was expecting a reaction like that since...well, since the begining of the tour. Because watching the crownds reaction show after show, I was thinking the f*cking same. Now during LP shows, most of the people are just standing there, filming the show. They don't jump, they don't mosh, they're just f*cking silent + filming. I can understand some want to have souvenirs from the show or whatever, but how can you be enjoying a show if you just focus on your camera? Yes, it allows us (those who aren't going to the shows) to see the show after. But I would honestly prefer if the people right there just enjoyed themselves and didn't focus on filming the whole thing, even if I couldn't see the show on youtube then. Filming A Place For My Head? What? You should just go insane in the pit... -
If Qwerty made it into this set, it would be bad. Because I would so f*cking jealous of the f*ckers who would enjoy that setlist!! Anyway, yes, I agree with the crownd reaction. They should be moshing as ever, instead of filming it. But at least, it did let us see that performance.

I think Mike's post is more about the hype than about getting us buy the record. He know that most of the people who read his blog are hardcore LP fans who have already preordered LT anyway, so listening to the leak would not make them not buy the record, it would just makes them listening to it earlier. The way I see it, he's just trying to make Living Things release more special to some people. It's like the longest you wait, the bigest the excitement will be. And there's a weird feeling when you get the physical record in your hands, but you don't know how it will sound. Of course, it can sound like a "buy the record" argue to those who haven't preordered. But to those who have done it, it's just about the surprise/hype/.... I fully understand it might sound a little over-the-top to some people however

Don't jump up the guns on Crawling being dropped, I'm almost sur it will be played again at other shows Anyway, Blackout + Lies + APFMH + Given UP ...wow, I bet this set won't last long, good way to break Chester's voice

01.06.2012 - Adenau, Germany - Rock am Ring

Personnaly, I have never said I judged LP perfomance. Seeing the youtubes videos, I'm sure it was great. Energetic, good Chester vocals, ect. I think people are disappointed of the lame crownd, not of the band. Because it wasn't supposed to be a lame crownd, it was supposed to be a freaking rocking crownd. Seeing all thoses guys standing silent while they were all going insane in the past of RAR performance, it sucks very hard I'd say. You can't compare that to the early 2000 shows. LP wasn't famous back then, hardly anybody gave a shit, but it was more "logical". Back then, LP was just a little opening band that had everything to proove. Yesterday, they were headlining one of the biggest festival in the world. -

I knew it. As soon as LP announced they would have a new record out this summer, I knew people who wouldn't like the album would say this. Exactly this. The whole "It was too soon to make a new record, they rushed the process, they should have taken more time to make something more awesome". First, if LP members think this album is good enough to be released, I don't see why they should take more time to rewrite songs again and again. It would just lead them to "overthink" a song for the sake of it, and THAT would be dishonest. Second, you're being negative about the whole record while you have only heard 2 songs (well, 3 with Tinfoil). 3/12. The 9 other songs must be irrelevant. -

WTF Rock Am Ring?! That crowd was so shitty I feel bad for LP. And it's even more lame for a crownd who used to be great during LP shows. I'm not even interested to see proshots of this anymore. -

Freaking rocking fabulous great setlist!!!!!!!!! So much energy. New intro. APFMH. With You. POA. LGM. Medley. Sabotage. = mind blown I'm so happy they didn't dropped the old songs after the show at House Of Blues. Also, it's impressive to see how they managed to play the oldies with 99 % of their singles! The medley is the best idea they've had for a setlist since years. I mean, it's very beautiful, and it let them play 3 soft songs in 1 song, which leaves more place for energetic songs in the setlist. Congrats, LP. And thank you. EDIT: and also, Chester singing face to face with that guy during Crawling was funny and awesome! -
I just feel like a lot of people hate this song because of how electro it is...Like you know, the common "it's not rock, it's pop electro bullshit, and where are the GUITARS????". Or close-minded things like that. That's where most of the complaints on youtube are coming from at least. Sure it has its bad sides, but it's nowhere that terrible or "worst lp song ever".

Great great track!! I wasn't expecting it to sound like that at all, but what a killer song! Also, it was nice to see this connection between Mike and the fans during the BBC show:)

Qwerty18 replied to hahninator's topic in Previous Show Discussion
Chester hates this track, not the band. I think someone in the band has to really like it and really wanted to play it again, since it's certainly not Chester who came with the idea. Awesome that they did it btw -

WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm like jumping alone in front of my computer lol....I'm so glad they played it again!! Also, Tinfoil, Sabotage, POA, Blackout, BID, POA....this setlist is freaking great, seriously -
I was going to post about those same 2 songs

I like what I've heard, even if it sounds very dancy so far. Need to listen to the full song for judgment. Also....I just have a weird feeling, as I'm both happy and dissapointed at the same time. Happy to have finally get a snippet, but....disappointed to have listened to it! After those 2/3 weeks of waiting, I should probably have wait until monday for the full song. Oh well....ahah

Spin.com: New Song Titles & A Collab On The New Album!

Yep, I had the same feeling some days ago. And this feeling was empowered by the poor quality leak and the super-catchy chorus in it. Guess it's good news for LP if it turns to be true
