  1. What's your solution, Mark? Band has 7 albums and most of the stuff in terms of vocals was Chester. You just can't skip the biggest hits. Mike is not able to sing higher notes like Chester. Maybe for screams he can use that electronic voice effect from Papercut, but for clean singing in higher notes... there is no technology for that if we're talking about live shows.
  2. New singer is necessary. I think In The End chorus was pretty good, but Bleed It Out? It was terrible. Don't get me wrong, I love Mike, but it is too much for him. He has good voice, but Chester's vocal range was huge. Mike said he wanna play old stuff like One Step Closer etc. at shows. There are only two options - New singer or leave LP name and found a new band. I don't wanna be at shows with playback or crowd singing Chester's parts. That would be karaoke. Just my opinion.
  3. Post Traumatic is fucking great. Lyrics, beats, message...I love it and I want more new songs. It is basically FM stuff. I've always loved Mike's hip hop stuff. Anyway, we know LP will continue. What do you think about the future of the band? Can we expect a new singer? Or Mike will be the lead singer? I hope the Hybrid Theory philosophy will stay. I don't want just one style. That would be boring, but I want definitely more rock stuff.
  4. I don't agree with Tommy being permanent LP vocalist. For couple shows ok, but not forever. Pure metalhead wouldn't be good fit for a band like Linkin Park. Aaron Lewis or Johnny Santos would be great. At least for me.
  5. I got message from my friend that her friend saw some twitter comunication between Mike Shinoda and Tommy Vext. Tommy filled in for Ivan Moody in Five Finger Death Punch this summer. He sings in band Westfield Massacre. If this is true, he will be only guest vocalist for LA tribute and maybe Japan shows. I don't think he would be permanent member of Linkin Park.
  6. In my opinion there will be no shows until next summer. Only show this year will be tribute concert for Chester in LA. Japan shows are too early for them.
  7. You can't replace Chester. That is impossible. I agree with Geki, they should continue as a 5 piece. Mike leads and Phoenix backing vocals. BUT they need a new keyboard player. Mike can't plays the keyboards and sing at the same time.
  8. I would love to hear some heavy songs with Mike. Rebellion, No Roads Left, Step Up and So Far Away are great. I think he can sing some Chester's stuff. Especialy slower songs. I know there will be no screaming with Mike as a lead singer, but that's ok.
  9. No. This is guitar driven song. According to Kerrang TTM is something like The Killers. Chimming guitar tone plus groovy bass line.
  10. Guys, do you remember Dredg? That band who opened for LP in 2011? Their last album Chuckles and Mr. Squeezy was a little bit indie. I think new LP's album will sounds similar.
  11. Hey guys, I need help. I can't sign up to LPU. I fill in everything and then nothing. I click on Sign Up and nothing is happening. Please somebody help me I need LPU
  12. Hey guys, I have question. Some douchbage pissed me off on facebook with lp live sound. What is the difference between analog and digital guitar sound live? Is everything really live? I don't mean samples, I mean guitar sound. You know, last year in Rybnik I was standing in front of stadium and I heard something like soundcheck. I went to pale and through it I saw some people on stage, maybe techs. The main thing is that Papercut played live and nobody played the guitar, drums etd. Vocals were playback too. It was really far from me, but I hope I'm wrong and LP is not playback band. Can anybody explain this to me? Thanks. Sry for posting into two categories. I want to get quicker response.

  14. Thanks. I just wanted to know if they play every guitar parts. I mean Mike and Brad. If their techs help them with playing from the backstage. So answer is no. I had to ask. Thank you for explanation Like I said before I'm not musician. I don't recognise everything on stage.
  15. Glad to hear it. I thought he uses fucking playback. Maybe I have one more similar question. Mike said in some interview or LPU chat they don't play everything on stage live. I've noticed their guitar and bass engineers are in the backstage with instruments. I'm not musician so I'm litlle bit out. Can anybody explain this to me? Thanks BTW. Chester should quit screaming. I like screaming but I think it's time to sing only clean. He is almost 40 and in ten years? I dont know but I can't imagine his screaming in 50. They can play heavy without screams.
  16. Sry guys, I have something off topic. I had weird feeling about Chester in Rybnik. I don't know maybe I'm paranoid. I've noticed especialy during screaming parts he doesn't screams whole bridge. He stop screams last 2 seconds and there is still scream. Is it some echo or he uses playback? I've noticed this thing in some videos on youtube as well. Please tell me I'm wrong with playback.
  17. the band has confirmed that they won't be playing multiple setlists this tour. Source? Jim Digby said that LP have 3 different setlist (according to LPU chat)
