  1. Personally, since some time last year I've felt like 2023 is the year we're going to see some kind of single and maybe one or two shows to promote it. I can understand them not wanting to tour. But a small, intimate show doesn't seem too out of left field. (And doesn't count as a tour). Stuff to basically get the rust off, get people excited again, before they go back into the studio for an album or whatever.
  2. A lot can change in a year. Especially when we're talking about 2022, that shit was five years long.
  3. 1.) Unreleased ATS demo 2.) Unreleased ATS demo 3.) Unreleased LT b-side 4.) Unreleased LT b-side 5.) Unreleased MTM demo 6.) Unreleased MTM b-side 7.) Unreleased MTM demo 8.) Unreleased LT demo 9.) Unreleased ATS b-side 10.) Unreleaed ATS b-side yeah, I could have been more creative with that. :|
  4. I'll listen to the leak when it comes out. Because damn it, I preordered the album twice. I'm not gonna feel guilty. At all.
  5. Wikipedia, no citation, and this is worthy of news? I wouldn't jump the horse just yet. My fake senses are off the charts. Anyone can edit wikipedia. However, props for mentioning to take everything with grains of salt-- but this should be taken with an entire truckload of salt. I'd be shocked if they were real, judging from the source. And as for what they'd gain from it: Lulz?
  6. My apologies for being a complete and total fucking worst of humanity jerk.
  7. Don't freaking jump to conclusions where there are none. kthnx. This. Is. NOT. A. CONFIRMATION. Therefore why is this in the news section. I mean, goddamn.
  8. 'scuse me sir, but why do you claim to know what the band would consider viral?
  9. And lo, Rolling Stones took words out of context, and the fanbase imploded upon itself.
  10. I would download this, but it's kinda big. >_> Can't mainly because my net has an arbitrary cap set by my ISP @ 80GB.
  11. I have a feeling that it'll be the same kind of deal as the Kerrang! interview. However, I could be mistaken-- I want scans, nonetheless.
  12. And had large obnoxious horrible blue text in his sig saying we should all forget ATS for a long period of time. Egotistical? Yep. Elitist? Yep. *headdesk*
  13. However-- that is indeed your opinion. I, and a lot of other fans, don't think it's a "bad change". Just because you don't like it, doesn't make it a bad thing. Just because a band puts out something that you don't like doesn't inherently make it bad. It's good music. Just not your kind of thing. It's still Linkin Park. I, for one, love everything LP has come out with. HT/Reanimation/Meteora/MTM/ATS. I want them to keep on doing the music they want, and not listen to what people want them to sound like. It's just more exciting that way-- you never know what they're going to do next. Love it, or hate it, you can't deny that Linkin Park is a unique band in how they change from album to album-- even with keeping the same kind of sound between Hybrid Theory and Meteora, they pulled off plenty of new, exciting things that kept everything fresh. They know how to make good music, regardless of genre-- but the genre hopping I think is what people complain about, because not many other bands ((That I know of)) change constantly each album, constantly reinventing their sound. I think you're in it for more "Rock" than anything else, which is why you hated ATS-- because it wasn't in your genre preferences. It came completely out of left field. I, for one, just like to sit back and enjoy the ride. I was originally in it for the rock too-- but Linkin Park have brought so much more to the table than that in the past few years, it really is quite amazing. I want them to keep on doing what they want to do, without constricting themselves to a single mindset. However-- As such, I don't mind if they work in some of their old sound into anything, because I know that Linkin Park will keep things fresh. The most exciting thing is that you just don't know what to expect with new songs. I love that feeling.
  14. No, they didn't sell out. Anyone who suggests such a thing is... Well, to put it frankly, an idiot. They're making the music they want to make. That's the opposite of selling out. ____ So, did they ever post an article? >.>
  15. Inb4 people take these two words out of context.
  16. I really don't think they changed their sound because of sales figures. I think they changed their sound because they wanted to. That's what I love about Linkin Park. They keep changing their music and experimenting. I can't wait for more info, too!
  17. http://japancinema.net/2012/02/01/creative...3-mike-shinoda/ Also suggests a Summer 2012 release for the new album! With so many people saying the same thing, from so many sources, one begins to wonder... Source: Mike's twitter.
