  2. They really are, and those packages include stupid stuff. I mean a signed electric guitar in a M&G package? Cut that crap and it could have been 2/3 less of the price. Also only UK Packages? They didn't have enough electric guitars, soccer scarfs, tour pins left for Amsterdam? Oh well, I can't complain after having the Summit here in 2014 and the event here with Chester and Mike
  3. The Benjamin Button tease, I am excited though, cannot wait for the lipsynced mic feeds, I mean singing in 2017? Linkin Park has been overrated for years for doing that
  4. The odd thing about this album seems to be the most logical thing. They worked with pop songwriters and ended up with a poppy sound. But more interesting would it have been would they have tried to lift the lyrically catchiness these songwriters normally offer to an other level with a little more daring productions. We know Mike is easily capable of that. Both BS and Heavy grew immensely on me and I listen both songs on a regular basis, and ofcourse we can;t just properly judge yet since we only officially heard two proper studio songs, but I hope they will actually show us some big suprises with the rest of the album and the overall sound.
  5. This will be interesting, I basically love everything currently, the songs seem to grow quickly on me. So I am very curious to hear how this song sounds.
  6. It feels bittersweet to know Chester and Mike will be so close to where I will be in some hours, but it is what it is. Still debating whether I will go to the venue and see what happens, but we'll see, first have to take care of other things, like my current really early morning shift It does, better luck to us next time Too bad! Congrats!!! keep us updated how the event went and everything surrounding it! Really curious to know how many LPU are there
  7. The real question is that someone from the Czech Republic won, while I have not read about actual Dutch LPU members winning tickets to the event though Dutch people won ofcourse in the other events
  8. That is what I am wondering 54 people is really not much, but maybe it is a really really limited event
  9. That might be a bit far away indeed. But let's hope for some miracles and more winners Very curious about how many people actually will be there tomorrow, unless also business partners from Warner got tickets to the event, It seems a very low amount.
  10. One of the contests gave away 10x2 tickets I wonder how much both LPU and that site with the form gave out. Only 54 people entered the LPU contest, if both LPU and the other site also gave away 10x2 tickets than they have invited a very very imited amount of people for the capacity of the venue. I might just go to the venue, since it is 20 minutes from my work, but something feels a bit odd about these contests
  11. Yeah I am holding a bit of faith for the LPU contest, and I never participated in a LPU contest before, so how do those contests work? Do they reveal the winners on the platform or just mail them?
  12. Yeah, just looked on Twitter again and it seems the people who won have gotten a mail from the marketing team from Warner Music, no news about LPU but I guess since that contest is closed, people also already got to know they have won?
  13. I have seen some people talking on Twitter that they won tickets...some like 6 hours ago, some like 7 minutes ago. I guess they all have been given out then? I also saw a random person that won that only entered the contest out of nostalgia
  14. I have no idea, I hope it will be early enough, if I would get tickets/acces, i would need to prepare some things for tomorrow, and I am so impatient
  15. https://www.facebook.com/ziggomusic/photos/a.198370823904486.1073741828.195993454142223/243489499392618/?type=3&theater Not yet, the Ziggo Music contest from Facebook will be revealed today, idk about the form etc.
  16. De Facebook page of Ziggo Music states it in De Melkweg.
  17. ^ I think so, it felt sold out, and the show itself was also more than sold out, since also a lot of LPU members got standing tickets on the day itself, even though it already said it was sold out if I remember it right Appearently it is an album presentation, or atleast it is presented that way. You can 'win' tickets different ways, including the form in the first post of the thread. It is held in De Melkweg, which is the venue I also saw Dead By Sunrise live, so there is technically space for a lot of people. Damn I hope everyone who signed up from here will get to go there, I am so curious to see if I will be able to attend. Bring on that announcement already. You can also try to get tickets through Ziggo Music on Facebook, if anyone is interested in that, but they basically make you beg in a Facebook post and I am not here for that. I think the form in the first post is the most fairest so far.
  18. I saw them live for the first time ever in 2014 (I saw Chester before with Dead By Sunrise though), which was a blast, every time they were on Pinkpop I had no oppertunity to go. I dearly hope that this promo trip will lead to an other show here, because I would love to see them again
  19. I also submitted the form, I am really hoping to attend and see what this will involve
  20. This album might up as a rollercoaster ride, even in the build up
  21. They do, I mean 'pop' is a broad genre, the quote just suggests an even bigger difference between the tracks though. I mean at the end of the day both Living Things and A Thousand Suns are pretty much also mixed genre records, and basically every track on those albums are a lot different from eachother in a much bigger way than Heavy and Battle Symphony so far. I just hope that the next material we hear actually is that much of a change in genre/sound as a track as When They Come For Me, Robot Boy and The Messenger are on ATS.
