Earlier today, Mike Shinoda posted on his blog about the newfound 1999 demo, "She Couldn't". This is what he had to say:

"Many of you have asked about an old demo that is floating around. The song is called “She Couldn’t.” We recorded it in 1999 during the making of Hybrid Theory, but it never made an album and was never released by us. For legal reasons, that's all I can say about the song, but I hope this clears things up!"

On Monday, June 22, Linkin Park will be appearing at UCLA for a private show. Entrance to the show was won through a KROQ competition. Doors to the show will open at 7pm where check-in will last until 9pm.

Unfortunately, the competition is already over and the winners have been announced.

How do I know? I won..

Did anyone else win? Does anyone have information on what all they are doing there? Thoughts?

Why are you all reading so much into it. He is simply saying he wants to make good music, if he had said the words, "we just want a good album" you all wouldn't react this much. Anti-suck=good --> chill.

Anyway, it will be a good album, and if your expectations of it are just that low, then you really need to move on to another band

Yeah, haha, that did suck..

So finally the music video for New Divide will be premiering this week on the 12th June on MySpace and maybe some other places. From everything we saw so far it looks like this will be a kickass video. Can't wait for it

Also the CD single will be released this week in Europe. In Germany on the 19th, elsewhere maybe earlier.

The Score and Soundtrack will be released in Germany on the 19th and on the 23rd in the U.S.

They will also release a Special Edition CD/DVD of the Soundtrack. No details on the DVD content yet, but it might be the New Divide video and a Making Of. We'll see.

I know news a bit slow at the moment, so I tried to sum the release infos up as much as I could. So if you have any other updates about release dates or something else, post it.

I guess so but it's more the principal - the UK fans are no less fans than the US, so why should we have to wait to hear it legally? This is what drives illegal downloading - am I going to wait that long to hear something which I could hear today and get today? Unlikely.

Well I am sure they didn't sit in the board room and go "f*** the UK, lets make them wait". It most likely came down to contract issues with iTunes, or other vendors/distributors.

I am on their main site and it says for me, the world premiere is at 8pm. So either they changed it from 5pm to 8pm, or it is basing it on your timezone when you go there. So would you happen to be in europe? I think soo..

So because you are in Sweden, it says that because it will be 2am there when it is premeired at 5pm in CA.

It may be that KROQ will be the first radio station with it, but you can actually stream it 3 hours earlier on their website:

So KROQ lied about Lp being in studio today to debut the track?
