I like that we live in an environment where we all have the right to say whatever we want. He isn't a douche because he spoke his mind.
-
Yeah, it is Burning in the Skies.
-
This means the album is somewhere out there. Any hour now..
EDIT: Being that the station has the wrong track, but even has that track. The NYTimes has it. I think it's somewhere out there.

There is a definite attempt on this album to sell the mainstream listeners. But, make no mistake that this is a solid "album" and is probably more of an album than any of their other CDs. It has a definite flow to it that is like none other from their offerings.
I enjoy every song on this cd.
Do I think this should have taken 3.5 years? No. But that doesn't mean it isn't good.
The reception of this album will determine the rest of their musical career....so if it is bad, it is on them. They won't need any harsh criticism.

In my opinion, this song is 100000x better than The Catalyst.
-
Let's hope there will be a CD.
-
Sounds like a politics concept album
-
Dang, only 4 people? Oh well, we'll all hear it in about 4 weeks!
-
This is excellent news! I bet this will be one of their best videos yet.
-
Great reply, I agree. I'm worried as well.
-
That's an awesome opportunity; I just realized there are about 30 days remaining until the album is released.
-
Nice. I'm not sure about the Dave Grohl hair but these are tight pics.
-
Not really. LP will sell big, my guess 1-2 times platinum, 5-6 million worldwide.
There are always people who buy a name, but if the songs they put out aren't appreciated by casual listeners (the majority) then they won't sell as much.

The Hot 100 sometimes shows how well an album will sell (the more a song catches on, the bigger the sales)... that's why it matters.
I'm hoping when the video comes out it will really catch on and then the album sales will explode.

"Linkin Park makes a strong entry onto the Hot 100 at No. 35 with “The Catalyst.” In addition to its fast start at radio, the song opens with 60,000 downloads, placing it at No. 20 on Hot Digital Songs and No. 1 on Rock Digital Songs."

I imagine Give Me Your Name to be a good song live, but it doesn't work on CD for me. I'd say that was the worst on the album.
-
Thanks for sharing! He sings so well.
-
How legit/likely is this?
-
I think it's been there, I pre-ordered it a few days ago.
-
Yeah... I wouldn't label it rock either.

How is P.O.D a one-hit wonder? Alive, Southtown, Boom, Satellite, Youth of the Nation, Rock the Party?
AFI is also not a one-hit wonder, girls not grey, miss murder, and silver and cold all charted well.
-
Lol Disturbed' Down With The Sickness was definitely a one hit wonder, it was not until Ten Thousand Fists that they received world-wide recognition, Believe was a success in the States, but it wasn't like the biggest thing since Korn so to speak.
Yeah... I don't know what makes you think that. Stupify, Liberate, and Prayer were all big hits. In fact, Prayer was one of their highest charting songs. It hit the 50s on the Hot 100 and like #3 on rock tracks.
"I get knocked down! But I get up again!" Chumbawamba was tight.

It's not Paramore's fault that the song hasn't yet appealed to a larger audience.

Accoridng to the Q103Albany Facebook page if you tune in at Noon, which I assume is 12pm EST, you will hear a brand new song from the Linkin Park album.
Listen here
EDIT: Or, as stated before, you can listen here for N-Joy.
However, NDR is not in English. So if you want to hear any sort of intro to it check out the first one.
