  1. Agree on pretty much everything, this release was much more similar to a real new record than HT20, the singles were actual “new” songs never heard before, the press they did was more album - like with the guys hyping up the songs like they did with the 7 albums, while with HT20 it was all a bit sad and we/they were still mourning his loss… I remember the sadness in Mike’s eyes reacting to the unreleased show, this time around he was like “guys Fighting myself is the definitive LP song you’ll love it. Check out more the victim, it’s amazing Chester sounds amazing” … a different atmosphere. But obviously the main difference was that this time around we got at least 5 songs that were almost as good as the album ones, the “holy grails” on HT20 were interesting demos but far from being eligible for the album.
  2. Totally this !! Love the relatability of the lyrics, so grounded and concrete
  3. Seoul 2003 set is GREAT: My December in the encore, APFMH where Chaz goes fucking wild in the bridge, Nobody’s Listeing in full, FTI and Faint one by one, the extra scratch on With You intro, Pushing me away remix … I love it
  4. Think we should be happy for what we got, we literally have 6 new songs.
  5. lol no I would not be enjoying M20 so much if I were him 😂
  6. It’s charting like a new album would. I love it.
  7. Mine arrived 2 weeks ago.
  8. Meteora 20 is currently #8 in Australia and #9 in Japan
  9. Massive is the proof that heavy LP with Mike on vocals can be a thing, like some sort of Mark the Graves
  10. That one is great, I just wish the vocals were a bit louder, but it’s amazing it got full vocals, even if they are a reference to Chester. Amazing
  11. Going to debut n. 3 in UK and selling 27k first week in U.S. https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/ellie-goulding-eyeing-fourth-number-1-album-with-higher-than-heaven__39014/ https://kworb.net/charts/apple_a/us.html
  12. The more they promote stuff, the more they make me happy. More the victim is a fucking banger
  13. https://kworb.net/ww/ "Did you guys expect to have 6 of the Lost demos in the Itunes Top 50?" Resolution and Massive being there is NUTS
  14. Thoughts on the Lost demos: the famous 4 “new” songs with Chester on vocals are AMAZING, More the victim being probably my favorite, a bit more unique than the others but all of them are great. Massive is amazing wish it was completed, instrumentally is freaking insane, that bridge. Husky is cool, I kinda like the vibe of the verses a bit more than HTF. Cool to have it, same for Plaster 2, the solo is so cool. A6 is cool with finally some vocals, but it was a little bit a let down because we all expected the “just track it out, remember” . It’s nice. I love Cuidado, so raw and gritty, it misses the carnival sample but i love this instrumental. I don’t see myself coming back to interrogation and faint, nice demos but kinda what I expected, nothing that freaks me out. I like the piano on Interrogation a lot and the extended riff In Faint. Shifter is the weirdest LP demo ever, love how it is totally different from the final version vocally, sounds like Staind at times 😂 Wesside is cool, except for the Meteora like typical riff the rest sounds nothing like nu metal LP (almost ATS ish) and I love that. Only issue I have is that it’s a bit too long for my taste for being an instrumental. Resolution: cool to have a more complete version of Wizard song, but I am not a big fan of Mike’s Xero rap style here. Nice but not something I will listen to very often. All in all, solid release ! It’s like a double LPU and maybe the best one we ever got.
  15. Can’t wait to blast the Lost Demos and stuff like Wish on Spotify
  16. Yeah it’s amazing, deep, uplifting, at times obviously sad, it’s like them talking with a good old friend. Zane was amazing and the guys too.
  17. Spoil me the song, describe it tome as if I were deaf, I will wait friday
  18. My takes on the 3 "new" songs I heard on Sirius XM (Reddit): - A.06: very raw, cool to have some rap vocals there, but i was kinda bummed by the lack of Chester on it. Good stuff anyway. - Massive: blown away, if the vocals in the chorus were higher in the mix would be phenomenal, instrumentally is SUPER interesting. - Husky: cool rap, good to have an alternative take like we got on Faint and Figure 09 LPU demos. Nothing I'm freaking out for but it's cool Cannot wait for the rest
  19. Very interesting question, I think that it was meant for Chester if they finished the song, but honestly Mike sounds really good, a lot better than So far away or that BTH demo.
  20. Yeah totally
  21. TOTALLY AGREE. Right after Chester’s passing I was like “if they continue they should choose someone similar to him, for what is possible, like Oli from BMTH or Sam Carter of Architects so they can play the heavy stuff”. But no ? Fuck no, go wild and if you want to bring a second vocalist do something totally different, bring a female vocalist or someone who sounds nothing like Chester.
  22. Totally, bands like Architects and BMTH do it all the time now
  23. Really really good track, when I read the Altwire review and saw it was Mike singing I was like “ehhh pre MTM Mike singing” but it’s fucking dope ! I mean, for a demo, I love it
