Well, they could do a new metal EP making fun of new metal fans. I would enjoy this EP more than OML, probably. Judging by Mike's tweet doesn't seem like an "Official" mmm...cokies thing to be released under its name.

You know what, the song is fun and listenable. Its at least ok. But what disappoints me is that it took 18 months for them to craft it. I was expecting something more deep. Well, afterall expectations are what kills the experience.

What's weird is that Mike was in a SJW vibe last year. And now they accept the "hoe" thing. If this is supposed to be sarcastic, then Stormzy is making fun of himself. And i don't think he would do that like this. OML is a personal, very serious meaningful album. Why would they put a ironic/funny song on there? Doesn't seem to fit. All lyrics were written based on their life problems, and this one was written based on "i was watching basketball..."

Really guys? Those verses are bad. Look at them again. Rakim's one on GATS was a killer, a real class of lyricism and deliver. No repetitions of words, an insane pattern. Those lyrics are gangsta shitty raps, rap battle "i'm better than you" all over again. Hope the sounding can compensate.

Something i said once and will repeat now: I think it's time for them to stop trying to "experiment". They should stick with a sound for 2 or 3 albums. When you're always experiment, nothing seems definitive/official. You're just trying things, you ain't even sure what you want. So they should stick with a style for a while (and i hope it isn't OML's style), because after that when they release a new experimental sound it will feel much more fresh and new, unexpected, a real surprise. We know we can expect anything from them and this kills the surprise of the unexpected. I don't want to believe they made 100 demos and this song was chosen to be on the final list. What are the ones left behind?

I'm sad. Really. I think it's the time to slow down my fanaticism for the band. Years following them everyday, expecting new music, and then they come with this. I'm disappointed and it's bringing me down. I think... i'll try to care less.

well... i have no more expectations on OML. Will listen to it, but already gave up on it. Feel like waiting for LP8 already.
