I agree. The sets are way to short.. Foo Fighters for example play like 3 hour shows. It's a waste of money to spend like 90$ a ticket to see LP play a boring set consisting of only singles pretty much, every time. I've been to 11 LP shows and the PR shows were definitely worth the money, but some of the others, not so much. From what people say, LP songs aren't all too difficult to play. There should be a nice variety of stuff from every album, LP only really has released 4 albums in over a 10 year time, that's not a lot seeing as how each album has 12 songs or less (ATS). A lot of HT+Meteora songs should be brought back, play some good MTM songs like In Pieces, Little Things, HHH, and Wretches and Blackout and stuff in every set! Would be more than worth the money and it would make the show way more energetic. Ticket sales would probably skyrocket too. Also, GREAT point. I've been to shows in 2007 and 2008 when Chester and Mike were ALWAYS talking to the crowd, having fun, etc. The shows I went to in 2010 and 2011 are just like 'Thank you'. That's pretty much it. Generic stuff like 'put your hands up'. 'I need to see you guys jump', etc is fucked up because they do it at every single show. Why not talk more? It seems like LP doesn't even like touring at all because they have complete lack of energy and don't even communicate or play stuff that fans like. I don't give a fuck if Chester doesn't like Hybrid Theory or Meteora, if your fans would kill to hear a few of those songs, why not just play them? The only reason Chester is so famous, as well as the rest of LP, is because of the FANS. I understand not wanting to make the same album, I totally get that and I love it. But live shows are different. Live shows are meant for the fans to have a fun time and just hear a bunch of good LP tracks.

I hope they air audio from the show that way we can get a accurate set and get to hear the show as they play... would be awesome. Is anyone posting in this thread at the show right now?

Well, yeah I guess. They should just play a more rock/metal set then their usual set, though. Bullet and Disturbed were before LP... And I know for a fact Bullet probably kicked ass because they always do. The only thing I hate about LP is that they don't ever play songs that fans want. I don't see why they don't. Pretty much EVERY band I know plays songs that the fans wants to hear, not just singles only. I understand at shows like Madrid, or stuff like that, to play their usual set since it's being recorded for TV, etc. But shows like this should at least have a few fan favorites. APFMH?

See, I don't want to be the guy that always is bitching about the set. But for a show like Download, they should change the set up A LITTLE BIT. Why play songs like Shadow, WFTE, and shit like that at a metal festival, when they know damn well that the crowd would love stuff like By Myself, With You, Figure.09, etc. At festival shows they should play different, cool sets. On their headlining shows it's fine to play the regular set...

Don't want to bitch about the set, but they should change the set a little, accordingly. Download is pretty much a metal festival, and LP have enough 'metal' type songs that would work to their advantage. They're following Bullet and Disturbed, they should choose heavier songs. This would never happen, but songs like Blackout, From The Inside, With You, Figure.09, Qwerty (Def never happen) should be replacing stuff like WID, Waiting For The End, Iridescent, Shadow Of The Day, etc.

The WID remix sounds nothing like this. Have you not heard it?? Anyways, the version in this song is like slower than the original, it sounds awesome.

Pretty cool stuff. I like Mike's new layout on his blog a lot, and I'm pretty excited for a full set in Moscow being broadcasted, it means we get every 2011 show practically, unless something happens with the Asian tour in September. Also, the Jesus pic is awesome.

I think a lot of people would love to see A Day To Remember and Black Veil Brides with LP!! I wish it would happen, both are really good bands.

When I read things like this, I feel bad because I have met LP 4 different times...If I could trade one of my times and give it to him I would. Let's hope LP can make this happen, as well as Green Day and Ozzy.

I want to see Wretches played after Papercut like it was. And why is BITS not being played anymore. Why is Robot Boy not making a debut!!! I want BITS, WTCFM, Robot Boy, WFTE, Blackout, Wretches, Iridescent, The Catalyst and The Messenger in EVERY SET not being rotated.

Um..you know SOB isn't even relevant anymore right? And bands like Korn, SOB and Julien-K have all been on past PR's, I doubt LP would want to play with bands that were already on the tour previously. Not trying to sound like a dick, but I'm just saying... Realistically, I'd like to see something like this MAIN STAGE Linkin Park Muse 30 Seconds To Mars Alkaline Trio REV STAGE A Day To Remember D.R.U.G.S. (kind of contracted since Craig played with LP when he was in Chiodos but it wasn't PR) Black Veil Brides Anberlin Die Antwoord (I know I contradicted myself since they are on PR this year in Europe but fuck it) I like this because the main stage has HUGE bands like LP, Muse and 30 Seconds To Mars and I just like Alkaline Trio and I think it would be a good bridge from the rev stage artists to the huge bands. The rev stage has some huge bands and I think it would be a good idea since it would attract lots of people to come early and be there all day. Die Antwoord is awesome and they're perfect for a tour like PR. I love all the Rev bands and I just think this tour would flow good.

That was an awesome idea that never happened and never will. Chester hates pretty much all songs from HT and Meteora, but I'm sure someone in the band wanted to play a mix of songs for the fans. I myself personally, would love to see ATS played live in it's entirety. They should have done it at the album release show last year in NYC, I was there. It's the only show they opened with The Requiem and The Radiance back to back, and I thought it was going into BITS but it went into ND instead. I was there...would have been a perfect time to do it. They could even just play ATS full, and still have tons of time left over for old songs!!! For example 1-15 - ATS 16. Papercut 17. Faint 18. Crawling 19. Lying From You 20. Given Up 21. No More Sorrow 22. One Step Closer OR (Rotating set with slow old songs) 1-15 - ATS 16. In The End 17. What I've Done 18. Numb 19. Breaking The Habit 20. Bleed It Out But as I was saying, this is the ATS WORLD TOUR. No reason why Wretches, BITS and The Messenger aren't in every set already. Robot Boy needs to be played, it's the only song from ATS that hasn't been played live and they are going to end the ATS cycle without ever playing it and it will just be forgotten and never performed, I bet on it. I don't see why because Robot Boy is an amazing song and it would be nice to hear a stripped down version even, like Mike said earlier this year. ATS only has 9 full songs on it really, so why not do the 9 ATS songs and ditch the interludes and do a bunch of awesome old stuff mixed in with singles and ATS??? Makes no sense!! It could be awesome!!

LP needs to get their shit together. They played horribly last night at Weenie Roast. Doubt tonight is much better. What is with the boring set? Why not change that shit up? Make a new set that contains most ATS songs, since this is the world tour. Why not drop boring songs like Numb, ITE, SOTD, WID, etc. Idk. I'd just like to see something cool since this is probably the last tour for ATS... Anyways, can't wait to get the DSP's for this tour. It'll be cool having some festival DSP's, and I'm sure the PR shows will be cool to have. I also can't wait for the ATS world tour to be over. I want some new music. I like when LP is studio mode sometimes, we get some cool updates, pics, LPTV's, etc. and I bet the next album will be better than ATS, MTM, and Meteora.

I'm not sure, but I think I agree...sadly. One would hope that LP would change up the set at least a little for the summer shows, but who knows. Especially PR shows, why make the fans sit through a boring ass set like C6. C6 is probably the shittiest LP set to date. Papercut opening is cool, but what idiot in the band decided that WJL > Iridescent > SOTD > ND > ITE > BIO as an encore idea? That is probably the worst encore ever. The only thing that is ok about it is APFMH over BIO. Overall it's a boring ass yawn fest set. I HAVE SEEN THIS SET LIVE. So don't tell me I wasn't at the past two shows (Weenie Roast and BFD). B13 was a great set for example. Opened with Faint, ended with OSC and it had Blackout. The flow of the songs were better as well and it was a decent encore. Or what about that set they played ONCE that opened with New Divide and had the crazy encore with Blackout, Papercut, Crawling, Faint, OSC? That was awesome. W&K should be added to the set as well as songs like Robot Boy, The Messenger, BITS has for some odd ass reason been excluded, etc. THIS IS THE ATS FUCKING WORLD TOUR. Where are all the ATS songs????

I thought it was years ago that Dave Grohl said that?? I'm not a FF fan, and I wasn't pumped that they opened for LP, but I don't hate them for saying that and their music isn't bad. Let them think what they want about LP, Motley Crue or any of the tons of bands that use backing tracks live. LP is still bigger and better. I was kind of pissed that they just randomly played and caused LP to cut songs and shit. People came to see LP in full, FF should have been respectful and played a shorter set. Dave Grohl also continuously mentioned 'we have to play a short set', 'we usually play for 3 hours', 'next time we can do a 3 hour show for you guys', etc. Kind of a DICK thing to do. Like, LP is better than you. So get out and let better bands play.

I watched the whole show last night, I wasn't impressed at all. The band didn't do a good set, and they didn't really perform that well IMO. Way too many technical problems and shit. Chester was either pissed off or didn't feel well. I can't complain really though because it was a free webcast. Just hope tonight's show has a webcast, in broadcast in full, and they play better.
