  1. I need to hear Rock Werchter!!! I might buy the DSP.
  2. If the record doesn't come out before December of next year, nobody will ever hear the record. ... JK.
  3. Still haven't received my package or an email yet... Although, I am almost positive that I ordered the shirt in XL so I might have to wait a little still. Can't wait for my package.
  4. Idk...I might not care if the band would drop a song to talk to the crowd for a few minutes. Songs like In The End, Numb, Crawling, etc. I could do without hearing.
  5. Maybe, the band was afraid to come out and say that they did. Besides Chester, the rest of the band is very secretive and private with their lives, while Chester is very open. I'm not sure though. I know that Rob had a dark past with drugs and I know that Mike drinks, for sure. I read somewhere that Mike passed out drunk on stage once from drinking dixie cups full of beer. And I know that Rob did from many interviews about it.
  6. It's a pretty good EP, I like how it was mixed. Good performances of Papercut and The Catalyst IMO. I like Rolling In The Deep too.
  7. I can't wait to hear Rock Werchter.
  8. I love Chester and he is my favorite member of LP by far, but if Mike ever 'left' the band or 'got replaced', I wouldn't listen to LP anymore either. Come to think of it, I don't think I'd like LP anymore if any member of the band was replaced. I love the whole band and it'd be amazing for them to stay together with the original 6 members for their whole career, minus for Chester replacing Mark.
  9. It would be awesome for LP to release a new album in the spring of next year and do a Projekt Rev in the Summer. What....I can dream can't I? Realistically, I can see maybe a late 2012 release for the new album, or MAYBE even possibly early to mid 2013...
  10. I don't think this is true...mainly because it 'takes place' on a date that LP isn't known to be touring, and because it's so close to New Years, I bet the band would want to be with their families. Also, I don't think they'd just randomly play a show in China when there are no other tour dates around that time.
  11. Brad on What We Don't Know ''What We Don't Know''. ''That was the song that we started during the Minutes To Midnight writing period, and we kind of left it as it is, and then never really finished it. To me I just love the feel of it and even in it's current form I like it. I always thought it had a lot of potential to be a great song''. Nothing really special, I just thought it was cool because I am obsessed with anything MTM and I like knowing little facts like that. It's also my favorite LP demo ever released this far.
  12. Where can I hear the iTunes mix for RITD??? I can't buy it since I live in the US.
  13. Overall, I thought it was a good tour. Much better than the first half of 2011, IMO. The band seemed to lack energy on the US tour, and they came back full force in the summer of this year. For instance, shows like Download 2011, Helsinki PR, Novarock 2011, Moscow and the iTunes Festival a few days ago were really kick ass shows. I wish the band would play Blackout more often, especially since Chester and Phoenix like it a lot, hopefully we will get some good performances of it from the Asia tour in the fall.
  14. I'd post the exact quote for you guys, but I don't want to get in any trouble.
  15. I agree, that would have been really cool to add..
  16. It's a pretty cool newsletter, I like what Brad says about the background info for What We Don't Know. It's one of my favorite tracks from the MTM era.
  17. I agree, I went to 3 shows on the ATS world tour and I got to see Blackout once in NYC. I love Blackout, studio AND live, something that's usually rare for me. It should be included way more often, it's a fan favorite and it's hardly ever played..much like Wretches is now.
  18. I didn't mean to say 'I don't like Mike', because I do like Mike, just not when he sings as much as he did in ATS. I don't know why I don't like his singing, I just don't and I can't make myself like it. I've tried since ATS came out to enjoy it but I just can't. There used to be a time where I actually liked Mike a lot more than Chester, back during his FM times and MTM times. But now it's just...he isn't the same to me. LP meant something to be back then. I bought Hybrid Theory in 2001 and became a die-hard fan in 2004, and old LP music lives in my heart, I can't help it. I love it. MTM is also my favorite album and people always criticize me, saying ATS is better, etc. It's fine if you think that but no need for every member to gang up on me. I understand that nearly every member of LP fansites don't like me, I'm well known for being the laughing stock of LP sites. But I don't care, I take it all because I love LP too much to stop caring about them... Thank you for this post though, means a lot to me. This is exactly what I mean. The owner of the website coming at me like this. Mike doesn't 'run' the band. All 6 members run the band, they all bring their own uniqueness and creativity to the band. Just because Mike puts everything together and does a lot of press since ATS has been released doesn't mean he 'runs' the band. A statement such as this is just idiotic and you all follow it and believe this is true. LP wouldn't have 6 members if Mike 'ran' the band.
  19. It is true. Every single post I read in this forum, it's all 'OMFG Mike is so awesome' or 'Mike should do more vocals than Chester (forgot what thread it was)' or stupid shit like 'Mike is the leader of the band' or 'Mike should replace Chester'. That pisses me off. There is no 'leader' of LP. It makes no sense to have Mike replace Chester when they don't even do the same roles in the band. I wouldn't even care that everyone is a die-hard Mike fan on this forum, but I when I express my opinions on why I don't like certain things such as ATS, forum members and EVEN MODS jump down my throat and gang up on me because I said something they don't like. At least on forums like LPA, the mods don't attack me because they disagree with my opinion.
  20. I don't understand why it's so hard for anyone in this forum to understand. I love all LP releases EXCEPT for ATS. I don't like ATS because I am not a fan of Mike singing parts that Chester should have sang. Such as the verses in BITS and Iridescent, parts in The Catalyst, the end of Blackout, etc. I like songs like When They Come For Me, Waiting For The End and Wretches because Mike raps and it sounds really good. I am a die hard Chester fan and the reason why I have loved LP for many years is because of the combination of Mike's raps and Chester's singing. But ATS is more of Mike rapping AND singing. I don't like it and I never will, I am sorry if that offends anyone. I didn't think MY OPINION on a LP album would offend that many people. God forbid someone on lplive disses Mike Shinoda, even when it's not really a diss and a very small one at that. This is the only LP fansite that is like that, I swear every single member of this forum is in love with Mike and doesn't even barely appreciate any other member of the band at all. Fuck this website.
  21. There really is. But I wouldn't have called this a surprise if I was Mike. With You or something should have been played... Mike even said maybe. Anything old or Robot Boy. Idk. I'm just kind of let down since we already heard Rollin In The Deep and have a decent quality version of it. I'm out.
  22. WTF... SERIOUSLY?!? THIS IS THE SURPRISE! Rollin In The Deep when we already have that!!!
  23. I'll probably fall asleep if I seriously have to watch shitty songs like WJL, Iridescent and New Divide all back to back...omg. Iridescent should NOT be in any encore.
