  1. Hi. My name is John Titor and i came from the future, i just taked over Nameless' account. The fourth studio album from the ancient band called "Linkin Park" will be dropped around the last months of 2010/firsts months of 2011. I cannot tell you the exact date because otherwise i'd cause a space-time paradox. You can trust me.
  2. They were right about OOA being on streaming on MySpace something like a month before the release.
  3. *Go go gadget official confirmation from MSM* ...i hope.
  4. Don't be silly, it's because there's not a reliable source linked with the news. Nothing against Brazil.
  5. As Linkin Park Brazil reports: Do you think the 'Linkin Park world' is half stopped? So i recommend that you begin to warm yourselves, since the band will do a press conference between June and July to announce new world tour, name and release date of the new album. Thoughs? May i ask to the LPBR dudes subscribed here (wesleylpbr and slimshinoda?) to admit if you talked with someone from a well-known music label? Since you guys omitted the source.
  6. Is that DVD the original source, am i right?
  7. Yup, but not because i'm a fan, only because it sounded cool, lol. /OT
  8. Thanks dude, i'm adding this on the mainpost. lol.
  9. Mike is live right now on UStream, log-in HERE to chat with him. The recorded stream can be viewed HERE He said there will hopefully be LPTVs of the new album writing/recording process in the next month or two.Mike also joined LP.com chat, but nothing significant was revealed, he joined just for chillin'.
  10. I Like that! Also posted on Facebook
  11. Yep Note: Because this project is categorized as being in production, the data is subject to change; some data could be removed completely.
  12. "oh noez LP updating the game is holding up the new album!!1" /obligatory
  13. From MS' Blog: "I forgot to put this up last week: 8 Bit Rebellion hit #1 on the music games chart in the iTunes app store in its first week. This is just a note to say “thank you” to everyone who has bought the game. If you like the game, keep spreading the word and posting reviews in the app store. We’re talking about updates to the game right now…looking forward to adding more fun stuff to do. More to come…" Thoughts?
  14. Interviewer: Mike, what do u prefer: N*SYNC or Backstreet Boys? Mike: Slow death. I've also found some quotes on linkinparkpt: “How many girls out there are wearing a ‘Mike Shinoda is my boyfriend’ t-shirt?” “Look how fat my head is, it's fatter than normal... IT'S TOO BIG!” “Joe: Mike walked over there, put a CD in, he was looking at the TV, sat on that table, and broke it in half! Mike: Oh my God, I'm so bummed. Joe: Stupid rock star! Mike: How funny is this? I put my fat ass... I put my fat ass on this table, and I broke it!” “Mike: I'm not a very reading person, I like to look at pictures. Chester: Mike likes porno. Mike: I don't like porno. I like graphics.“ Mike: The best thing I'd ever done is when my brother went to oversea and I came back home as a Christmas present. Chester: In a box. Mike: Yes, in a box.” “Mike: Some kid told someone else they can get banned for calling us assholes. Anna: Mike, you're an asshole.” “Our band has become increasingly more 'bourgeoise'. Like, we can't go anywhere without one of us being on a cell phone and being like 'why don't you have my people call your people and maybe we'll do lunch'!” “Joe: Are you saying I'm fat? Mike: Yes. I mean no! I mean, hmmm...” “Mike: Most of us met a long time ago. Brad and I met in junior high and we met Rob in high school, we met Joe in college. Chester: And they made me in college in a chemistry class. They copied Frankenstein's work and used pieces of dead people, which is why I have to wear this (touches his spiked collar), to hide the scar tissue. Mike: Except we were in art school. That was the whole problem. In art school, and there were no really good chemistry classes - so look what we came up with!” “Brad: Mike, were you like in a pop group before Linkin Park? Mike: I was in Menudo. Brad: I heard that you can sing and dance real nice. Is it true you had a fight with Ricky Martin, and that's why they kicked you out? Or was it the age thing? Mike: Ricky is an ass. He's just bitter 'cause my name was first on the first CD.” “Mike: I'm going to sprout wings out of my ass one day and fly around the world. Chester: Sounds like fun, can I join you?” “Mike: We're breaking up. Interviewer: I knew it! Mike: Yeah, I'm going to start a restaurant, it's going to be a mix of Tai and medieval... Interviewer: ...traditional irish cuisine? Mike: Yes, but now that it's predictable I'm going to need to think of something else....Maybe I'll make a circus.” “Mike: A lot has been made of the contrast between me and Chester because we are totally different in a lot of ways. He's crazy for a start off. I'm sane. He used to run around at the age of two singing Foreigner songs. I certainly didn't. He'll show you his butt. I wouldn't inflict that on anybody. We learned pretty early on in this band that you can't have snobbery in music. Our guitarist is a huge Britney Spears fan.” “Mike: The funniest thing about chicken 'freak-acea' is the evolution of Dave changing how he said it, cause the guy on the phone laughed at him when he called up and asked for chicken fricassee.” “When Mike Shinoda Tours in Japan... he must have Monkeys on every step.” “I remember Chester mooning people up and down Bourbon Street, and he and I have a thing for stealing golf carts. I almost ran over Chester with a golf cart when we were in Florida.” “Interviewer: Mike, what do u prefer: N*SYNC or Backstreet Boys? Mike: Slow death. ” “I have a toothbrush. My toothbrush is sexy.” “Entrevistador KROQ: What do you want for Christmas? Mike: Your underwear.” “Chester: (goes into living room) Mike, what the hell are you doing up this late? Mike: I'm just uh... (switches off TV) I'm just watching the news. Chester: Does news involve naked people?” “Chester: There was another time when Mike was in a really foul mood and we had to make a pit stop so he could use a porta-potty. Mike: Chester?! Joe: I remember this one! Chester: Anyways, Mike went to use the porta potty and we were waiting inside the RV. It was Joe's idea, but we all got out and started to rock the thing back and forth. We didn't mean to, but we ended up tipping the porta potty over while Mike was in it! Mike: That was so not funny. Joe: Yeah it was, you should have seen the look on your face when you got out of there! Rob: Mike was covered in crap. He had to strip down before we let him back on the bus because he smelled so bad! Chester: Then we attacked him with air freshener. Brad: Lysol!”
  15. One thing is a June show rumor in September-January Another thing is June show rumor in May.. Pretty fake
  16. Mike was on KROQ on Monday to talk about 8-Bit Rebellion, listen to the podcast HERE. He also dropped a video interview for MTV, watch it HERE A little exerpt of the written interview on MTV.com: "[...] But the bonus comes at the end when players who beat the game gain access to a new LP song called "Blackbirds." Shinoda assured fans that the song is not a leftover or a B-side: The track was recorded exclusively for "8-Bit Rebellion!" and won't appear on any upcoming albums." I guess we know what to ask in the next Mike's chat at LPU. "We're definitely hoping to continue to add to the game," Shinoda said. "That's one thing that's nice about the way the Apple app store is set up that you can, whether for an extra charge or for free, you can upload new content for your game. It's really easy — we intend to keep it moving." Thoughts? Thanks to Jas over LPTimes
  17. Mike posted the lyrics: I shiver and shake the warm air cold I’m alone on my own In every mistake I dig this hole Through my skin and bones It’s harder starting over Than never to have changed With Blackbirds following me I’m digging out my grave They close in, swallowing me The pain, it comes in waves I’m getting back what I gave I sweat through the sheet as daylight fades As I waste away It traps me inside mistakes I’ve made That’s the price I pay It’s harder starting over Than never to have changed With Blackbirds following me I’m digging out my grave They close in, swallowing me The pain, it comes in waves I’m getting back what I gave I drop to the floor like I did before Stop watching / I’m coughing / I can’t be more What I want and what I need are at constant war Like a well full of poison / a rotten core The blood goes thin / the fever stings And I shake from the hell that the habits bring Let the sick ones down / the bells will ring Put pennies on the eyes / let the dead men sing EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to add the most “mysterious” part: the intro rap verse. That was a demo / freestyle session that was the template for the bridge. Lyrically, this is what some of my demo rap stuff sounds like–it kinda makes sense, kinda doesn’t…thought it would be a cool way to open up the song Blackbirds – Lyrics 8 Bit Rebellion Drop that / get up Take to the streets / better lock that kid up Face full of teeth when he hock that spit up Pacing the beat like a beast Rocking the block on repeat Speak from the cut like a rush of blood Paint red on the sleeves of the ones you love Lay the sick ones down and the bells will ring Put pennies on the eyes let the dead men sing
  18. I think he meant: "it's not a video like all the others are meant to be, but only a video made for the game-ending-credits"
  19. The Blackbirds version officially released inside the game is 128kbps.. *disappointed*
